Jessa and Ben's New House

Ben Seewald and Jessa Seewald

Jessa and Ben Seewald are upgrading! They are in the process of renovating a home of their own. They are adding a master suite, which will bring the total square footage up to about 2,000 square feet. Their current place is half that size. Jessa uploaded a video to YouTube that shows the early stages of the project (link below). The video starts last summer, just before Jessa delivered Fern, which is why she appears pregnant.

    1. Only if they buy a bigger house. This one will still be too small for all the offspring they already have. They are in precisely the same boat they were in before but just in a different stream now LOL!!!!

    2. 10:18 this house has three bedrooms plus a master suite. The kiddos will share rooms 2×3 is 6 that's 2 more than they have now or 3x3 is 9, that's 5 more than they have now. This house is great for their family now and in the future.

    3. It's hard for me to understand that so many people seem to be so snobby in regards to housing. The house is too small for 4 kids? It's a three bedroom and as I understood from the video, they were adding on a master bedroom. Two kids can easily fit into a bedroom and depending on the size of the room you can fit 3 comfortably so even without a new master bedroom they have enough space.

    4. 9:16 PM - You are dealing with people that try to act better than them. They grew up having rooms of their own and had amazing royal tutors lol. I swear they be tripping on here. I love how the Duggars make them so mad.

    5. It isn't too small if you can handle their way of life. For all the future kids to come, they will line the bedrooms with bunk beds. Each kid will have one dresser drawer as their own space. No one will have their own clothes, but just grab whatever they can find in the stuffed closet. The kids will all share one bathroom, which is also the bedroom for any company that visits. Most of the time, the living area will be full of little people, toys, mess and chaos. If you are content with all that, then the house is just right.

    2. What does that mean? The Duggars and Bates know how to do houses. Jealous much? You obviously have not watch a lot about the Duggars @11:15.

      Delete
    3. Oh, brother. It doesn't take a degree to know how you want your house to look. I mean, we all have eyes and can see how other houses are arranged and know what we want and don't want.

  5. You have to wonder how they afford all this.

    1. She said they used a good portion of their savings. So obviously have been doing quite well with putting money aside which is impressive

      Delete
    2. Does it matter? Obviously it's nothing illegal, they obviously saved the money they made from Counting on through the years they were on the show, some people like to spend their money straight away some people have the patience to save, depends on your goals and dreams, and some people don't have goals they just fitter away money, but whatever floats their boat, I did waste a lot of money over the years but now I've got everything I have the patience to save for a deposit for a mortgage.

      Delete
    3. I don't wonder....NOT my business! Ben has a position with a church and as Jessa said they have saved. Let's all be happy for them and stay in our own lane 😊

      Delete
    4. Not really. Ben has been working since he finished high school; is employed full-time; Jessa earns money doing a blog, and product endorsements, and royalties from the book she co-wrote. And when you save your money instead of throwing it away on cigarettes, alcohol and lottery tickets.....

      Delete
    5. I'm sure they saved their money like other people do when they are buying a home.

      Delete
    6. Do you comment that about your family/friends who get new houses and cars? At the end of the day, it's nobodies business how they afford it. How did you afford the internet to ask how much they afford renovating the house? lol

      Delete
    7. They work. This family never needed TLC. That's the funny part about all of these people that ask this question and assume they won't make it now that they don't have a show. They have money people.

      Delete
    8. I’m sure her sponsorships and YouTube channel bring in a nice income. I know some YouTubers/social media influencers with half the size of her following bringing in 6 grand a month.

    10. so where has he been working since he left high school oh thats right he started off cleaning toilets for jim bob what has he done since then

      Delete
    11. He mowed lawns for Jim Bob too.

      Delete
    12. Even if they did use money from Counting On, alot of young people use family money to help them buy a house. It's not that uncommon. I notice alot of my friends doing that.

      Delete
    13. 5:15 AM - You been cleaning toilets for Jim Bob or someone else? (I am saying this because people like you always end up talking about themselves and lash out at the Duggars because of jealousy).

      Delete
    14. @5:25- what is wrong with cleaning toilets? It shows me that he is willing to work and start at the bottom. He went to college snd has a paid position teaching and working with a church.

      Delete
    15. @3:58 Nobody is "jealous." That's always the fall-back comment here when you can't think of any other possible reason for someone else's comment. Don't like or agree with something? Then that person must be "jealous."

  6. That’s awesome for them! It will be so nice to have extra space and more bedrooms.

  7. It will be a very nice home for their family. I'm glad they're using knowledgeable and licensed tradesmen for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work.

    1. Oh yes because of course they never done that before lol.

      Delete
    2. The brother and Bates boy are licensed?

      Delete
    3. That's a odd thing to add. Most people do that just as their parents did when they had their home built.

      Delete
    4. Looked to me like they were using Duggar and Bstes boys, not pros.

      Delete
    5. 10:21 AM - The Duggars and Bates are actually very knowledgeable with houses unless you know them personally and know something we all don't know. The pros these days don't do a very good job a good majority of the time.

  8. I'm sure she'll be thrilled to have that extra space (more cleaning, but more room for the kids).

    1. Well they only have four right now and could easily plug in more kiddos. After all they had a total of six people in a two bedroom. Children do not need their own rooms. Here in the US we crave space, in other countries they live in much smaller homes...it's all good.

      Delete
    2. SHE does too unless they've changed their minds.

    1. A family of 8 can squeeze into a 2 bedroom house but weirdly people think sisters can't share a room together or brothers can't share a room together these days, they have to have their own space. It doesn't make sense to me.

      Delete
    2. Let us pray it is not on a busy road.

      Delete
    3. 8:40, the only way to get 6 kids in 1 room is if the room is really large. As children grow it’s not a good idea for boys & girls to share a bedroom.

      Delete
    4. @5:27 I am a baby of 6 kids and grew up in a 3 bedroom house in the early 2000s after my dad lost his job. The rooms was small but we had a roof over our heads. The girls shared a room and the boys shared a room. Those people who grew up "privileged" as it seems in this comment section needs to be thankful for what they have. I knew families that squeezed 4 kids in one bedroom that was so small, it barely fit them. They had no other choice but they made it work.

      Delete
    5. A family of 8 in a 2 bedroom house is poverty living and unhealthy for both children and adults.

      Delete
    6. 5:27, actually there are ways to do it when the room is small. That’s how I grew up, and none of us are worse for wear from it. I enjoyed being so close to my siblings, and have a good relationship with each of them to this day.

      Delete
    7. 5:27 Not everyone is lucky enough. I grew up in the 1960s and had to share a room with my sisters and brothers. The way things are right now many families are having to downgrade homes because of their jobs and prices of rent & food going up. It's hard I know. It must be so nice not struggling and worrying every month.

      Delete
    8. I grew up sharing a room with my siblings and I am fine lol. My siblings and I are like best friends. I wouldn't say we was poor, we just had enough. We had clean house. We had a roof. We had food on the table. You all sound like you lived in mansions and had maids. That's the vibe I am getting. You all need to buckle up because 11:50 ain't wrong. The way the prices of on everything going up, you may find your life get turned up side down in a blink of an eye.

    9. My Dad shared a double bed with his four brothers. That's poverty

    2. The house belonged to Grandma Duggar while she was alive and it probably stayed in the family. I believe that's why the OP asked that question which makes sense.

      Delete
  14. My goodness they are completely renovating that house. I am sure it will look very nice when done, but why not just buy a house that was already what they wanted, instead of all the time and money to change this one? Jessa said it had "good bones" but I don't think she knows what that means. It is an ordinary, older home in need of a lot of work.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It's usually cheaper to buy a "fixer upper" and remodel it if you can do most of the work yourself. Probably what they are doing.

      Delete
    2. Maybe it was the house they wanted and that's why they bought it.

      Delete
    3. I think she does know what that means. It's better renovate because then you can get exactly how you want. And right now the market isn't good for house buying.

      Delete
    4. They're having family help with the remodel. In this crazy housing market, it's not easy to find a move-in ready home that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

      Delete
    5. Personally it's better to renovate because than you can have it exactly how you want it and it helps when you want to sell it in the future. These days, if you can find a house, it's going to need work anyway regardless the size and how good of a neighborhood it is which is sad. The prices of lumber, paint and appliances have gone up. People who sale houses and rent out don't want to pay for it. I don't blame them. It's only going to get worse from here. Here in the midwest, even those prices has gone up it's cheaper to rent a house than it is to rent an apartment now. A one bedroom apartment is $1,000+ a month. Just a ONE bedroom.

      Delete
    6. Homes that have been "flipped" are often done as cost-effective as possible, meaning lower quality. I'd rather do it myself and have it done my own way.

      Delete
    7. @8:32, that's exactly what I been doing. I am almost finished with my house but I had to wait to even put a fence up because the wood was through the roof.

      Delete
    8. Nothing wrong with renting an apartment! No yard work or outside house work to have to do. If something breaks it gets fixed. Not everyone has the time, desire or physical ability to take correct care of a stand alone house. Rent money goes toward the maintenance of those kind of things.

      Delete
    9. @8:32. $1000 a month for a one bedroom.. Wow! That is cheap! Here, you are lucky to find a one bedroom for under $2000 a month. Rent a house? Nope, those are rare and more expensive. With apartments, the rent includes heat. With houses, you have to pay for the heat and electricity. Here, houses are hard to find. The cheapest on sale now is a small 3 bedroom row house for $350K. It is very dated with condo fees of $500 a month.

      Delete
    10. 10:15, the only problem with apartments is that if you get a careless neighbor that sets their house on fire... it effects you too. I seen way to many tragedies.

      Delete
    11. 3:52 That's my fear about living in apartments D:

  15. Good job they got a house double the size as the old house had half the space needed for a family of six, but as they grow their family as Jessa has stated she is letting God decide on the size of their family, are they going to sell up and upgrade again or add more extentions, that is the dilemma!

    2. It is the same as what they did in the last house. They are constantly behind the curve because they have kids too fast for the space they can provide. It saddens me for the kids growing up in these inadequate spaces. It can stunt them mentally and physically.

      Delete
    3. 10:33 AM - Oh that is so untrue. That house they had was perfectly fine. I work with children that lived in a bad homes, I know what true "inadequate spaces" are and that's not it.

    4. 10:33 - Are you very well educated in childhood development? Nope. Clearly not judging by your comment.

    5. There's nothing wrong, again people trying to say stuff which means 10 33 probably doesn't have inadequate living spaces or didn't grow up in a good home. Sad to say and sorry to put it out there. But I found that people who says stuff about the Duggars always turns out they are talking about themselves to make them feel better.

    1. I thought so too, but then realized there were dates on the video - that was from last summer.

    2. Since you all are kids, you have to be, you need to tell your parents/guardians to teach you that it's not okay to ask anyone if they are pregnant or say that someone look pregnant. It's offensive and those type of comments have hurt people that ended up starving themselves over stuff like that.

      Delete
    3. I agree it's rude when it's not obvious and it could be either weight gain or baby. However, the poster was referring to a shot that showed Jessa was obviously pregnant or some strange reflection issue. What I saw was she was her reflection and she looked far along in her pregnancy. Then when I realized she couldn't be that far a long based on Fern's birthdate I realized that part of the video must have been from a while back. Anyway, it's not rude, when it's third trimester and that obvious.

    10. 11:13 lol. I can read you like a book. First off that's not crowded. Second that comment tells me you are a CPS caller over custody reasons. Why? I work for CPS and the first thing custody battling parents do is say "they have no room for reach child". They say they have to have a room for reach child but realistically you need a bed for each child. Siblings can share a room. You have to have a set up for them and a safe house. That's all we care about.

  42. Much of this work needs to be permitted and inspected by the County Building Code Inspectors. Who has the professional licenses for this work? Certainly Jessa's brothers do not have that. Is a "sweet friend" helping?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. They are doing that lol... Why do you think they aren't? Why do people think the Duggars don't know anything about this. They did everything the right way, even when they had their big house built. It doesn't take a genius to know this.

      Delete
    2. The Duggars always seem to have friends who do most of the work. I'm not sure how they get all that help. I've always had to PAY for any work I had done on my house.

      Delete
    3. My son is a senior project manager and works on building renovations. Instead of going to college and then working several years in the field to reach that position he should have just bought a smart phone like Jessa did. lol

    4. My friend's a structural engineer. Guess he wasted those college years too.

      Delete
    5. 9:13 AM - How do you know if they are or aren't paying? You must been to their house. Tell me everything! I'm waiting.

      Delete
    6. Why does it matter to you though? That's a bit strange for you to be this invested. Yes, they are showing their home but you are asking personal questions that not a normal person would ask unless you are the one living in the house. And how do you know it's not permitted? You don't know, just like you don't know and haven't done your research on Jessa's brothers. They are very qualified with their experience. You don't need a professional license to do great work. There is a higher chance of something going wrong with a professional licensed person. The odds are not good my friend. And since it's not your house, don't worry about it. Oh no you are one of those stalkers that thinks the Duggar's know you and you are moving inside their house lol.

      Delete
    7. It's very creepy @4:53. I don't understand the concern over rather they have a permit or not. I am sure they do. I swear people do this to make them sound so superior and they think the Duggars can't do anything.

  45. I hope the renovation don't turn out like some of those new home edition neighborhoods where they build them so fast they fall apart fast.

  46. My guess is that carport was probably not to code therefore not able to enclose into the new master bedroom. I certainly hope they checked for permits first, gotten new ones, and do all new work to code. The boy helpers are not qualified for all of that. They need contractors, and professional ones and site managers, not jusr Jessa eith a csmeraphone.

    1. Where do you come up with that guess? And I am pretty sure they did get permits. People act like the Duggars are children or more so they probably do that to make themselves sound smarter lol.

    2. And you know this under what educational grounds? Do you know them? Do you speak to them? Have you been on this property?

      Delete
    3. Are you educated in this? What right do you have to say the guys (not boys) are not qualified despite their knowledge, skills and experience in renovating and selling houses in Arkansas? Not just for their family and friends, they've done work with their father who was in real estate. You can work in real estate, be a contractor and work in construction with just a high school diploma. You know that right? These guys been learning and working in this type of field since they was kids which are the best ones. They have more experience, so to say they are not qualified you would have to show me literal receipts and you would probably have to know them personally.

    5. Why can’t you just congratulate them on the new house!

It’s not called permits it’s called inspections. You obviously have no idea what you’re talking about.

    6. You are not qualified to say they are not qualified. You clearly haven't been following long.

    7. I agree. I well remember Joe doing electrical work on his house a few years ago. Scary thought.

    8. Calling Jason a boy helper is rude. He has developed skills and started his own construction business. He has been working at this a while and is hardly a boy helper. I don't live in their area so I have no idea how good he is or how many projects he has under his belt. However, it's clear he has had experience and knows how to do many things in construction.

      Delete
    9. He has experience, or is he licensed? Did he study somewhere and then pass the state exams? There's a big difference between someone who has done some projects and someone who is licensed in a trade.

      Delete
    10. 9:10 They know this about Jason, they are just spreading lies and trying to downgrade them like they always do.

    11. 1:54, first you get permits which cost several hundreds of dollars then the inspectors inspect the work as it progresses & either approve the work, shut down the site if there are gross violations or mandate changes made to bring the work up to code. So yes, permits are part of the process & I feel certain they did get permits. If no permits are obtained then there are no inspections, however doing non permitted work can lead to a whole set of very expensive problems.

      Delete
    12. 9:54 PM - Right!

    13. 11:12 AM - Oh yes, there is a big difference. I trust someone who is more experienced than someone that pass the state exams. That's the probably, theres a way around it and pass the exams with no real experience. That's how you end up with botched jobs. It happens to commonly lately.

    14. @1:54 Where I live, you have to get a building permit before you start work on certain home remodeling projects, especially when you're adding on or changing the structure. The work then has to be inspected. We had to do this when having a deck built.

      Delete
    15. Where I live in Virginia, not only do you have to get permits in advance of the work, but the permits have to be prominently displayed to the public on the house/building during the construction/renovation process, and the work has to be regularly inspected at specific intervals along the way. Failure to do any of the above can result in heavy fines and the loss of professional licenses.

      Delete
    16. But why is it any concern of anyone you? @6:30 AM. What makes you think they didn't get a permit? You got to be one of those nosy neighbors that calls on your neighbors constantly just out of jealousy to make sure they have permits as I am sure they do. These Duggar kids are grown and are adults now. You don't have to baby them.

  47. Get mad that they are doing the house themselves. It's so weird to get mad over something they know a LOT of about. If you want your house renovated, hire who ever you want. If it bothers you, than leave. Simple as that. You probably don't even know how to change a lightbulb and you are mad at yourself lol. Take your drama somewhere else.

    1. I have learned from other social media account that these people are like that. What they are mad about and try to make the Duggar's sound like they don't know how to do anything is the ones that can't do it themselves. It's toxic jealousy and they may not realize that's what it is.

    2. You should see how toxic tiktok is and that's where a lot of these new people on this website is coming from. A lot of them never actually watched the show, just a few short clips and opinions from tiktokers.

  48. I am wheezing over some of these comments. Look here, I hired so called professionals with a 5 star rating to build onto my house, repaint and put down hardwood floors that ended with a huge crack in the wall in my living room. The section they added on was also not built properly and had to be redone because they didn't add insulation and the beams was so loose and unsteady. I found that good handy people seem to be the ones like the Duggars who learned a trade when they was just kids helping their father build their house. They had more years than these so called professionals these days that does a quick job. So don't sit here behind a computer always trying to put these people down for having help from their family members and friends when you don't know their knowledge and capabilities. You act like they can't do anything. It's every single post. I almost feel sorry for you because people like you all seem to have miserable lives. You must do this to help boost yourself up when ever you need to make yourself feel better. The very house you are living in right now depending on the year that it was built was probably built by men who started out just like some of these Duggar boys. And you be surprised by some of the history you can find that a lot of men only had education up until the 8th grade. Who are you to judge them on how they do work? You put your lives out there too everyday you step outside in the real world or though I question if you get out at all. Even Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. Including this site. You have a platform too. Once you put yourself on the internet, you are no different than the Duggars. Maybe that's the problem. Someone is judging you or you feel like you are being judged because really you probably have nothing. That hurts doesn't it? Now it's time to grow up now. This is so childish and tiring.

    1. The people on here is laughable when they are obviously mad the Duggar's are a jack of all trades. I'll give them the business number to a so called professionals that tried to install my inground pool and didn't know what in the world they was doing. Unfortunately, they are no longer in business. I can't imagine why lol.

    2. There are unscrupulous characters in any profession and just because someone is licensed in the building trades does not guarantee quality work. You have to do more than just look at reviews and star ratings, because those are not always reliable. Whether or not the Duggars are licensed to do the remodeling is unknown. I hope they are. Just because they're a Duggar does not guarantee they do quality work, either.

      Delete
    3. 6:40 AM - But everything a Duggar does, people have to poo all over them. They act like they can't do anything without actually seeing for themselves. That's the problem right here. It makes me wonder if they do that to people outside the internet. They must of grew up with parents that told them they couldn't do anything.

      Delete
    4. The Duggars are licensed @6:40 but nobody said "they will do good work because they are Duggars." People are standing up to the people who are treating them like they don't know any better and asking weird stuff like "do they have a permit?" or "most of that needs a permit". Wow, who said they didn't know? And who's right is it to know that? They are just showing their house and announcing they are renovating it. What makes this weird is that nobody in the right mind would ask a family member or a friend who is renovating if they have a permit.

  49. Some of you act like you know them personally. How do you know the Duggar men can't do this? lol. You guys are hypocrites talking about them when you all probably don't know that when you take your car to a professional educated and seasoned mechanic, there is a high chance that they never even got a degree and was hired in by their skills and how long they've worked on cars. The majority of the time they are not listing their education on their website just "experience". A lot of the men at the shop I work for didn't get a degree. Usually it's the guys with the degrees you have to look out for because they think they are hot shots but still don't have enough experience working on cars and machines. Do you ask your mechanics if they have degrees? Did you ask your real estate agent if they have a college education? Because most actually don't. Do you make sure your contractor has a college education? Because again, a lot of them don't. They list on their cards and websites "experience". You get most your experience learning on your own. Did you ask your local bank to make sure they all had college degrees since they are dealing with your money? Nope. And you don't need a college education for that and my cousin got two story 4 bedroom 3 & half bathroom house just on that salary alone. Imagine that. Did you ask your local police department if they have education above high school? Did you ask your mother/father or ever use to make you dinner & birthday cakes when you was younger if they had a degree in culinary? Because only what you consider "pro" have to be highly educated, right? How did our parents learn to cook? Learning on their own majority of the time or even if they was taught by their parents, none of that came from some kind of defined college. You have Giada on Food Network who went to school in Paris using BOXED CAKE MIX. How she got a show I will never know. What about when you get out to restaurants? Do you make sure all the cooks have degrees before you eat there? Nope. Likely not and they don't list their education in the ads and websites. The studying doctor and nurses in college was pulled before they even graduated because of the pandemic. They didn't finish their education and was trying to save lives. The same people that probably helped you or someone you know. But since we are going by education and qualification, that's not good enough for you is it? Despite all that they have done. It doesn't matter that some of them was about to graduate anyway, no, it still doesn't count according to you. Don't try to switch it up. You are hypocritical.

    2. @9:45. No one is suggesting that building contractors or other people working in the skilled trades should have college degrees. However, if I hire someone to do any kind of work in my home, whether an electrician, carpenter, plumber, etc., I make sure they are fully licensed and insured. I think that's what some folks were questioning, whether or not the Duggar boys are licensed to do the work required for home remodeling.

      Delete
    3. Wow. You appear very upset. However, I think you are missing the point many people are making regarding the Duggars. Due to their lack of formal training in the building trades, people are concerned about the work being done on the new house. I think the concerns are legitimate. If the walls are not structurally sound they may collapse on the occupants of the house, if the electricity isn't installed properly it may catch fire, the plumbing won't work as needed, etc. There's no way to tell if the Duggars have the knowledge of building codes so people are concerned.

    4. When I go to a doctor I would like a person with a real education.

      Delete
    5. You are so right OP! People think even if you have a real education, you are highly skilled. It doesn't mean anything to me after my experience with so called professionals. These days they don't care bad students grades are they just pass them.

      Delete
    6. I find your comparisons strange. Cooking is not like building or remodeling a house which people are going to LIVE in. If the recipe doesn't taste good it harms no one. As for the doctor. I want to be treated by a doctor who has completed their education and is authorized by the state I live in to treat patients not someone who "is trying to help" without any authority to do so.

      Delete
    7. You both are missing the point @6:26 & @10:30. Why do people question everything the Duggar's do? Why do they think they are always doing something wrong education and job wise? And it's mystery how people think they have no knowledge in this either when they do. You have to be new here.

      Delete
    8. @10:30 I'm no Duggar groupie, but we don't know for certain how much training they've had so it's absurd to assume anything. Home remodeling requires permits and inspections, so it stands to reason the Duggars comply. The Seewalds are going to be living in this home and it makes sense that they want it safe and in compliance with building codes and standards. That strangers are supposedly "concerned" is rather disingenuous. It's more like they're just hoping the Duggars fail.

  52. Jason Duggar's LLC construction company is listed with the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board. HIs classification is: Light Building - (Commercial & Residential), Remodeling, Renovations, Restoration, Alterations, and he's subject to a bid limit. His license expires at the end of March. Requirements for this license are: Complete basic education, HS or GED; have construction experience; complete the application; gather three references; pass the Arkansas Business and Law Exam; prepare financial documents, including proof of insurance, CPA report and $10,000 contractor's bond. Anyway, being a licensed and bonded building contractor does not guarantee someone is skilled, or will do a good job for you. No one from the state is going to evaluate your expertise, rather they're concerned with having the i's dotted and the t's crossed on the paperwork and making sure fees are paid.

    1. A $10,000 Contractor's Bond isn't going to help or come close to touching a contractor's/builder's mistake or cost overruns on a project. *shaking my head* For reference, my brother is a Class A licensed contractor: $50,000 bond requirement, minimum 5 years individual experience, and licensed for residential and commercial construction. My state has no issue going after contractors/builders/sub-contractors for faulty work.

      Delete
    2. 7:23 I don't know where you saw that, but that sounds like a business license. If you search on the Arkansas Contractor Licensing Board's page under "Find a Licensed Contractor," and use the name Duggar, or Jason Duggar, or Jason Duggar LLC, you come up with no search results, no licensed contractor in the state of Arkansas with the last name Duggar. If you search by county, you get the same results, zero.

      Delete
    3. Exactly. Anyone can get a contractor's license with little experience in construction. They simply have a license to do business.

    4. This was last year so they are near finished.

    5. So no real building degree or education is needed?

  53. Having seen the Duggar guys working on projects such as Jana's greenhouse I can see why people are expressing concern about their work on the new house. They didn't come across as being knowledgeable or very skilled in construction work.
