    3. @7:14pm, Neddy was referring to the haters who write nasty comments not all fans, she meant the reason haters write nasty or offensive comments is likely because they are envious, personally I think she's right, I know they are going through a tough patch so they are not envious of their life but their outlook and beliefs that they use to guide them to live a life based on the Bible therefore doing their best to be good people and live by God's example, and before anyone mentions Josh, well every family has a black sheep who doesn't want to go by family rules, alright most families.

      Delete
    4. Dont categorize not following rules as a LOT of kids/family members do with what Josh is charged with!!!!!

      Delete
    5. I agree 3:36! "It's OK because everyone has a black sheep" is not an excuse for anything!

    1. Wishing you were part of a dynamic duo? I have been married for 34 years and admire people who honour their vows and each other. Marriage is hard, you should be kind.

    2. They birthed 19 children together. That's pretty dynamic!

    3. @7:31 Have you been treated badly in your life? I can find fault with plenty of things the Duggars say and do, however I draw the line with attacking personal appearance for any reason.

    4. Ya'll please don't respond to the troll. Just want to stir up junk.

    5. A good trim is nice to freshen things up, but these are old pictures. For all we know she just had it trimmed (or maybe it's not that important to her, which is ok too).

    6. Nah, she only “needs” a haircut if she wants a haircut.

"Bridal hair dresser": You need a haircut.
Someone stands out here, but not in a good way.

    8. No, she needs a good haircut. Her and Jessa also. But, like someone posted above these are old pictures and maybe she already did.

    9. When are we going to talk about Jinger's haircut? Is that allowed?

    10. @3:56 isn't it cute? A couple of the other Duggar girls should copy it.

  12. Happy Anniversary Jim Bob and Michelle! I had to laugh at the second picture of Jim Bob and Michelle, although they look so good and happy, Michelle who is my age is standing alongside Jim Bob in the snow with her jacket zipped halfway down and it reminded me of how it is with my husband and I in the freezing cold with him all zipped up and my jacket zipped halfway down due to menopausal hot flashes. Yep, the time of your life where riding in the back of a freezer truck with the frozen goods sounds better then riding in a limo.LOL

  16. Yes, they have been through a lot in these 37 years. Better and worse, rich and poor, sickness and health........And still are. They're being quiet on social media, and I don't blame them. Let's keep praying for them; there is and will be much more to it

  17. Happy #37 years in a faithful, God-centered marriage!
In a world that sees traditional marriage and family as irrelevant, I want to thank you both for being a persistent example of what God's Marriage looks like -- faithful with each other, and faithfully devoted to God! That's the only way to a truly happy union.

    God bless!!!

  18. Hope they had a fantastic anniversary! 37 years is something to celebrate plus 19 children with raising Tyler thats 20! Lets be real for all of those who think they have something ruse, aweful to comment its very hard to raise 1 child or 3 or 4 with good morals, to live righteous life, they have raised 19 plue Tyler 20. With only 1 having had problems and may I remind everyone the jury isn't in yet on that case. As a Christian woman I am impressed with the amount of love and joy thats in their home. The standards they set be example, the way Michelle never raises her voice and most of all the love her and Jim Bob share!!!
Its NOT my place to judge anyone on this Earth, who am I? May God bless them, keep them safe and for many more years of happiness between them. Happy Anniversary.

  19. I wonder if they're vaccinated, and their adult kids too - given the danger to the huge number of under-12s in their extended family, and Arkansas being one of the most backward states when it comes to vaccination. It also happens to be a state with an alarming number of kids in hospital with covid. Have they ever talked of their vaccination status?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I hope none of them are pregnant or trying to get pregnant and aren't vaccinated. If you end up with the Delta variant while pregnant and you haven't been vaccinated, it's going to be a nightmare. The original strain was bad enough for pregnant women, but this strain is worse.

    2. Their medical history is NONE of your business.

      Delete
    3. @3:09 True. Placental problems, and they are having to deliver babies early via C-section when moms are in the ICU with Covid.

      Delete
    4. 3:09, I would be more concerned about getting vaccinated while pregnant.

      Delete
    5. I would be more concerned with getting a hospital bill after being treated for Covid. Do you know what those are running insured people? Good Morning America is doing a story on it, it's become such a nationwide crisis. Free vaccines or millions in medical bills? Easy choice.

    6. I guess having babies, getting wisdom teeth out, gagging while jogging, and having seizures should have been none of our business either.

      Delete
    7. Haha, I definitely could have done without the gagging. But the rest was fine.

  20. The "two straws in one drink" is just so corny.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. What is corny to you may be sweet and romantic to someone else. What you think is sweet and romantic might be repugnant to one of us. There is room in this world for us all to be free to enjoy different things.

    2. @2:55 I agree. Look at us, we're two kids in looooooove.

    3. I guess the thing I find slightly amusing is the need some people (couples, as well as just singles) to engage in an endless round of posting pictures of themselves. "Look at me and my wife sipping a drink with one straw", "See me and my wife stand in the snow on a mountain", "See us [fill in a location]", and on and on and on. It's not just the Duggars; it's countless of thousands of other people. Why? What did people do with their lives and their time before cell phones, the internet, and Instagram/Twitter/Facebook/Snapchat/Tiktok? It just seems so shallow, self-centered, self-promoting and not at all the humble, modest (of which clothing is a small part), quiet, tending to our ouwn households, Godly lives we're instructed to be living. I'd find the first pic to be way more authentic if they were actually looking deeply into each other's eyes instead og hamming for the camera. Better yet, if someone honestly just captured an authentic quiet couple moment of them holding hands crossing the parking lot at the local grocery store.

    4. Their relationship, their right to be sappy or corny or anything else, really.

    5. I agree with Aug. 1 9:12. I remember when we used to look at each other in person and talk to each other in real life, not through pictures online. Pictures were printed and sent in Christmas cards or put in an album shared with only a few people. Nobody was obsessed with taking a picture of every meal they ate, every coffee they drank, every outfit they wore, or all the other mundane and pointless things they take pictures of now. The ones who crave the most attention and validation seem to put the most pictures online. In that way, it's sad.

      Delete
    6. @9:12 I agree. Somehow, I managed to survive growing up and a good share of my adulthood before technology and social media took over. A telephone was something that hung on the wall and you used a rotary dial to make a call. (Before that, you simply picked up the receiver and the operator made the call for you.) Our form of social media was something called a "party line". We shared lines with the neighbors, so you could pick up the phone and hear their conversations. (As a kid, I'd get the gossip by eavesdropping.) You had to wait until they were finished to make a call. We also hear everyone elses' rings. Our was one long and two short. The parsonage down the road was two short rings. You had to pay attention! If we had to go back to that, people wouldn't be able to cope!

      Delete
    7. @10:34 Eavesdropping on a party line was a social faux pas back then! It was tempting (LOL) but you were supposed to hang up immediately if you heard someone already on the line. What gets me today is how nobody can seem to wait anywhere (doctor's office, bank, etc.) without their noses buried in their phones! The people walking on sidewalks or in streets while looking at their phones instead of where they're going are worse. Are we losing our ability to cope with our surroundings by always "escaping" into phones? Are we letting our brains go soft by letting phones remember and do everything for us? I encountered a store clerk recently who couldn't figure out what 20% off a price was without pulling her phone out to calculate! Really? Adding 10% + 10% is 4th grade math, an easy mental task.

    8. Anonymous @ 10:34- Thank you so much for the memory! Your post reminded me of being little and visiting my aunt who lived in a tiny little town (village, really) and her party line telephone. My mom used to "remind" me not to play with her phone because it was a party line and someone might have an emergency. She also reminded me to pick it up and listen to make sure no one was on before I started running the dialer around. :) Also loved an elderly great-uncle who rescued an early wall "pay phone" and brought out gobs of coins when we came to visit. Uncle Francis let me make "calls" to my hearts content (filling up the coin box in the bottom, unlocking and emptying it- over and over as I made "calls" to pretend people), while my mom visited her aunt.
