Grand-Duggar #20 is a _____

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's 19th grandchild, Evangeline Jo Vuolo, arrived last week. Their 20th grandbaby is due in February 2021. Proud parents Joe and Kendra Duggar just shared the gender of their third child. Will Garrett and Addison be gaining a brother or a sister? Sister: It's a girl!

    1. Take your time changing the header, Lily and Ellie. You do such a good job. I’m able to wait. I’ve learned to be patient. -Love from Queenie Lovehart.

    2. I guess with 7 kids (one set of twins) you have to have patience.

    3. Perhaps she’ll change it when she gets around to it. I’ve never understood the obsession with having the header updated the minute a new baby comes along. Give it a rest.

    4. And it just takes a lot of time to shred quonce, also patience-building.

    5. Hello. This comment is for Anonymous November 2020 at 9:50pm. This is the real Queenie Loveheart please do not post comments as me! 😑 I do not appreciate it! It makes me sad. You have been harassing me for the past month now by posting comments as me and pretending to be me. The comment that was posted by by Anonymous November 30th at 4:25pm isn’t even me! My comments have my pen name if they are posted, as you can see. Lily and Ellie: there is somebody here on this blog who is posting comments pretending to be me. This has been going on for the past month now. They are now harassing me. Can you please do anything about this, so this person is made aware that they are harassing me??!!! P.S Lily and Ellie, I’m surprised you haven’t done anything about this. You’re still letting this person post comments and pretending to me on your blog and I am very disappointed about that!

    7. Don't worry, some astute readers here are onto the fact that the Queenie who signs her name at the end of the posts is fictional. Now if Ellie would catch on too and simply not post those comments...

    8. Actually I am the real Queenie Loveheart, who are all of you guys pretending to be me?

    9. Hello Queenie Loveheart December 5th, 2020 at 8:51 am. Here is the official real Queenie Loveheart. I am the person who came up with the name and if you need to see a picture I can post one. You all have been stealing my pen name and using it as your own pretending to be me!!! I came up with the name undo to the fact that I am a Harry Potter fan and my two favorite characters are Luna Lovegood and Queenie Goldstein!! You are all pretending to be me and bullying and I hate this!!! This blog shouldn’t even have comments if there are going to be people on here harassing other people by using their pen name over and over again. I am kindly asking everyone here today to please leave me alone and to stop using my pen name. I would hate to have to report you all for harassing me!!! It breaks my heart that the blog owners are even letting this happen. I am a young adult girl who is faced with many challenges in her life because I have a medical syndrome and a learning disability and You hear that and you still want to harass a young girl with disabilities?! That’s just not right! I have been picked on for my entire like because of them and I don’t need more people bullying me!!! Just think about that.

Well than later I saw a few comments that was signed Jane. It really doesn't bother me, I know which comments are mine, but probably will go back to clicking on Anonymous,it's just easier.

    3. 11 girls and 9 boys so there is no much difference at all.

      Delete
    4. LOL... The count is 9 boys to 11 girls, so it's pretty equal. For each couple it's also pretty equal. Josh/Anna have 3+3. Jessa/Ben 2+1. Jill/Derick have 2 boys. Joy 1+1. I wonder about Jeremy though, LOL, both are girls so far. Joe now is having his 3rd, so it;s just a tie-breaker, it will go to a boy on the 4th baby. And all eyes are now on John David and Josiah, who they will be having as a 2nd baby (eventually and hopefully soon).
I think in 2021 we will see several more Duggar grandkids. Jessa probably will have another. Justin and Claire will get married soon and I'd think they will have a baby right away. Probably Lauren and Josiah will have another one. Maybe Abbie too? And Anna is spacing her kids 2 years apart, time for a new baby at the end of 2021!

    9. Nah, they had a long stretch of boys for a while too.

      Delete
    10. Why can't you just celebrate a new life and not try to lay blame?!?!?!?! Nothing wrong with girls instead of boys!

      Delete
    11. Yes, let's just ignore that 9 of the 19 grandkids are boys and that there was only one granddaughter for years.

      Delete
    12. I love that there can't be a single discussion here without some mother hen types pointing out what someone said or thought was wrong, and then what they should have said or thought.

      Delete
    13. 10:53, where was I laying blame? I was just speculating about the girls baby spurt.

      Delete
    14. @5:57, it’s not about genetics, scientific research has proven that the X chromosome are bigger and stronger than the y. So this theory I suggested is completely plausible in anybody. There is a reason why many couples have all girls or all boys.

      Delete
    15. In statistics, when you expect a certain outcome even though the odds are always 50/50, it’s called “gamblers fallacy.” It doesn’t matter if you’ve had five boys in a row. The chances for either gender is still 50/50 for the sixth child.

      Delete
    16. Before all these girls there was a string of boys if you remember

      Delete
    17. Chances are not exactly 50-50. For every 100 girls born in the world, there are 105 boys born. So more like 51-49 for boy-girl chances.

    3. What is with the twin obsession on this blog?

  19. I can't imagine having 3 kids under age 3. Seems you'd be lost in a sea of dirty diapers and teething fussing and sleepless nights and nap schedules, times 3. Doesn't sound like there's any "me" time in there for Kendra, which is not healthy. A little family planning of some sort could have spaced the same number of kids out over a more reasonable time period.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. 12:36 Family planning isn’t their thing. They think contraception is somehow interfering with the will of God.

    2. He should give her a break. But they want a huge family

      Delete
    3. You have to schedule me time, but it's still doable. Joe just has to make sure it happens.

      Delete
    4. To every thing there is a season. This is her season to bear children and get the privilege of loving and raising them. Yes, “me” time must be sacrificed but that is a selfish concept anyways. It’s a blessing to pour yourself into the nurture of others.

      Delete
    5. Me time is a selfish concept? Obviously you don't know about mental health and caregiver burnout.

      Delete
    6. Scheduling time for yourself is most certainly not selfish at all!!!! It is necessary f and critical for good physical and mental health. If you do not care for yourself you will not be able to care for others!!!

      Delete
    7. Kendra unfortunately struggles with breastfeeding, something she’s only just started opening up about the poor dear. That is how Anna and Jessa have spaced their kids. Jessa had trouble with her supply with Spurgeon, thus the short gap between him and Henry, but breastfed Henry for an extended period as she is doing with Ivy. I suspect, although a number of other factors could also be involved, that Kendra’s trouble with breastfeeding while her kids are less than 6 months old, is why her 3 pregnancies have been so close together. Breastfeeding is not effective as birth control unless one feeds or pumps a minimum of once every 2-3 hours, including overnight, and it becomes even less reliable once a child starts eating solid foods and your supply decreases accordingly.

      Delete
    8. My parents had 3 under 3 and they were able to handle it fine! I agree that Kendra’s body needs a rest, but this is HER time to bear children and HER decision. I can’t wait to meet this little one!πŸ’•

      Delete
    9. Different strokes for different folks, OP. I have 2 under 2, and will hopefully have 3 under 3, and I don’t miss “me” time at all. I love every day with my babies...even the tough ones. Kendra might feel the same way. For what it’s worth, I am pro birth control and “worldly” by the Duggar’s standards.

      Delete
    10. 10:25, "me time" isn't an entirely selfish thing. Especially for introverted people, being around others constantly is mentally draining, most especially needy people like little children. "Me time" can be during daily devotions, taking a leisurely shower, even going to the store or doctor by yourself, believe it or not. Just that mental break is helpful. It took me a long time to recover from the effects of constant stress on my mind and body after my last child was born. I wouldn't go back and change having 5 kids. I would go back and make taking care of myself a bigger priority, because the long-term, stress-induced sickness was hard on my whole family for a long time.

      Delete
    11. I can’t imagine it either, that’s why I was one and done!

    3. My mom had four of us AFTER she turned 38 years old within about 4 and 1/2 years time. If the body weren't strong enough, she would not have conceived. But that does not mean it is not to space better. I am the oldest and the older of my two brothers was born only 1 year 3 days after I was. Mom was never able to do things individually with us. We were like quadruplets. I never liked that. Never treated like an older sister. There can be a lot of mental toll on the kids when they are too close. I remember Kendra saying that it was not easy for her to nurse. Maybe that is part of why they are so close.

    8. There was an episode of 19 Kids and Counting, back when Jill/Derick and Jessa/Ben, were still courting, where Michelle & Jim Bob, went to a fertility doctor, to find out if there was anything Michelle could be doing, to help prepare her body, for a pregnancy. During that episode, the fertility doctor, called Michelle to let her know, that her tests revealed, that Michelle, was starting to enter menopause. As this episode was filmed at least six years ago, I don't think it is very likely, that Michelle will be giving birth, to any more children.

  25. I just have to say that I love Kendra! She is by far my favorite Duggar! She is so sweet and kind, and she has an amazing personality. I am so happy for them both!

So, this will make 20 grandchildren in Duggar land.. I predcit that number will double- 40 grandchildren- in 5 years. I think that all of the eight current married couples will have 1-3 more ( with most having two) kids within 5 years, as well as a few other couples who will be tying the knot. In the marriage department, I predict that Justin and Jed will both be married in 2021; and James, Jer, Jason, and maybe Jana, will be be married within another year or two. And that will result in more grandchildren.. So, like I said, the number of grandkids will double to 40 in 5 years..

  27. With so many grandbabies and the younger Duggars growing up fast, I wonder what can happen in a few years. Now Justin moved out, twins moved out, I think James is still living at home, then Jackson, Tyler and 4 younger girls. Fast forward 5 years from now. Jackson will be 21, Johannah 20. They most probably will be married and out of the house. Jennie will be 18, so who knows, maybe she will be dating someone too. That would leave Tyler, Jordyn and Josie. 3-4 kids in this huge house who at that time will be driving teens. I wonder if at some point maybe some of the kids will just move into the big house?

  30. They could name her Christelle, it would be a combination of the name Christina and the name Michelle. I think Kendra's mom is named Christina. So it would be after both grandmas. I'm not sure if that name would be too unusual for them or not.
