3 Seewalds

We realized it has been a while since we have posted a picture of the three Seewald children. Spurgeon turns five in exactly seven weeks, Henry is three-and-a-half, and Ivy is almost 16 months.

    3. Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Baby bee pregnancy photo. What does Ben do for a living? At one point they said he was still in school, but for what? How can they afford a big family?

    4. It is with the Duggars. Their show is about getting as many childeren as possible. Jessa looks pregnant.

    5. Because people usually share baby announcement photos without actually, oh, announcing the pregnancy? 😄

  3. Cute kids. About time for another pregnancy announcement from Jessa.

    1. I think Ben gets stressed out, I hope Jessa plans to stop after 3 or 4 children.

    2. Jessa is her own person. She doesn’t have to have 19 children to be happy.

    1. seriously? Ivy has a shirt on as well as a diaper,or shorts. there is nothing immodest about the innocence in this picture

    2. What about Henry?

    3. Good grief...she's only 16 months old!

    4. She’s one! You’re lucky she’s wearing any clothes at all!

    5. Ivy isn’t yet 16 months old, it’s absolutely ridiculous to talk about her modesty at such a young age. No I’m not as strictly religious as a lot of people on this blog & don’t adhere to such vehemently strict modesty rules, however to me talking about a toddlers modesty is simply ridiculous & seems very wrong to me.

      Delete
    6. Are you serious? A baby should be dressed modest???

      Delete
    7. She’s a baby.

      Delete
    8. How in the world can a baby be immodest?!

      Delete
    9. Modesty, as defined by the Bible, is meekness, humility, and not thinking more highly of yourself than you ought. Since Ivy is a 1-year-old baby, it’s impossible for her to practice immodesty. If what you mean is that her baby thighs aren’t covered to your preference, then say that. But let me warn you, imposing those rules on a baby kind of makes you sound like a pedophile.

    10. Oh for heaven's sakes, I can't believe that people think to come up with comments like this! It's a cute picture of three little siblings together and most people would never see anything beyond that!

    11. I think the OP is a troll, so just ignore. That being said, I don't post my kids on social media. I'm told by people in the know that bad people can use the photos and photoshop them all kinds of ways.

      Delete
    12. @3:05, you're kidding right? It's a cute picture of 3 siblings. How can a baby be modest? Don't make an issue where none exists.

    13. I absolutely agree with u they are adorable in this picture its sweet if a person has nothing nice to say they should keep it to themselves my goodness with everything thats going on now a days say nice stuff not ruid thats why they signed it with no name well I'm glad all the other comments were nice shameful for people to say awful things on such a eautifuk picture

They are only trying to get you riled up, just ignore it.

    19. 3:05 I agree that I would be better to put some pants or shirt on Ivy. But at that age, I am not so sure that I would say modesty may be the reason. It is one thing to let the babies walk around inside the house in diapers with no outer clothing. This is OUTSIDE. Personally I just prefer to see the babies and toddlers at this age fully clothed, ESPECIALLY FOR A PICTURE. So, I agree that it would be much better for them to be fully clothed. This seems to be a trend to let them run around in diapers. To me, it seems like she is not fully dressed and that Mom does not want to fully take of details.
Maybe Jessa just forgot a spare set of clothes.

    20. She is a baby give me a break.

      Delete
    21. I don't know why anyone would let their baby sit pantless or skirtless or shortless in diapers on a dirty public curb with their bare feet in a filthy gutter. She could get cut by glass or something or step on bees and get stung, or who knows what.

      Delete
    22. 4:14, that’s common knowledge not just known by a few “in the know” people

      Delete
    23. 9:35, she is fully dressed. It's a little piece with short legs. How about we stop judging Mom? Honestly!

  8. I love these candid photos of the children. Kids just being kids. No poses ... just 3 adorable siblings having a snack in the beautiful outdoors. Ivy with her little bare feet ... so sweet! I admire the Seewald's parenting skills ... Seems so relaxed and natural. Keep posting these great pics. Love them!

  15. Yikes! Another choking hazard for the kids?

    1. I agree - those kids are all too young to be eating popcorn!!!!!!!!!!

      Delete
    2. We ate popcorn when we were that young, no one ever choked ever, Jessa/Ben are very careful parents!!!!

      Delete
    3. Justine you may have not choked but many young children have. That’s why pediatricians say not to give popcorn to children as young as Ivy. I never died while not wearing a seatbelt back in the 60’s but that doesn’t mean no one did. No matter how careful you are, babies can get choked. Why take the risk?

      Delete
    4. We ate popcorn too.

      Delete
    5. There's a long list of foods you shouldn't give toddlers because of choking hazards. Unfortunately, even "careful" parents have children who choke. It happens quickly. I remember choking on some candy as a kid and it scared the daylights out of me.

  16. Beautiful children and they all have curly hair, didn't get that from their parents must be from aunt Jinger isn't she the only Duggar with naturally curly hair.

    1. One if the boys has curly hair; Jed maybe?

      Delete
    2. Jessa has curly hair. Jinger used to perm her hair, other than that Jinger's hair is straight, no curls.

      Delete
    3. Jessa has curly hair as a child, and you don’t receive genetics from your aunts/uncles, that comes from your grandparents

      Delete
    4. Maybe Ben's hair is curly, but you can't see it because it's short. Jessa's could be curly as well. Being that long it's weighed down, but probably if she cut it at shoulder length it would be curlier.

      Delete
    5. 10:50, Jinger does actually have curly hair, she just straightens it now

      Delete
    6. 4:18 The kids' grandmother Michelle has curly hair. In one show she had a makeover and she had it straightened, but has since gone back to her curly hair. Aunt Josie has curly hair.

    1. What announcement? Are they expecting? How do you all know this?

      Delete
    2. No one knows anything 9:04, the place where Jessa got the cute little shirts from also have one that says “baby bee” so some people think Jessa bought these and also has that one and is planning an announcement. However I don’t think Jessa would have posted a picture of them wearing the shirts before using them in an announcement photo, so even if she is pregnant that’s probably now how they’ll do an announcement.

  22. They all look cute. Each one looks different in looks, but still look like siblings. I don't like being critical of Spurgeon, but he needs to lose the mop of curls. It makes him look like a little girl. I love boys with curls but his looks unruly terribly. He needs to get a haircut like his dad Ben. Ivy looks like Spurgeon in some ways. She looks like a cute little tomboy sort of girl in a good way having 2 older bros. Just needs a bow in her hair to look more girly.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. She already has a bow in her hair in this photo. But not all girls wear bows. Not having a bow doesn't make you less of a girl.

      Delete
    2. I love Spurgeon’s curls! I’ve always been a sucker for curly headed guys though.

  23. Why is Ivy barefoot in a parking lot? This is not using good sense. That girl could step on anything not to mention having filthy feet.

    1. I wholeheartedly agree! The boys have shoes on. Why not the girl?

    2. Or her mom set her down for a picture.

  24. Be thankful they have good, godly parents. I saw a post online where a five month old had been neglected so badly; that the mom went to sleep while the "so called" father and uncle were throwing the baby up
letting it hit the ceiling and fall
to the floor. I guess I don't have to tell you the outcome.

    1. They probably said she wasn't dressed modestly because she's not. It is simply a statement of fact, not an opinion.

      Delete
    2. 10:04 it isn’t a fact that this BABY girl is dressed immodestly. Only people with their minds in the gutter would think so.

  28. Why does everyone, think thoughts about Jessa+Ben's parenthood, Jessa+Ben are not stuffy with their kids!!!! I've seen lots of their family, and Jessa+Ben are always safety proving their house. Jessa even got rid of their coffee tables, because of that!!! She+He, is doing her best for Henry, and I know she/He is!!! BE KIND!!!!!!

I've been watching The Duggar's since 2007, OK, I've seen that Girl, turn into a Mother, OK, no I understand that, but Jessa, took care of sooooo many things at The Duggar's exp, schooling, laundry, packing, taught all her sibs' music, and she took care of the upkeep too!!!! Watch the old 18 Kids, and counting watch her, she can handle loads of things at once. Do U ever watch her vlog, see how, she takes care of her kids!!!!!! She is just not stuffy, so people think she does not care, but she does, and her kids love her like crazy!!!! Sperg looks at her Mother, like she is his hero!!!! Ben too, Sperg just thinks the world of Ben, and all 3 of his kids look up to him. They don't walk on water, but they are close, lol, but almost.Have a great day, but lay off Jessa!!!!
