Jennifer's 13th Birthday Celebration

As we shared yesterday, Jennifer Duggar just turned 13 years old! She is the 17th Duggar child, which means it won't be long before Jim Bob and Michelle only have teenage children and adult children. We think Jennifer looks like Jana in this new photo, taken at her birthday celebration.

  4. Wonder where they are. That's not the property around their house. Those are tall southern pine trees in the background. Hope the Duggars are keeping to themselves and keeping their distance from others. Are they in Texas at Big Sandy?

    1. Those trees do look like the piney woods at the Big Sandy IBLP property. My parents belonged to the church that orginally owned that campus, where they operated a college. I remember we attended a big convention there back in the 1960's and camped among those trees. It was miserably hot and the spiders looked like something out of a horror movie! Coming from the north country, it was my first visit to Texas.

    2. I think we all know they have not been socially distancing.

    3. So IBLP conference in Big Sandy happened recently so it’s very possible this is from there.

    4. Hmmm.... question for all you social distancing police -- have any of them come down with Covid?

    5. @12:49 Jill had to get tested. If the others have been tested, I'm sure they wouldn't share the results, especially not if it would have an effect on their show. Getting Covid is not always something to be proud of or to announce. There is HIPAA privacy.

It's possible the Duggars have been exposed. It's possible they would test positive. It's also possible that they could be asymptomatic and spreading it to others in the family or others at these events. That's why people need to social distance whether they positive or negative. We're trying to STOP the spread, not give the virus a chance to infect others. That means staying home and staying very separate. That means not being out in public without a mask.

You really don't know if you've "come down" with Covid unless you get tested all the time. You could have a negative test then stop somewhere on the way home from the test and get exposed. You'd also need antibody testing to see if you've had it without symptoms. If so, you were infectious at some point. Maybe someone caught it from you then.

The governor of Ohio just tested positive. He had no idea he was carrying the virus. He got a routine test because he was supposed to meet with Trump. He said he doesn't know where he got the virus, he thought he had been careful, and he thought he had worn a mask when he was supposed to. Yet he still tested positive. Something went wrong.

It doesn't take much to be exposed, and just as little to spread it. This is not the year to be social.

    6. or..the tests could be fake

    7. ACTUALLY the Governor of Ohio had a false positive test and when he was tested later a 2nd time he was negative and fine so maybe some of those other positives aren't true either

      Delete
    8. The day after it was announced that the governor of Ohio tested positive, it was announced that a second test was negative.

    9. The fact that the governor had to get tested at all tells you a lot. He either was somewhere he shouldn't have been, or was about to be somewhere he shouldn't have been. People isolating at home aren't the ones getting tested.

    10. 6:48, I believe he was tested before a meeting with the President, something done as a precaution, not because of the reasons you brought up.

  11. Happy Birthday, Jennifer!
It looks like they'll be eating some fun treats at her party. Enjoy!

  12. Jennifer has Michelle's nose, out of all daughters. Jana has different nose and like longer face. They definitely might have similar face expressions as they probably spend a lot of time together.

  13. She does look a lot like Jana...but I feel like even more like Johannah maybe🤔

  14. She sure does. Seems that the four younger girls resemble their 5 older sisters in some way except sort of Josie. Since Josie was born preemie, she looks unique in her own way but has the Duggar blond hair and natural curls that some of the girls have.

  16. personally, i think jennifer is going to be the most stunning of all the duggar girls. i mean they are all beautiful but by the time she's an adult, i can imagine she'll have many would-be suitors to give jim-bob nore gray hairs

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Maybe by the time she grows up, she'll decide to do something with her life besides being pursued by many suitors!

      Delete
    2. Little girls are much much more valuable than how they look and especially more valuable than how many suitors they can line up. What horrible things to say about a girl.

      Delete
    3. It’s a shame that you place so much emphasis on physical attractiveness and go so far as to compare the Duggars daughters in that capacity, and that it’s suitor-bait. Would you do the same with the males, compare their levels of handsomeness?

    4. The op is just sharing a thought. Why do people have to jump on other people so much?

    5. I always thought saying this kind of thing was a compliment. Don't know why anyone would be offended.

  17. Isn't Josie already 11 years old? That means that they already have only teenage and adult children.

Or do Americans have a different defenition of a teenager?

    1. The term teenager is used for ages 13-19.

      Delete
    2. I think most Americans consider 13 to be the beginning of the teenage years.

      Delete
    3. Thirteen is considered a teenager in America. 11, 12, and sometimes 10 are considered “preteens”

      Delete
    4. Teen age starts when your age has a "teen" in it, which is 13.

      Delete
    5. 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 official teenagerd

    6. In the U.S., the teenager years start at age 13.

    7. 11 and 12 are considered preteen and 13 and up are teens. At least that's how it was for me, 17 years ago

    8. 13 is when you become a teenager what i thought everywhere. I'm in Australia by the way.

      Delete
    9. 11 isn't a teen here. Only the "teens" are teens, starting with thirteen.

      Delete
    10. A teenager is from 13 to 19 years of age. Jordan is 11 and Josie is 10.

      Delete
    11. Teenagers are from thirteen to nineteen, notice that the numbers have “teen” in them. Ten to twelve are Pre-teen from what I remember. Jordyn and Josie are both Pre-teens

      Delete
    12. Teenagers are those between the ages of thirTEEN and nineTEEN. And Josie is 10 years and almost 8 months old, so another 2 years and 4 months before she becomes a teenager.

      Delete
    13. 5:43AM: Josie will be 11 in December, 2020. Here, you are a teenager at 13.

      Delete
    14. For me, here in the US, thirteen starts the teen years (all the years that “teen” is added to the number).

      Delete
    15. Teenager means thir-teen to nine-teen, the key is in the ending of the word!! So eleven and twelve year olds are not teenagers. This is not an American definition it is the correct definition of the word teenager!!
      (Also Josie is only 10).

      Delete
    16. Josie will be 11 in December. Teenage starts at thirteen.

      Delete
    17. In the US, whenever someone turns thirteen, they are then called a teenager. It's because it's the first number word with "teen" in it. Prior to that, they are "preteens."

    18. Josie, turned 10, last December.

    2. I think that single adults should be left alone regarding their relationship status. They do not need saving, prodding, patronizing, conjoling, or advice from others. Contrary to what some people think, not everyone needs a spouse or partner in order to be happy, fullfilled, and content with their life. Everyone has different wants and desires. Let them sort it out for themselves.

  20. I don't think she looks like Jana or any of the other kids. She's her own person.

    1. Hopefully, she'll be in college fulfilling her goal of becoming a veterinarian.

      Delete
    2. Vet school is now harder to get into than med school. If she wants this goal to happen, she should go to public school and start taking rigorous AP classes on a track for college and beyond. I doubt her parents would let that happen, since their goal is to get their daughters married and producing those 100 grandchildren.
