  7. What is that? I can only understand about every seventh word she sings. At first, I thought it was one of those tracks where they play a hidden message backwards.

    1. If you look up on Wikipedia Perry Como, you will read about a famous singer who started out the same way. You could not understand his words as he sung, but he was gifted. He was talented. He could bellow out the songs....and Once it was brought to his attention, that he could not be understood, he corrected that, and he became so famous and dearly loved. Give this young girl time.

    1. What ? Christians encourage, inspire and aide other Christians. But it wouldn't be a bad idea to see all the in laws at times visiting the Duggar adult children's homes. Would love to see Jessa have the Seawalds visiting. It would be nice to see Spurgeons family together as he grows up. Why not ? We have seen and learned quite a bit about Derrecks family. Why not Ben's ? Would love to see more of Ben's family. Everyone has interesting Aunts, Uncles, and cousin's. Haven't we seen a lot of Amy Duggar ?

  45. Wow that sounds amazing. At her brother's wedding she looked so shy and quiet, but the sound of her voice just proved me wrong.

  46. Here are the lyrics to the song:

    "Worth It" by Francesca Battistelli

    Love's not a feeling, love's not convenient
But I know love can change your life
Love takes sacrifice, love cuts like a knife
Sometimes love will make you cry
Love's not easy but it's worth it

Love is a hunger, but love won't leave you empty
See it's a language of the heart
Love can steal your pride, but love won't let you ride
    It takes everything you've got
Love's not easy but it's worth it

What you gonna do when the bottom falls out
    And you're left with nothing
But your fear and your doubt to hold you, hold you?

Where you're gonna run when it's all on the line
    And you're looking for someone
To save your life, to save your life?

Love can hear you, love can heal you
If you let it inside, oh, remember now
Love's not easy but it's worth it

What you gonna do when the bottom falls out
    And you're left with nothing
But your fear and your doubt to hold you
    Who's gonna hold you?

Where you're gonna run when it's all on the line
    And you're looking for someone
To save your life, to save your life?

Love can hear you, I know love will heal you
If you let it inside, oh, remember now
Love's not easy but it's worth it

    Blessings,
    Lily and Ellie

    1. Thank you. That was beautiful. You know, many many famous singers have put out songs and you just can not understand a single word of the song , but hey, we like the beat of the music though . She is more talented than some singers, I must say. She has a beautiful voice. And I understood the words, but reading it also deepens it all. Thanks again. And the words of the song made me think of Anna Duggar.

  47. This is not a song of any value or description to either Christ or Love. So, we cannot show our knees or shoulders, nor can we hold hands but we can sing a seductive, breathy song with words that could be of the world. No mention of God, no mention of anything but love.

In our home, if the music obscures the message of the words it is a song of the world. Message should be clear. If I were blindfolded and heard this song, I would think it was being performed by a secular performer. I would NEVER have guessed it to be a song with a Christian message!

Scripture clearly tells us, let your yay be yay and your nay be nay.

Perhaps this is why the Duggars message is always clouded by inconsistencies and double standards.

Please tell me what words in this song point people to God? Love? No words in this song talk about what God"a love did for all of us. Based on the words, and performance this comes across as a breathy, sultry love song. My children would not be allowed to purchase this CD. What message is Danielle trying to send through this CD? Really, now you know why the "world" is confused with the Duggar Message. I know this is a CD out out by Danielle Seewald. However, did the Duggars actually consider how this song would be perceived prior to placing it on their website? This is where the Duggars have chinks in their Armour. These postings need to be evaluated for the message and perception they give to the viewership prior to posting.

Why is it acceptable to sing a sultry, breathy love song that can create ungodly thoughts in people's minds okay, but wearing pants, showing knees and shoulders is not okay. God looks on the heart.

This music is not my preference but there is an inconsistentcy between outward appearance rules and inward heart rules. No wonder there are confused and biblical deficit kids in America today.

It is not wrong to show your knees, or shoulders unless you are doing it with a purpose to be seductive. I think this song is much more seductive to the heart than showing knees or shoulders.

Your message Duggars is just so twisted to me as an adult. I cannot imagine what this is doing to your children.

Lily and Ellie, for those of us not understanding, please tell us what type or genre this CD is produced under. Is it Christian, is it Pop, is it a Single to just get Danielle Seewald's name out there. We, as parents/grandparents need more information on this CD. Erin Paine's Christmas CD was clearly Southern Gospel Christmas Album. Not sure where Danielle Seewalds' album is classified. Thank You!

    1. Amen. Totally agree. This was very well put and express my thoughts and frustrations exactly.

      Delete
    2. I disagree. It was heart breaking. I think of a young woman who has suffered as Anna has. Love has seen her through. Where did the love come from ? Marriage is not two being united but three...Remember, God is always present. In a Christian walk we feel God's present when we live pleasing to Him and there is joy and "love". I am sorry but Your attitude is not one of love. All that we do should be done in love, even when we correct someone who unintentionally has made an error. She didn't need this kind of response in this way. And God is not always mentioned. Check out the book of Ruth. But you can know, He is present.

    3. Does it not say in the Bible that God is love? Does it not later explain what love entitles and that it isn't convenient? And that it is choice and not a feeling? That it's putting others before yourself and them doing the same? Isn't that what the song explained? I have no problem with this song.

  48. Are these supposed to be christian lyrics?

    1. I think they are.

    2. Why must a talented young girl take heat from singing a song about love?? So she is a Christian. Should she be restricted to a ridged confined nun habit ? She is young, don't all young girls think about love? Don't they all identify with sings that relate to this kind of songs ? Now if she was Adele would you feel differently ? Please don't crush her spirit, what sin has she committed ? This is an innocent song !

      Delete
    3. This song is encouraging. It tells a young girl what love is all about. It takes a lot. There is pain. And what are you going to do if the bottom falls out ? It makes me think of the heartache Anna Duggar has gone through. It is as if it was written for her. She held on. Love has seen her through. And where did this love come from? Christ.

      Delete
  49. Is this what love is REALLY all about? I'm not sure.

    1. Yes.It is Love...Love, takes all that you have got. Love brings a couple together and love sees you through, even through the difficult times. Through prayer and through the love that God places in our heart for our spouses, He sees us through.

  50. Are any of the songs that she comes out with her own? If not do you know she is a songwriter as well?

  51. What else does Danielle sing? Is this supposed to be a christian song?

    Replies
    1. Yes. It is by a Christian singer by the name of Francesca Battlistelli.

      Delete
    2. Isn't love God ordained...in marriage ? Isn't the love a Christian feels comes from Jesus ?

      Delete
  52. Does every song in the world need to be Christian?? Can a person have a talent, a beautiful voice and not sing about God? She can still be a Christian and sign about love! The Seewald girls wear pants. Does that too make them less Christian?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Where there is (Christian) love, God is present.

  53. It has a nice sound. But the words aren't enunciated clearly enough for me to understand what she's saying. To me, that's a big detriment in a recording. Because although I love beautiful arrangements, I want to know the words first and foremost. Yes, I can find the words; but I think it would be better to be able to hear the words. Maybe take that into consideration for the next recording.
