Music Tour Before Book Tour

Before the Duggars set off on their book tour, they will be performing with the Bontrager Family Singers at four New York locations. (Thanks to one of our readers for sharing this tip!) The schedule is as follows:

June 4th, 2011
4:00PM at Highland Park~Cypress Hill, NY
Free and open to the public

June 5th, 2011
6:00PM at Evangel Church~Long Island City, NY
Free but requires tickets because space is limited. Call 718-361-5454 to reserve a spot.

June 6th, 2011
10:00AM at Evangel Church School~Long Island City, NY
Open to the public but is geared more towards the students and staff.
5:00PM at Bowry Street Mission~NYC, NY
Open to the public but is geared more towards the people at the mission. 

*If you are looking for an event for the entire family, the Bontragers recommend attending either the church performance or the performance at New York's Highland Park.

    All four events are free and open to the public.

    The only one that requires tickets is the Sunday night concert from 6-8PM at Evangel Church. Tickets are free, but space is limited. Call 718-361-5454 to reserve a spot. The church's website is http://evangelchurch.net/index.php, and the address is

    The event at Evangel Church School is open to the public but is geared more towards the students and staff.

    If you are looking for an event that the entire family will enjoy, the Bontragers recommend attending either the church performance or the performance at New York's Highland Park.

  7. Not at all; I'm in Canada. Think they'll ever come to Canada? Well, this is the season to; anytime from about April to October. If they come in the winter, the females will probably need to wear double leggings at least. I almost NEVER wear skirts in winter because it's just too cold.

  8. Next time you go to NYC:
    1. Little kids are free on subway.
    2. The first car or last car tends to have a lot more space.
