Seewalds' 1-Year Anniversary

One year ago, Jessa Duggar married her sweetheart, Ben Seewald, in front of more than 1,000 guests at First Baptist Church in Bentonville, Arkansas. Today the couple not only celebrates 365 days of wedded bliss, but also the due date of their first child. Stay tuned! Baby Seewald will make his or her appearance very soon.

  21. It would've been nice if they took some time to really enjoy their time together as newlyweds before having children. They've been married one year and Jessa has been pregnant for nine of those months. Now with a baby, they'll never have that alone time with each other to really build a solid foundation for a shared relationship.

    1. But they did court for eleven months. And they'd known each other for about two years before that. And she wasn't pregnant until 3 months after they got married and and so that's a full year without a baby. They've been "together" for 25.5 months!

  24. Happy 1st Anniversary Jessa and Ben. Love one another always. Can't wait to see if you have a boy or girl and what the name will be. Babies are a blessing but only have as many children that you can afford or can handle. We don't know what life has in store for us. It sometimes can throw you a curve ball. I told my children that also. Lots of Love

  26. Anonymous 20, there are plenty of people who have had honeymoon babies along with a wonderful marriage. My husband and I got pregnant less than four months after we got married. We have never felt that we lacked a solid foundation or did not get enough time with "just the two of us". We have a great marriage and enjoy our large family. We have lots of children AND a solid foundation.

  31. Getting really exciting now, it is all down to father time and mother nature. Good luck even though this is all new to you it has been happening since the cavemen days,at least there is more knowledge about the process these days.my kids had to be c sections so I am so please that we evolved from the Neanderthal which we once were because giving birth in the woods for me just would not have worked, but however your baby is born natural or c section as long as it is a healthy delivery it is a good delivery. At this point you are so ready, I remember it well

  32. You can see the love oozing between Ben and Jessa in the photos no need for all the kissing in front of others to prove you love each other, it shows.
