Duggars Dream of a White Christmas

Blizzard of 2011
As residents prepare for Christmas, winter storm watches cover Arkansas. The northwest corner of the state, where the Duggars live, is expecting a minimum of three to six inches of snow on Christmas Day.

According to the NCDC, the historical likelihood of the Duggars celebrating a white Christmas is less than 10%. In fact, Tulsa, Oklahoma--a city that lies two hours due west of the Duggars--has received a measurable amount of snow on Christmas Day only four times since the year 1875. If everything goes as predicted, December 25, 2012, will be a day for the record books!

Are you expecting a White Christmas? If you are, be sure to check out the Duggars' recipe for snow ice cream.

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

  13. Hi Lily and Elly,
I'm currently in Austria and having a very white christmas in the mountains :)
Do you happen to know whether the Duggars receive their mail and respond to them? I have sent mail to their private home adress and to their mailbox. E.g. a christmas and New Year wish. Hopefully they'll receive it because it has travelled such a long time/distance.
    Merry Christmas to you!

    Hi Anonymous,

TLC hasn't announced the official start date for "19 Kids and Counting," but they did assure us that the show will return in 2013.

    Happy New Year!

    Hi N,

The Duggars do their best to read all of their mail/emails, but they are not able to respond to every person.

    Happy New Year!
