  3. Have Josh and Anna moved already? She's really brave to take all that on with a tiny baby.

  4. I just want to know if you have a garden? And if not why not with all that land and children to feed.

  6. Words cannot express how grateful I am that Josh and Anna were willing to step out in faith and make the move to DC. If ANY town EVER needed the Light of Christ, it's Washington, DC. Thank you, Lord, for the faithfulness of the entire Duggar clan. They are a beautiful witness of the love of Christ and bring hope to millions (billions?) in our darkened and wearying age. I pray especially for EVERY kind of protection for them, especially for Josh and Anna and their children as they begin a new stage in following Jesus Christ. Can I get an AMEN??? :D

  12. I love that Josh and his family took this job. I think it's important to show that the family doesn't have to be in thevsamw state. They continue to stay close knit. Nice to see the girls visiting!!!

    Hi Rachel,

Josh and Anna moved three weeks ago, and Josh started his job two weeks ago.

  15. I totally agree with Anonymous@11:34. It is beyond unprofessional to have your family and kids in the office like that.

  16. Cute picture! Is TLC going to be showing Josh in DC? They have made several statements that they will not be focusing on Josh's job and move and will be focusing on the family in Arkansas. I hope we get a sneak peak at least of Josh's & Anna's new house. I would love to see what kind of neighborhood they picked out and if they got 2 bathrooms finally(I give Anna tons of credit for moving with a newborn and having 3 kids & one bathroom).

  21. Wow I think Jill is quite stepping out . She is wearing very modern stuff and the skirt is not until the floor. Moreover is she the only one working especially in a brave job. I love her!

    1. They said in an episode not to show your thighs. So anything below the knee would be appropriate. And I think it's a weird angle for the picture it looks calf length. They are allowed to wear splits and I know plenty of people who sew up a small vent including myself.

  22. they moved to dc not to a 3rd world country. easy people!

  23. Together with "built-in babysitters"? :) I wonder for how long Jill, Jessa and Jinger are visiting. It's great for the girls, though. Maybe they can see a little bit of DC too, not only babysit.

  25. Sheesh! its clear to me that the majority of the population has noo idea how this family operates. or what its like to think of someone other than themselves. Some young ladies actually like spending time with their younger siblings or neices and nephews and still manage to pursue their own interests and have their own life.

  26. Josh works for a company that is pro family so why not have the kids visit. The Duggar girla dont wear skirts to the floor regularly so Jills skirt is not news. Michelle haas said in the past that they dress modest modern.

  27. Did they buy a house or are they renting?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Brad, since Josh has said he believes in the same debt free pricipals as his parents the you would have to assume he is renting. When Josh & Anna were looking at homes in Arkansas they wanted something under 100k so they could pay cash. From the small glimpse of their new home and the area they live in it would be hard to find anything decent under 350k.

The other thing that makes me mad about how mortgages work is that Josh would be a poor candidate to get a home loan even if he wanted one. Since Josh & Anna pay cash and have never used credit cards or car loans, and never paid rent or a mortgage before they would not have established credit score and since Josh was his own boss and is starting his first salaried job, he doesn't have a solid income history. This happened to my SIL, she lived with her sister and saved money to buy a house but they counted not paying rent or mortgage against her as well as her lack of using credit cards. Silly mortgage system.

  29. he needs to establish credit, but they also make ALOT OF MONEY being on tv these are not POOR PEOPLE. just like you or me. money just come to them easier. why do you feel they are MORE SPECIAL than you? please respond

  30. How rude of you to say that!! His company is Pro Family!! That means they support the family unit!! Therefore s family is certainly welcome to visit, I'm sure. Especially if its on his lunch hour, and lets face it, I'm sure they don't mind the publicity either...it's good for business!!

  31. Sorry If I offended you Anonymous. I was just stating facts becauce 2 questions had ben asked it Josh bought a house. Josh said that he wanted to spend under 100k so he could buy a home debt free. Homes cost a lot more then 100k in Maryland where he moved. The show pays the entire family about 200k a season, but that is the entire family. I have no clue how that is saved or spent and it is no ones of my business but I would find it odd if Josh got it all?

It would be fine if Josh took a mortgage (we had one for 5 years before paying it off) but Josh has said many times he does not want debt(which is great).

I don't think the Duggars are more special then me. Everyone is a person , no different if you are on tv or not. I watch them because my husband had over 20 siblings with strict values and debt free living and I was on only child. I was interested in how a large family unit operates in different stages of life. I like the Duggars for the most part. My only issue has ever been the lack of variety or careers or formal B&M college but if all 19 can be successful without it, more power to them.

  32. I take it that the legislation on pro life didn't go through in WA DC. I am sure that they did influence the public's thinking with AZ Senator Flake's team. I am from AZ, but the senate is very strict here but not so much the House, in my opinion. I hope that he does go into the ministry as he will be fine preacher. I think that Dallas has a good theological seminary there, which he would test well to as the Duggars are very intelligent people. I have known many people who didn't go to college that did much better than people who did. I had to go as I chose a field of study that required it. As I seeit college doesn't make us more interligent but more informed if need.

  33. While I normally admire the Duggar Family, I was shocked that Josh took a job with a known hate group. Very disappointed.

  34. @Anonymous The FRC is not a hate group. People can have different faith convictions, can't they?
