Coming Up on 'Counting On'...

A new season of Counting On premieres this summer, and the Duggars have a lot of exciting footage in store for viewers. Check out the promo video below.

Joy Duggar and Austin Forsyth (Pictures)

Yesterday on the Counting On season finale (click here to read our recap), viewers watched Joy-Anna Duggar enter an official courtship with long-time friend Austin Forsyth. The Duggars and Forsyths have known each other for 15 years, but it wasn't until about five years ago that Joy and Austin developed a true friendship.

 Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth

Austin popped the question while the two were sitting together at a scenic overlook called The Rock. Four of Joy's brothers were nearby, but they hung back to give the couple privacy.

“You know, Miss Joy-Anna, I don’t think it’s any coincidence or accident the way the Lord has brought our friendship together,” Austin told Joy. “I would be honored if you would be more than just friends, if you would go to the next step and enter a courtship with me.”

Joy was beaming as she responded that she would "love to" begin a courtship.

The two shared a side hug and sat next to each other during the car ride back to Fort Rock Family Camp.

Will Jim Bob Duggar be walking his fifth-oldest (and fifth-youngest) daughter down the aisle in the near future? Immediately following last night's season finale episode, the network shared a promo video featuring a conversation that showed Austin asking for Jim Bob's blessing to propose to Joy.

Older sister Jessa Seewald shared her predictions, saying that because Joy and Austin have been friends for years and the Duggars know that Austin is a great guy, she expects the courtship to be short.

Do you think Joy and Austin are headed to the altar soon?

'A Honeymoon and a Courtship' Recap

Counting On "A Honeymoon and a Courtship" (Season Finale)
  • Jinger and Jeremy just tied the knot, and they are on their way to the airport to catch a plane to Australia. “It’s been really exciting…to be able to let our guard down around one another,” says Jeremy. “I think we’ve laughed together more this week than we have in our whole relationship so far.”
  • When the Vuolos arrive in Sydney for a six-day stay, they are eager to learn how to speak with an Australian accent, so they ask their cab driver for help. He willingly gives them a few pointers.
  • Jinger and Jeremy’s hotel room has a stunning view of the harbor and the Sydney Opera House.
  • The first order of business is to learn how to throw a boomerang. The locals who teach the Vuolos offer to paint their faces. Jeremy happily agrees, but Jinger isn’t too thrilled about it. “I just decided to do it on my hand,” says Jinger. “It’s easier to wipe off.”
  • While walking around the harbor, they stumble upon a man playing the didgeridoo, and he teaches Jeremy. Jinger and Jeremy are told that if women play the didgeridoo, they will become pregnant, so Jinger doesn’t try. “Does your family have a lot of didgeridoos?” Jeremy asks his new wife. They both start laughing hysterically.
  • On another day, the newlyweds take a water taxi through the harbor. Jinger starts feeling seasick, so they have to cut the trip short.
  • Jinger and Jeremy are able to pet koalas and feed kangaroos at a local zoo. They also visit a fish market, where they learn how to clean a kingfish. Jeremy tries a piece raw and convinces Jinger to do the same. “Jeremy has helped me to expand my palate and try new things,” says Jinger.
  • Jeremy jumps behind the wheel of a car and tries his hand at driving on the left side of the road. Jinger freaks out a bit.
  • The Vuolos meet up with an Australian chef for a lesson in grilling seafood. The chef is a very outgoing woman who jokes with Jinger and Jeremy when she catches them being “lovey dovey.”
  • Back in Arkansas, Austin Forsyth stops by the Duggar house to talk to Jim Bob. He has his pilot’s license, knows how to use heavy equipment, and just purchased a house that he plans to flip.
  • Austin Forsyth asks Jim Bob for permission to ask Joy to start an official courtship.
  • Jim Bob gives Austin the green light and offers to help him implement his plan to pop the question. “I really believe that you are a great guy,” the dad of 19 tells Austin. “I think we would all be honored for y’all to start an official courtship.” He gives Austin a side hug.
  • A little while later, Austin invites Joy and four of her brothers to do outdoor work at his family’s camp (Fort Rock). The boys are all good friends with Austin.
  • After finishing with their work, they all head to a lookout point called The Rock. Austin has been saving the location for a special moment with Joy. The boys hang back and let the couple climb up to the lookout.
  • “You know, Miss Joy-Anna, I don’t think it’s any coincidence or accident the way the Lord has brought our friendship together,” says Austin. “I would be honored if you would be more than just friends, if you would go to the next step and enter a courtship with me.”
  • “I would love to,” responds Joy, beaming. The two give each other a side hug. On the way back to the camp, Joy insists on sitting in the middle of the front seat of the truck, between Austin and Jeremiah.

No More Hippie Hair

Jill and Derick Dillard returned to Central America last week after a six-month stay in Arkansas, but before boarding the airplane, they did something that might surprise you.

Towards the end of 2015, Derick began growing his hair out and kept it long for more than a year, as fans expressed varying opinions on his new style.

Well, the soon-to-be-28-year-old decided it was time to trim his long locks. His lovely wife, Jill Dillard, did the honors.

As you can see, Derick's hair had become quite long.

During the haircut, Jill and Derick enjoyed experimenting with different styles.

Imagine how much hair must have been on the floor after Jill was finished!

So what do you think of Derick's new (or should we say old) style?

It was certainly a shock to 22-month-old Israel Dillard, who was only an infant when his dad began growing his hair out.

'The Big Day' Recap

Counting On "The Big Day"
  • The wedding is just three days away, and Jinger is trying on her wedding dress, designed by Renee Miller, one final time. When she walks out in the gown, her female family members and friends are in awe.
  • Later, all the bridesmaids try on their dresses, also designed by Renee. Afterwards, wedding coordinator Wendy gathers all the ladies together to share memories and kind words with Jinger. Lots of tears are shed.
  • “I’m going to miss not being close to you all,” says Jinger, drying her eyes. “I just could go on all day…talking about each one of you.”
  • Sixty-six hours before the wedding, Anna Duggar, Jana Duggar, Jessa Seewald, and Joy-Anna Duggar throw Jinger a girls-only bridal shower. She is thrilled that her soon-to-be mother-in-law is able to attend.
  • Joy-Anna and wedding designer Cindy (Michelle's childhood friend) lead a decorating committee made up of Duggar brothers and several friends in cutting greenery and picking up stumps and the 2,300 roses that Cindy ordered.
  • The siblings end up forgetting the buckets for the roses and greenery. “Our goal in this wedding process is to not stress,” Cindy reminds everyone, hoping the flowers won’t wilt. When the group makes it back to the hotel, they rush to clip all the flowers and put them in water.
  • On Thursday, Jinger and Michelle head to the airport to pick up Jeremy. “This is the last time I fly in as a single man, and we don’t have to say goodbye after this,” says Jeremy, smiling.
  • The day before the wedding, the siblings help Cindy use the roses and greenery to create a giant “V” on a chicken wire stand that will be displayed on the stage in the church.
  • Jinger and Jeremy have decided to let their family and friends surprise them with the decorations. Jinger wants everything to be “simple but elegant,” which reflects her personal style.
  • When the bride and groom enter the church for the rehearsal, they are blown away, and the venue isn’t even fully decorated. Wendy directs the rehearsal.
  • “We wanted to keep the wedding to a smaller, more intimate size, but I think we ended up sending out around 400 initiations and are expecting around 1,000 people,” says Jeremy.
Following the rehearsal, everyone heads over to the reception venue for an Italian-themed dinner.
  • Jinger spends the night at Jill and Derick’s [quieter] house so she can get at least a few hours of sleep. The next morning, Jeremy comes over for devotions. They read a passage about love and discuss how they want their wedding to be a display of Christ’s love rather than an event focused on the two of them.
  • Jinger, Jeremy, and Jeremy’s parents head over to the church, where the bride and groom go their separate ways to get ready for the big day.
  • Jeremy leads a quick devotion with his dad and groomsmen and passes out quirky animal socks as gifts. “Guys, I wasn’t going to let you get away without doing something crazy with fashion,” jokes Jeremy.
  • Meanwhile, the girls hustle to start their hair and makeup. Jinger gives jewelry and chocolate in cute jars to her bridesmaids.
  • The middle Duggar boys help Cindy make corsages and boutonnieres. “We are all exhausted—I like to call it joyfully exhausted—but we are thrilled,” says Cindy, who was up until 2am working.
  • When the groomsmen are dressed, they head outside to take pictures in front of the church. Back inside, Michelle helps Jinger into her wedding dress, and Jim Bob comes in to spend a few moments with his daughter.
  • Jinger gives her dad a handkerchief with a sentimental message on it: “To my dad: You are the first man that I ever loved. When you give me away today, know that I will always be your little girl.” Jim Bob prays with Michelle and Jinger.
  • The guys return to their room so the girls can take pictures in front of the church.
At the reception venue, friends are busy baking and icing cupcakes and icing the wedding cake.
  • When the time comes for the wedding to start, Jinger and Jeremy can hardly wait to join hands at the front of the church. Jeremy’s dad, Pastor Chuck Vuolo, officiates.
  • The couple recites their vows: I, Jeremy, take you, Jinger, to be my wife, in the sight of our Lord Jesus Christ. I promise to be faithful, in suffering and in joy, in poverty and in wealth, in sickness and in health. I promise to love you and cherish you until death brings our separation.” Jinger’s vows are the same.
  • The unity song, “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing,” is performed live by the band Page CXVI.
  • According to the couple, the first kiss is "incredible" and "out of this world."
  • Immediately following the ceremony, the couple takes pictures of the two of them, as well as family photos.
  • At the reception hall, Jinger and Jeremy walk out on stage as the crowd cheers. They cut their cake and feed it to each other. The newlyweds greet guests before leaving for their honeymoon.
  • The Duggar siblings say they don't expect it to be long before the Vuolos announce a pregnancy. Some of them also guess that Joy will be the next Duggar to walk down the aisle

Next Monday is the Counting On season finale! More Details coming soon.

Seewalds Looking For a Bigger House

In this week's issue of PEOPLE Magazine, Jessa and Ben Seewald candidly share details of their new life with two babies, 15-month-old Spurgeon Elliot Seewald and newborn Henry Wilberforce Seewald.

With her first delivery, Jessa was in labor for nearly two days and was rushed to the hospital for a blood transfusion. She told PEOPLE that it was "intense and completely exhausting" and that she "slept for 24 hours straight afterwards."

This time around, both Jessa and Ben brace for another long and grueling birth, but it didn't happen. Jessa's water broke just before midnight on February 5th, and Henry Wilberforce arrived at 4:26am on February 6th.

Now that they have two children, the Seewalds say they have outgrown their two-bedroom one-bathroom home, with Jessa telling PEOPLE that they are "always checking the market."

Both Spurgeon and Henry are named after well-known Christian heroes. If you're wondering whether Jessa and Ben plan to strictly stick to the naming theme, the proud parents say no. "The next kid could have a totally different name," announced Ben.

For more pictures and quotes from the Seewalds, check out this week's issue of PEOPLE, on newsstands now.

Dillards En Route to Central America

Israel Dillard looks out at the airport tarmac

Have you had a chance to read the post we shared this afternoon? Jill, Derick, and Israel Dillard are headed back to Central America, with plans to return home for the birth of their second son, due in July.

It's always difficult to say goodbye to family and friends. The Dillards, who have been in Arkansas for six months, are leaving behind Jill's large family, including new nephew Henry Wilberforce Seewald, and Derick's small family--his mom, stepdad, brother Dan Dillard, and sister-in-law Deena Dillard.

Dillards Headed Back to Central America

The Dillards at Dan Dillard's recent wedding
A couple weeks ago, we shared that Jill and Derick Dillard had plans to return to Central America after being in the United States since early August. Just a few minutes ago, the missionary couple announced that all systems are go and they are preparing for the trip back.

"We are excited to be back to the work our hearts love so much," the Dillards write in a note on their website. From the early stages of our lives, the Lord has put a deep love and care in both of our hearts for all peoples of the world that they would come to repentance and put their hope in the Lord, Jesus Christ."

In addition to serving in the location where they are stationed, Jill and Derick also make weekly trips to villages plagued by violence to provide skills training and Bible studies to adults, as well as children's programs. They express their gratitude to those who have partnered with them in prayer and through financial contributions, and they share their need for additional monetary support. (Click here to be redirected to their donations page.)

"In addition to the ministry outreach expenses, there are always monthly expenses for groceries, utilities, fuel, healthcare, etc," the Dillards write. "We have always purposed to live a frugal lifestyle and continue to do so in the mission field. When you give a donation to our ministry, you are helping our family cover living expenses to be able to remain on the field and helping reach so many precious lives."

Jill, Derick, and Israel Dillard will return home for the birth of their second son, due in July.

Jessa's Labor was 'Calm and Relaxed'

Jessa and Ben Seewald and their two sons--Spurgeon Elliot Seewald and Henry Wilberforce Seewald--are on this week's cover of PEOPLE Magazine, on newsstands Friday.

The mother of two says her second birth was much easier than her first, telling PEOPLE that it went by so quickly that Michelle Duggar and Jana Duggar nearly missed Henry's arrival.

Fifteen-month-old Spurgeon thinks his little brother is a toy, and according to Jessa and Ben, "has no concept of being soft." But he sure does look adorable posing for pictures with Henry! You'll see some of those photos in the video below:

'All About Jinger' Recap

Counting On "All About Jinger"

  • As the show opens, Jinger’s sisters are helping her pack to move to Laredo. It takes them quite a bit of time to divide up all their clothes and hair supplies. Jana and Joy selflessly give Jinger some of the best outfits.
  • While she was on her way to Spurgeon’s birth in November 2015, Jinger ran over a deer. Her friends mounted the head as a joke, not thinking that Jinger would actually display it in her bedroom, but she did. And now she’s taking it to Laredo.
  • Jana says she is going to miss shopping trips with Jinger, the fashionista of the family. Joy isn’t a big shopper, but she says she is going to miss having face-to-face chats with her sister.
  • As most fans know, Jessa and Jinger are very close, as they are only 13 months apart in age. They both admit they have shed many tears as they think about life without each other.
  • Jinger also has a strong friendship with her brothers, especially Joseph. "I think the thing we will miss the most about having Jinger at home is her personality," says Jason. "She just loves spending time with us siblings," adds Joseph.
  • Johannah accompanies Jinger to the airport to pick up Jeremy.
  • As a wedding present, Jinger’s brothers have purchased her a used car from an auto auction. It is a small, white SUV that is both economical and safe. Jinger and Jeremy are thrilled when the boys give them the car.
  • The next morning, Jeremy, Jinger, and Jedidiah leave for Laredo at 5am. Jim Bob and Michelle see them off.
  • When they cross into Texas, they stop at a store to buy Jinger some cowboy boots. “My goal is to get something that is not super cowboy style,” says Jinger, admitting she wants more of a city look. She ends up buying a pair of urban boots with a slight cowboy flair.
