  2. Hopefully, after this episode, TLC will move on to something other than the wedding. It's been the topic for several months now.

    1. We get to see the honeymoon next, where apparently all rules about purity and chaperones and side hugging and no kissing get tossed out the plane window on the way to Australia. Because of that powerful piece of paper, I guess.

    2. Powerful piece of paper? You mean a marriage?

      Delete
    3. It's not a piece of paper. It's a marriage, and what they have decided concerning purity is up to them, and nothing for us to criticize.

    4. Ha - I've been married almost 40 years and I had to produce my piece of paper recently as proof of eligibility for health benefits. So yep, that piece of paper is pretty powerful. But what I felt before I got it didn't change one lick after I got it. That ceremony was a formality. The real "marriage" for us happened when we decided to spend our lives together, long before the formality. Imagine that.

    5. It's more then a piece of paper... it's a Sacrament!!!!

    6. If you go to City Hall, it's a piece of paper. Lots of people get married that way.

    1. Why would you want to have a girl who's only been married 3 months announce that she's pregnant?

  6. Jinger was by far the prettiest bride of the three Duggar girls now married.

Jinger and Jeremy put together a wedding that glistened with love, romance and a maturity in the Lord! What an example they have been to young Christian couples dating and taking that next step of marriage in life.

We want to see more of Jinger and Jeremy. We would love to know how Jinger has melded in with the ladies in her new Church. We would love to see more about their ministry.

Viewers are really ready to move on from Ben and Jessa.

Thank You Jinger and Jeremy for your Biblical example of purity and dating. Your wedding that we saw in November was absolutely gorgeous! Very well planned and your faith and style was so reflected in your ceremony and reception.

May God richly bless the two of you as you have been a blessing and lighthouse to the world!

    1. Gee, how'd you like to log on to a fan blog and read that your sister was prettier than you?

    2. Perfectly stated!

    3. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

    4. I think all the Dugger brides have been so beautiful. Each one is unique and beautiful in their own way and can't be compared to each other. This includes Anna.

    5. Is it just me who thinks all these comments (on this post and many others) that Jinger was the prettiest bride are really rude? I mean, yes, I'm sure many of them mean it as a compliment to Jinger, but that's pretty unkind to the other girls. If that's your opinion why don't you just keep it to yourself? Imagine if Jessa or Jill saw these comments. Man, that would hurt! The truth is they were all very different brides with very different styles. So of course you'll probably have a favorite but there's no need to give your opinion, especially on here where there could be a possibility that they see it.

    6. To those of you who say Jinger was the prettiest bride of all the married girls....As 1 of 5 sisters I can tell you what a hurtful thing to say. One sister closest in age to me was ALWAYS compared with me on looks, beauty, hair, attitude etc. Never failed that I was ALWAYS on the losing end of such comments. ALWAYS. Luckily that particular sister and I were best friends and it did not affect our relationship. What the rest of the world didn't know was that my attitude was horrible because I was so abused. My sister of course knew and has always been there for me. So, just think a little before you compare siblings! Sometimes its hurtful and there could be more going on than you know! NOT saying this is the case with Duggars though!

    7. A Biblical example of purity and dating? You must be talking about what happened AFTER he met Jinger.

    8. Her dress was gorgeous! All the Duggar women had different dress styles that were very pretty! It depends on the style you like :)

    9. Ginger definitely put alot of thought into her wedding planning. She was a stunning bride. Having professional wedding planners definitely paid off this time. My favorite Duggar wedding so far.

    11. Anon 12:11...well said and i agree! Anon 5:57, what an uncouth statement AND that my friend is only your opinion...we all see things differently and some of us know when not to say it.Not cool

    12. Beauty comes from within the heart first. Jinger has such a grace and respect for other individuals. She is not sell-absorbed! Her inner beauty radiates with her outer beauty making her the prettiest of the Duggar girls to get married thus far.

    13. @4:15 -- you must be referring to Jeremy's past. You are aware that King David, "a man after God's own heart," had murder and adultery in his past, right? Just like King David, Jeremy has "decided to follow Jesus," in the words of that great old song. Isn't it great that we can all make that decision. Old things have passed away, behold all things are made new!

    1. No matter what is aired, it is impossible to make everyone happy. This is an extended version of the wedding episode. If the wedding weren't aired last season, fans would have cried foul. It was wonderful to see the full preparations, the ceremony, and the reception. There was a lot that was not shown last season that was shown in last night's episode. The preview for the next episode does seem to include the beginning of Joy Anna's and Austin's courtship. If you have a problem with the show, don't watch it. I loved the episode and am very much looking forward to next week's episode. Congratulations, Jeremy and Jinger! 💕 God bless you! Your sister in Christ, Kristin.

    1. I agree! Her inner beauty and outer beauty shine through together. She and Jeremy appear to be so unselfish. Throughout the entire weddin 2 hour episode they continually thanked all whom made their day special. You did not see that with Ben and Jessa's wedding. This couple is sharp and mature!

    2. I'm guessing that is was your heart's intention to compliment Jinger and you intended no harm. However, when we compare one to another, we create a winner and a loser situation. That doesn't lift up/encourage at all. One who takes pride in receiving such a "compliment", is doing so, at the expense of another. A wedding is not a competition, nor should life be. Climbing to the top, by belittling/demeaning/devaluing/tearing others down, to be proclaimed "the best", isn't exactly a victory. Beauty is fleeting, character and integrity are what count. With so many sisters, sibling rivalry among 19 children (and all families have it, including the Duggars),vying for attention is bad enough, let's just appreciate each one for who they are.

  12. What a Godly couple. I am sure they are going to do so much to further the kingdom of God. My favorite part of tonight's episode was when Jim Bob saw Jinger for the first time in her wedding dress. He loves all his children so much and it really shows when he sees his beloved daughters in their wedding dresses. So sweet - Jinger is so blessed to have the parents she does and now a Godly wonderful hubby!

  13. Who else sobbed?!?!? This was the most emotional Duggar wedding for me so far! I cannot wait to see their life together unfold! And I seriously cannot imagine Jinger pregnant, she still seems so young, even though I had my first at 22. My husband and I love this couple.

  14. I loved seeing the wedding again. There were so many details that I had not seen before so it completed Jinger and Jeremy's Story. It was great to see the Dugger siblings working together to get the flowers ready and that Jinger was so happy and appreciative to Mrs Cindy for all her hard work. Jinger and Jeremy are so kind and considerate to their friends and family. It makes me happy for them.

  16. It's cute what Jinger said about waiting for so long. I didn't get married til I was 33! I wished I got married when I was a little younger but it wasn't meant to be.

  17. It was very emotional...how close the sisters and brothers are...that shows they were raised with happiness, loving and respect for each other.. ..oh my goodness Joy has said she was a tom boy being in the mix of all those boys and didnt like putting on much makeup....she was radiant last night...her teeth are so white. I'm happy for all.

  18. I'm interested to learn how many previous girlfriends Jeremy had before Jinger. Is Jinger aware of how involved Jeremy has been with other girls?
Also, why doesn't JimBob have speaking parts in the Counting On episodes???

    1. Why does that matter to any of us? He could have had 200 girlfriends. It's none of our business!

    2. Normally I would agree but with the duggars strict attitude on pre-marital physical contact... without any explanation it can start to seem like sexist (be ause the guy) and hypocritical... at least would seem interesting what there views are here instead of the standard cookiecutter answers they have been givin on practically everything.

    3. I think, of course, it would have been the Duggars' desire to have each one of their children marry someone without a past, but obviously God put these two together. God gives people second chances. If we want second chances and forgiveness, we should be willing to extend that to others. Since God and the Duggars are willing to move past this, we should be too, and not continue to speculate and gossip about it.

      Delete
    4. Well, I guess it goes to show that the Duggars are not as judgmental as many think. Jeremy is following Jesus now, and that's all that matters to Jinger.

      Delete
    5. I disagree. I think the Duggars took a big risk allowing Jeremy to associate with their daughter. Can you imagine the girls or girls who might crop up now and see the chance to make big bucks by selling their stories to a magazine? I know the Duggars have had to do damage control before for their image, but why would you risk having to do that again? Wonder if that 50-page questionnaire/courtship application asks about the past?

  19. I honestly think Jill was GORGEOUS all made up on her wedding day!! Seriously, she was radiant!!! But Jinger was second close!! Loved her dress. And really loved her shoes. Jessa was princess pretty. All three were beautiful.
