'God's Not Dead 2'

If you have been a long-time reader of our blog, you may remember our post about Jill and Derick Dillard's at-home date night in December 2014. The two expectant parents enjoyed banana peanut butter shakes while watching the movie God's Not Dead.

For those who enjoyed God's Not Dead, you'll be thrilled to hear that the sequel, God's Not Dead 2, opens in theaters today.

The movie features Duck Dynasty star Sadie Robertson, who also happens to be a personal friend of the Duggar girls. It has also been endorsed by multiple other friends of the Duggar family, including authors Jason and David Benham.

Visit Ellie's blog, NashvilleWife.com, to read her review of God's Not Dead 2 and to watch the trailer.

'Duck Dynasty' Stars on Biblical Forgiveness

In the following YouTube video, Duck Dynasty stars Jase and Missy Robertson introduce their new book, Blessed, Blessed...Blessed, on Entertainment Tonight. The tagline of the couple's book is: "The Untold Story of Our Family's Fight to Love Hard, Stay Strong, and Keep the Faith When Life Can't Be Fixed."

Jase and Missy also discuss Biblical forgiveness in regards to a heartbreaking trial that Jase's brother Alan faced in his marriage. "I think forgiving and forgetting are two different things," says Missy. How does this relate to the Duggars? Watch the video below to find out.

Blessed, Blessed...Blessed is scheduled for release on October 6th and is available for pre-order on ChristanBook. (Click here for details.)

A Quote From Josh Duggar

Josh Duggar recently made a statement about his views on the Duck Dynasty scandal:

Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty made some anatomical comparisons that were crude, but that isn't the real controversy here. The real issue is religious intolerance, and it shouldn't be tolerated.

He has a right to free speech and that includes his opinions on religion, life, marriage ...and ducks.
