Jana Duggar's Wedding Part 2

Did you catch part one of Jana Duggar's wedding? She and Stephen Wissmann have been married almost five months, and part two of their special day has just been uploaded to YouTube. You'll enjoy watching the wedding ceremony processional, including the tender moment when Jim Bob Duggar walks his eldest daughter down the aisle. You'll hear the pastor share his message, and you'll see the crowd cheer as Stephen and Jana are pronounced husband and wife. If you look closely at 13:00, you'll catch some of the Duggar family photos. Then it's on to the reception, which kicks off with lively bridal party introductions. Jessa Seewald steps up to the mic to give her matron of honor speech, followed by the best man's speech, the romantic first dance, and the send-off.

Vuolos on Duggar Family Relationships

Have you heard the news about Jinger (Duggar) Vuolo's new book? She and Jeremy recently joined Matt and Abby Howard on their podcast, The Unplanned Podcast. For 90 minutes, they discuss a wide variety of topics, including how they live their lives differently than Jim Bob and Michelle and how they navigate making their own decisions while maintaining a good relationship with the Duggars. 

Jinger explains that she desires to preserve family relationships in order to have a positive influence on family members who are still following the IBLP teachings. The Vuolos also talk about their choice not to make money an issue while they were filming for Counting On. And Jeremy shares how he showed respect for Jim Bob and Michelle during his courtship with Jinger.

How do Jinger and Jeremy, who live in Los Angeles, stay in touch with the ever-growing Duggar clan? Jinger says that she talks to various family, including her mom, on a regular basis. There are a number of Duggar family group chats, including one with the sisters, one about working out, and one with the entire family.

The Duggar family continues to grow, as Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar will soon add not one but two new grandchildren to their count. Joy and Austin Forsyth announced in October that they were expecting their third, while Jedidiah and Katey Duggar joined with a near-Christmas reveal of their second pregnancy. Baby Forsyth is a boy, while Baby Duggar is a girl (Nora Kate Duggar). Who knows, maybe Joy and Katey will deliver on the same day!

If you are a long-time follower of our blog and fan of the Duggar family, you probably know that Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar place a high importance on music education for their children. A segment of 19 Kids and Counting that aired about eight years ago featured a then-toddler Josie Duggar singing the Star Spangled Banner. Do you remember watching that?

Then in 2018, the Duggars uploaded a YouTube video of Josie singing the national anthem. Now, three-and-a-half years later, Elizabeth Bontrager, a friend of the Duggars, posted another video of Josie of Josie, who turns 12 in December, singing the same song (link below). Keep up the good work Josie!

Duggar #9 Turns 24

Happy 24th birthday to Joy-Anna Forsyth, the ninth in the Duggar family lineup. Joy and Austin have been married four years (4.5 years on November 26th) and are the parents to Gideon Forsyth (turns four in February) and Evelyn Forsyth (turned one in August).

Duggars #10 and 11 Turn 22

Happy 22nd birthday to Jedidiah and Jeremiah! They are Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's second set of twins, and they are the oldest of six brothers who sit between Joy-Anna and Johannah in the Duggar family lineup.

Merry Christmas to all! To celebrate the season, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar hosted a Duggar family get together that included a gift exchange. Addison Turns 1

November has just begun, and it's sure to be a busy month for the Duggar family. With six birthdays, two of which are for Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's kids and four of which are for grandchildren, there will be a lot of excitement. 

And don't forget the anniversaries! Jessa and Ben Seewald celebrated six years yesterday, and the Vuolos and John and Abbie have their anniversaries coming up this week.

For now, let's wish Addison Duggar a fun-filled first birthday. She will soon be the middle child, and while Joe and Kendra haven't yet announced Baby #3's gender, we know you all are hoping to hear the news soon.

A Birthday and An Anniversary

Back when the Duggar family was "only" comprised of Jim Bob and Michelle and their kids, spring had very few birthdays, but with all the in-laws and grandchildren, it has become a very busy time. Today is Joy and Austin Forsyth's three-year wedding anniversary and Ivy Seewald's first birthday. It would have been the lovely Grandma Mary Duggar's 79th birthday, but she passed away on June 9th of last year.

It has been quite a while since TLC has shown reruns of Counting On. Starting tomorrow (Wednesday, February 26) the network will be showing past episodes during the 4am-6am EST slot for one week, not including Sunday. Unless you're an early morning riser, that's probably not the most convenient time, but those with recording capabilities can watch them later.

There is still no word on when new episodes of Counting On will premiere, but we will let you know as soon as we hear something. The full TV schedule can be found on our Showtimes page.

15 Years of Duggar TV

Last month, the Duggars hit an exciting milestone. September 9th was the 15-year anniversary of the premiere of their first reality TV special, 14 Children and Pregnant Again. Can you believe that the Duggar family has been on television that long? They started with five specials, which gave way to the start of their weekly series 17 Kids and Counting on September 29th, 2008 (just over 11 years ago).

The series became 18 Kids and Counting in January 2009 and then ran for two seasons before being renamed to 19 Kids and Counting. After six additional seasons, the family was off the air for several months in 2015 before the premiere of Counting On in December. Counting On is currently in its 10th season, although the seasons are significantly shorter than those of the previous series.

The Duggars started filming for their first special around the beginning of 2004, just a few months before Jackson was born. Did you see 14 Children and Pregnant Again when it first aired on TV?

The Duggar family is continuing their trip out west with a visit to Los Angeles. Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo have lived there since June. The group went to the American Girl store, where Mackynzie picked out a doll as a 10th birthday gift from Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar (aka Pops and Lollie). The other girls were also able to pick out a small item. They have visited other places, as well, including the spot on the cement where Shirley Temple left her handprints and footprints in 1935.

Abbie Duggar is 25 weeks along in her pregnancy. She and John-David are expecting their little girl in January 2020. What a great way to start the new year! John and Abbie's daughter will join the ever-expanding Duggar family, including seven female cousins--Mackynzie Duggar (10), Meredith Duggar (4), Felicity Vuolo (1), Ivy Seewald (8 months in January), and three due to arrive in November--and nine male cousins.

2 Duggar Celebrations

Last night, a majority of the Duggars got together at the "big house" for a family game night. They played games like Settlers of Catan, Train Dominoes, and Ticket to Ride. They also gathered recently for a gender reveal party for John-David and Abbie Duggar's baby. What is your guess for this Duggar baby, boy or girl?

This week has been a difficult one for the Duggar family, as they mourn the loss of Grandma Duggar and make funeral preparations. Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo are visiting from Laredo and were able to have breakfast with Jim Bob and Michelle this morning.

Duggar Cousin is Expecting!

In honor of the new life in Christ that Christians celebrate on Easter, Duggar cousin Amy Duggar (now Amy King) has just announced that she is pregnant! She and husband Dillon King, who married on September 6th, 2015, are due in October 2019, just weeks after their four-year anniversary. They say they are both absolutely thrilled to enter this new season of life. The announcement was made via PEOPLE Magazine.

Making Bread with Jana

Almost five years ago, we posted the Duggar family's whole wheat bread recipe. (Click here to view.) Since it's been a while, we wanted to update you and let you know that they still use that very same recipe, although they have since reduced the honey to 2/3 cup instead of one full cup.

Joy's Greatest Fear

We hope that our American and Canadian readers are enjoying a relaxing Labor Day weekend. Tonight on Counting On, Joy's greatest fear comes to life when she is transferred to the hospital after 19 hours of labor and ends up having a C-section. The Duggar family also celebrates a birthday.

The hour-long episode starts at 9pm ET/8pm CT on TLC, but if you have TV service, you can log in with your provider and watch the episode early on the network's website. Below is a preview.
