Vuolos with Kirk Cameron

Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo recently sat down with Kirk Cameron on his TBN show Takeaways (link to the interview is below). Among other topics, the Vuolos talked about their lives as reality TV stars and what it has been like to combine Jinger's background with Jeremy's.

The Duggars are longtime friends of Kirk Cameron. He attended the party for family and close friends that Jim Bob and Michelle hosted after Jessa's wedding in 2014. And in 2012, the Duggar parents met up with Kirk at an iconic Washington DC restaurant on 19 Kids and Counting "Duggar Growing Pains."

  1. Thank you for posting the link to the interview. I appreciate Kirk for his willing to speak Biblical truth. If only I were so brave.

    2. Kirk is no different than anyone else who claims their beliefs are based on Biblical truth. That's why there are so many denominations and independent this and that. They all think they're right. He's simply picked someone else's theology that suits him.

    3. Pray and ask God to give you the boldness to share the Gospel. I have become bolder in recent years, and you can, too.

    4. 11:31 Why should anyone believe that your take on the Gospel is any better than anyone else's?

  2. Kirk Cameron, boy wonder of the TV screen, now tries to share his extreme fundamentalist views, but what comes out is bizarre. I've heard enough from him already, thanks anyway. I'm not surprised he's hanging out with the Duggars and vice versa.

    1. I'm sort of surprised that Jinger and Jeremy would hang out with him but guess they want the attention.

    2. "Extreme fundamentalist views" - in other words he says what the Bible says.

    3. Oh please.. he's not 'extreme' not sure if you're a Christian or not but stop it with the labels that all Christians are extreme.. talk to the Muslims if you want to know about extreme. I know a few personally and you don't mess with their Quran!

    5. Nice word choices - extreme, bizarre. Would you like Christians to label your beliefs?

    6. You clearly have not watched or read anything regarding Kirk Cameron.

    7. Those denying seem not to have watched or read anything regarding Kirk Cameron either.

    8. You are just mad at Kirk because he preaches the truth. It doesn't sugar coat it to make the "woke" crowd happy.

    9. I don't know how you can give another adjective to a lot of the things Kirk has said, other than "extreme" or "bizarre." Maybe "nonsensical"? Possibly "entertaining"? Who can figure him out.

    10. Kirk Cameron preaches the truth and its up to you to listen. Sounds like he said something that offended you lol.

    11. @6:38 Kirk Cameron preaches what HE thinks is the truth. But he doesn't think the way a lot of other people think, that's for sure.

    12. So did Kirk Cameron go to any theological seminary (no...), or did he just start one day preaching this "truth" (yes...)? In other words, he came up with his own ideas and already had a famous name, so now he thinks he can "preach" and we're supposed to believe what he says and follow him. I have all sorts of "false prophets" verses coming to mind here...

    13. Kirk is a good preacher. If you read the Bible, you'll see he follows it and preaches the word. I think that's what bothering people. It doesn't fall in with what you believe or should I say "support". Just because it law, it doesn't make it right. It was all about votes. And at one point slavery was law.

    14. 11:04, that's what the early Christians did! And if Kirk's preaching is saying what you can read yourself if you crack open a Bible, then it's not his own ideas.

      Delete
    15. 12:39 wait, what? It's not suppose to ever be a pastors own idea. You are suppose to preach from the Bible.

      Delete
    16. 5:32, exactly. I was responding to someone who said Kirk just preaches his own ideas - but I read the things he says when I read the Bible. He's not just making things up.

    2. Do you have a problem with everyone else being on TV? Or is it you need attention?

    3. Yes, Jeremy is a Pastor; but I’m not sure if he’s a practicing Pastor! The Duggars/in-law Duggars seem to attend some type of Seminary, receive the Pastor title but who knows where they preach???

    4. 1:24 Jeremy studied. He is not part of IBLP.
