John Duggar's Plane Crash

Most of you know that John-David Duggar is a pilot. Last October, while flying Abbie and Grace, he crashed. The crash took place outside Waverly, Tennessee, which is between Memphis and Nashville. John and Abbie released an official statement to Celebuzz, letting fans know that they walked away uninjured from the crash. The statement can be found on the Celebuzz website.

Future Pilot Gracie?

For a number of years, the Duggars have attended the EAA AirVenture air show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The event was canceled in 2020, but it's back this year, and John Duggar took Abbie and little Grace. Below is a photo of Grace, as well as links to snapshots from past years.

Abbie Turns 29

Meet Gracie Duggar

Celebrating 3 Duggar Anniversaries

The first week of November is a busy time for the Duggars, with two birthdays and three anniversaries. Jessa and Ben Seewald celebrated their five-year anniversary on November 1st, John-David and Abbie Duggar were married exactly one year yesterday (November 3rd), and Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo look forward to their three-year anniversary tomorrow (November 5th).

Duggars at the Grand Canyon

Did you ever watch "On the Road with 16 Children"? That was the name of the Duggars' fourth reality TV special, which aired in June 2006. The family, with Johannah as the youngest, took a road trip from Arkansas to Los Angeles, with stops at the Grand Canyon, Disneyland, and other attractions.

Thirteen years have passed, and the Duggars decided it was time to visit the Grand Canyon again. Pilot John-David Duggar flew some of the family out to meet up with Jana, who is on a road trip. They spent yesterday enjoying the breathtaking sights.

Season Finale Airs Monday

We have some good news and some not-to-good news. Let's start with the not-so-good news. Monday's new episode of Counting On will be the season finale. Isn't that too bad? But the good news is that TLC is rerunning all six shows that have aired so far this season, followed by the two-hour season finale featuring John Duggar and Abbie Burnett's wedding. (Full TV listings can be found on our Showtimes page.)

The network has not yet set a start date for the next season, but rest assured that the Duggars are still filming.

Duggars #2 and #3 Turn 29

What a coincidence it is that the Duggars always kick off the year by celebrating the birthdays of their first set of twins (Jana and John on January 12th) and end the year by celebrating the birthdays of their second set of twins (Jedidiah and Jeremiah on December 30th). Wishing Jana and John Duggar a very happy 29th birthday!

Ugly Christmas Sweater Party at the Duggars'

Have you ever attended an ugly Christmas sweater party? Jim Bob and Michelle, Jana, and a few of the younger Duggar children are on a mission trip in Central America, but the Duggars back home threw an ugly Christmas sweater party at the "big house." Their get-together included Italian food, a baking competition, a white elephant gift exchange, board games, and lots of ugly sweaters.

Duggar Wedding #8 Airs Tonight

John Duggar and Abbie Burnett have been Mr. and Mrs. for three weeks. This evening at 10 ET/9 CT, TLC is airing a 30-minute episode featuring their Oklahoma wedding. If you can't tune in during that time, the network will re-air the show three times (late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning). Full TV listings can be found on our Showtimes page. You won't want to miss this Duggar wedding episode!

We know you all are wondering when the new season of Counting On will begin. TLC still has not announced the date, but we will let you know as soon as they do.

The Future Mr. and Mrs. John Duggar

It has been more than nine weeks since John-David Duggar proposed to girlfriend Abbie Burnett, which means that wedding bells will soon be ringing. As with past weddings, the Duggars have chosen not to publicly announce the wedding date. When do you predict John and Abbie will become husband and wife?

Between Josh and Anna Duggar (September 26th--they just celebrated 10 years!), Jessa and Ben Seewald (November 1st), and Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo (November 5th), fall weddings have become quite common among the Duggar couples. John will be the eighth of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's 19 children to get married--four boys and four girls.

We know some of you have been eager to see a photo of Kendra Duggar's baby bump. This isn't a close up shot, but it's better than nothing, right? Pilot John-David Duggar recently took a group to Byrd's Adventure Center in Ozark, Arkansas, for a "fly-in" meal.
