A Third Little Duggar Baby

Merry Christmas to our blog readers! As Jedidiah and Katey Duggar await the arrival of their twins any day, Jeremiah and Hannah Duggar are looking forward to welcoming their third child in 2025. They just announced that this little one, a girl, is due to join the family in late spring. She will join sisters Brynley Duggar, who turns two today, and Brielle Duggar, who will turn one in February. 

Twins Coming Soon

Jedidiah and Katey Duggar are less than a month out from their January 19th due date. That means that their twins could arrive any day. They filmed a video featuring a tour of their nursery and a question and answer session. For those who haven’t heard, the twins are both girls. When do you think these Duggar babies will make their grand entrance? 

Jana's Bachelorette Trip

Happy Thanksgiving to our readers in the United States! We hope you have a wonderful day celebrating with family and friends.

For her bachelorette trip, Jana Duggar flew to California with a group of Duggar ladies just a couple weeks before her wedding. Michelle Duggar, Joy-Anna Forsyth, Jessa Seewald and baby George, Abbie Duggar, Johannah Duggar, Jennifer Duggar, Jordyn Duggar, and Josie Duggar all headed to the West Coast to visit Jinger Vuolo. Their journey began with a run-in with local law enforcement, but they didn't miss their flight. While in California, Michelle confronted a thief. Jana just uploaded footage from the trip to her YouTube account.

Jason Duggar's Wedding

Jason Duggar married Maddie Grace yesterday in Newport, Tennessee. Maddie is a Tennessee native, although the newlyweds will live in Arkansas. Their 300 guests were treated to Italian food, including cheesecake and ice cream, as the couple will honeymoon in Italy.

According to the People Magazine article about their wedding, Jason and Maddie "met" via social media in December 2023 and made their relationship public about five months later. Jason proposed on the beach on August 24th. Thirteen of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's 19 children are now married. Since 2014, there have only been four years (2015, 2019, 2020, and 2023) in which the Duggar family did not have a wedding. So far, the most weddings they have had in one year has been two.

 

Update Video from Jana

What has Jana Duggar been up to? The second eldest of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s 19 children just shared an update video. This is the first video that Jana has posted to YouTube in three years. In it, she shares some of the projects that she and her siblings have been working on at the family property. 

Jinger Duggar Vuolo to Release Another Book

You read that headline correctly. Jinger (Duggar) Vuolo is in fact slated to release a new book. Her first book was Growing Up Duggar, which she penned with Jana, Jill, and Jessa before she was married. Then she and Jeremy co-wrote The Hope We Hold: Finding Peace in the Promises of God, which they followed with a children's book called You Can Shine So Bright. Her January 2023 memoir was Becoming Free Indeed: My Story of Disentangling Faith From Fear.

Jinger's next book is called People Pleaser: Breaking Free From the Burden of Imaginary Expectations. It is currently set to hit the shelves on January 14, 2025. You can pre-order this title on Amazon.

Update from Jed and Katey

It has been over a year since Jed and Katey Duggar welcomed their second child, Nora Kate Duggar, just one year after their first, Truett Duggar. They celebrated with a strawberry themed party, which a number of Duggar family members attended. They uploaded a video to YouTube that shows footage from the party as well as a life update. 

Jessa and Ben on a Podcast

Jessa and Ben Seewald don’t spend much time in the public eye these days, but they recently stepped out to be guests on a podcast. They chatted with Elisha and Katie Voetberg on the Voetbergs’ podcast, “Now that We’re a Family.” They talk about their life as parents of five young children and what they prioritize. Ben has been a pastor for four years, and Jessa is busy homeschooling. They also discuss balancing family relationships with Ben’s church duties, as well as other topics.
