Duggars #2 and #3 Turn 29

What a coincidence it is that the Duggars always kick off the year by celebrating the birthdays of their first set of twins (Jana and John on January 12th) and end the year by celebrating the birthdays of their second set of twins (Jedidiah and Jeremiah on December 30th). Wishing Jana and John Duggar a very happy 29th birthday!

    That is coincidental that the birthdays are like that, one set at the very beginning of the year and the other set at the very end of the year. I never realized that! Happy 29th Jana and John. My oldest turns 29 next month.

    Dear Jana and John-David, happy 29th birthday. My parents and I have watched you guys since 2004 and still watch you to this day. Jana we pray you find Mr. Right and start a courtship.       A husband is not a requirement for happiness or fulfillment. If Jana finds someone special, great. If not, she'll do just fine- as long as other people leave her alone about it.

      Let's be honest, though. Most single women would be thrilled to find that special someone. Even those who are well-adjusted and happy with their lives as-is.

      Why would she be in a big hurry to get married?, since she seems perfectly content in her life. When the girls in this family get married they become stay at home Moms and the husbands become stay at home husbands. The girls become Moms right away and maybe Jana has a different vision for her life. She seems to enjoy the freedom that comes with being single. She goes on mission trips, has a huge beautiful garden, is loaded with all kinds of skills, and seems to live an exciting, adventurous life on her own terms. I for one admire her free spirit ways.

      10:53, I mean from what she said when she was younger she WANTED to get married a be a stay at home mom. That just hasn’t happed.

      @7:55- I have never polled all single women to find out their preferences. I have known quite a few women in my life who never had a desire to get married or have children. One of them was my great-aunt, who I admired a great deal. She always said that she didn't need a man to complete her.

      9:53, no not everyone, Jana however has said many times that she wants to. Although that was before Josh’s cheating came out, and after that she said something along the lines of “who can you really trust?”, so I think that kind of put her off from wanting to get married.

    I think its neat that my niece and nephew who are twins share the same birthday as Jana and John David. They turned 14 on the 12th.

    Happy belated birthdays to John and Jana! With such lovely names for all the children, why do they insist on referring to them as numbers? They really are a beautiful family and I wish them God's sweetest blessings.

      The Duggars don't insist on referring to them as numbers. The blogger uses the numbers for those who aren't familiar with the family to know where they fall in age order. It's nothing personal (or impersonal, haha).
