Duggars Relocate to be Near Newest Daughter Josie

Josie Brooklyn was born on December 10th, 2009 via emergency C-section. Mother Michelle had contracted  Preeclampsia, which caused her blood pressure to rise. Although she was over three months early and weighed only 1 pound 6 ounces, Josie's health is improving. She is in a stable condition and has been able to keep down breast milk. The doctors predict that she will spend a few months in the neonatal intensive care unit at Little Rock's University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Meanwhile, Jim Bob and Michelle and their other 18 children have temporarily relocated to Little Rock to avoid the 200-mile drive from their home in Tontitown. They spent Christmas by Josie's bedside and are very grateful to the friend who opened his home to their family during the holidays. Jim Bob and Michelle wish to thank the public for their prayers and well-wishes for Josie's recovery.
