It won't be long before Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo officially enter the hectic but rewarding world of parenthood. Jinger is nearing the 39-week mark, which means her little girl could arrive any day. This mama-to-be is all smiles at she shows off her full-term baby bump. We know that she and Jeremy would appreciate your prayers as they prepare to welcome their daughter.

Haha. It says the baby is the size of a pumpkin and that's what it looks like happened.....she swallowed a pumpkin! Praying for a no-complications delivery and and healthy baby and mama.
ReplyDeleteThey could make Pumpkin her middle name. Maybe it could be a theme, instead of all the same beginning letter. All their first or middle names of their children could be a fruit or vegetable, or a spice, like "jinger". Penelope Pumpkin. Charotte Cinnamon. Ralph rutabaga. Carl Coconut. Hannah Bananna.
Delete4:06, I hope you’re kidding
DeleteBarbara Bayleaf? :) I think they will go for some Italian name. It would be cool if all 2018 grandbabies's names started with G - Gideon, Garrett, Giovanna (Guiliana)... If Jill was pregnant already and could make it by New Years, she could have a Gabriel.
Delete8:54, that would be cool! Giuliana is so pretty (although she'd have to go through life telling people how to spell it!).
DeleteGwendolyn for Jingers baby, and Garfield for Jill's baby.
DeleteGertrude or Griselda. Possibly Gretchen.
DeleteI am not kidding. Totally serious.
DeleteOregano is Italian. Or Garlic, to keep the G names going.
DeleteGiuliana Garlic.
DeleteI think she and Jeremy will make wonderful parents, but I have to admit I'm not looking forward to another scary Duggar home birth. I sometimes wonder if the Duggar girls realize that childbirth doesn't have to be traumatic and agonizing or a badge of shame if you give birth in a hospital with pain relief.
ReplyDeleteDebbie just because you have a home birth doesn’t mean it’ll be traumatic. Just as many unplanned traumatic things happen in hospitals. The Duggar girls just don’t practice great safety IMO during their births, by using CPMs.
DeleteNor is it a badge of shame having a homebirth. Hospital births can be traumatic and chaotic, even with pain relief. That was my experience with a hospital birth. No one can predict that a homebirth will go bad or a hospital birth will go well. Every birthing experience is different.
DeleteAnon @ 5:00 PM I have to disagree with that blanket statement on all CPMs not being qualified. I have had 3 home births with a very skilled CPM. It all depends on the training or lack thereof. Personally after comparing my own stellar experiences with a CPM to the apparent lack of training of whoever is attending these poor-outcome Duggar births, I do wonder just who is attending these girls. It definitely gives CPMs a bad name as suggested in your comment. CNMs can only attend homebirth in certain states, and even then they have to have their overseeing OB on board which is uncommon at best. Usually with a CNM you are looking at a birthing center birth.
DeleteThere's a good reason that about 20 states & US territories do not allow "direct entry midwives" or CPM's to hold licenses there. It's considered an "entry level" position in the realm of midwifery. The North American Registry of Midwives uses that exact term to describe a CPM. Would you go to an "entry level" doctor or dentist? Probably not, given a choice.
DeleteY'all seem to think their parents make them have home births but Michael had her children in the hospital with doctors
DeleteJinger looks lovely. Looking forward to seeing baby girl Vuolo. God Bless.
ReplyDeleteJoan,Marion and Marilyn
Way to go, Jinger, you're rocking the skin tight shirts:-)
ReplyDeletejinger Isn’t any different from her sisters after all. It’s looking more like she will have a big baby and if she has a home birth a predict a complication.
ReplyDeleteShe’s not nearly as big as Jill or Joy were, and she’s a little smaller than Jessa was. Also I’ve known people with large babies who were delivered at home. When that many things happen in the same family, you should probably look at who they’re having deliver their kids. The Duggars use CPMs, instead of CNMs who have FAR better training. CPMs aren’t even legal in many places.
DeleteThat's not all baby. Remember there's the sack and all kinds of fluid that comes out.
DeleteBelly size has not neccesarily anything to do with the height/weight of the baby. I look massive from the side, but you cannot tell I am pregnant from behind. I haven't gained a lot of weight and the baby is exactly in the 50th percentile but it all accumulates at the bump and nowhere else. I also have a short torso, so there is just not as much space where it could go but out.
DeleteThat said, the Duggar daughters (Jill, Jessa, Joy) all had significantly bigger babies than the norm for 42 weeks (I believe they all went past their due dates). We have no idea if there were underlying medical conditions (such as untreated gestational diabetes), plain over eating or just big babies. So it could go either way with Jinger.
Just realized Jeremy parents names are Charles and Diana. It would be funny if they named there daughter Charlotte.
ReplyDeleteAww, I love that name!
DeleteWhy? Prince Charles is now married to Camilla. Charles & Diana divorced and Diana sadly died decades ago.
Delete😆😆😆😆
DeleteAnonymous 6:04, be nice! While what you said is true it was negative and unkind.
DeleteAnon 6:04 wow why so defensive? I was just making a light-hearted funny comment. But even if Prince Charles is married to Camilla now Charles and Diana are still Princess Charlotte grandparents.
Deletepraying for a safe delivery. hopefully at a hospital.
ReplyDeleteAny guesses on what the name will be?
ReplyDeleteI think Victoria Vuolo sounds adorable!
DeleteI think Nicole for her first or middle name, or Jael
DeleteI think Jessica since her and jeremy's names both start with "j" and also she is so very close to Jessa and it incorporates her name as well.
DeleteVanessa Nicole Vuolo
DeleteWillow Vuolo
DeleteI can't wait to see this little girl, I just wish U a happy, healthy, and most importantly safe birth, eh how about Justine or Elizabeth??? JK, take care Jinger, U take care of yourself!!!!! Jeremy, I know U will be great to, I believe in U!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the name Justine. That is adorable.
DeleteIs she in Texas? I hope she goes to the hospital for the delivery. I don't think she looks as large as Joy did.
ReplyDeleteUnless she brought her chalk board with her then yes, she’s back home in Texas
DeleteShe doesn’t look as large as Joy but that doesn’t mean she won’t have a big baby. Size isn’t all that comes to play.
DeleteDear Duggars, I've can't wait to see baby Vuolo gender reveal party and also the birth on Counting On next season. I love the show. Natasha B
ReplyDeleteHectic?
ReplyDeleteCaring for babies can be hectic sometimes especially if there are multiples like I had or there are other issues to deal with. God bless all mothers and give them the strength they need and wisdom in caring for their precious children.
DeleteYes, hectic! Especially when they're not sleeping through the night yet. Been there.
DeleteAbsolutely hectic for some of us! My cousin had a 1 1/2 yr old already when her twins were born. My first baby had colic and screamed 4 hrs every night for almost a year. She also did not sleep more than 1 hr at a time til she was 18 months old. Some babies are extremely high needs. A good mom responds to her child. Other children are very 'easy' so perhaps that is what you were lucky enough to have. Or perhaps you had a lot of help, which is also great, but some of us have no help at all.
DeleteWon't be long before you and Jeremy welcome your baby girl into the world! Your both going to be amazing parents. Praying for a quick and safe delivery.
ReplyDeleteIt may be the size of a pumpkin but it sure isn't the shape of one, or you'd never get it out of there!
ReplyDeleteThese examples are normally what the baby is in fetal position, and occasionally to show the length
DeleteLol!
DeleteIt is normally length or weight. Some apps just use the verb "size" and you have to use common sense to fgure out what they mean exactly ;-)
DeleteCongratulations Jinger and Jeremy and I will pray for you and families. God big blessed you and be safe.
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited about the baby coming soon! My niece is due about the same time. It would be fun if the babies were born on the same day!
ReplyDeleteMay God bless the birth of your baby girl!
ReplyDeletePraying for a safe delivery! You look great!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for the Vuolo's I hope the birth is smooth and easy! Ellie just wondering when Josiah and Lauren's anniversary will be added to the blog within the birthday/anniversary tab?
ReplyDeleteTime 9:45PM Tues 7/10/18
ReplyDeleteJing looks so nice. Can't wait for her & Jere s baby girl to be born soon. GO GIRL ROCK THAT BABY BUMP..
Praying for an easy delivery! Can not wait to see this beauty!!
ReplyDeleteShe's so cute! Pray for a safe delivery and healthy mom and baby!
ReplyDeleteYou look wonderful jinger, can't wait to meet your precious little one wishing you a blessed and healthy delivery God bless you both
ReplyDelete9 pounds?
ReplyDeleteI don’t think more than 8.8
DeleteI think her baby will be between 8 and 9 lbs.
DeleteI'm guessing 7
Delete7lbs 11oz is my guess
DeleteI think 8lbs 4oz
DeleteMy guess is 11 pounds.
DeleteWow. It really is anytime! I was thinking she was due in August:)
ReplyDeleteShe announced in early January. Usually people announce at 3 months pg (except Jill, she likes to announce pretty early)
DeleteGoing by her chalkboard calculations, she's due at the end of next week. Around July 20. My friend is about 2 weeks behind Jinger and also having a girl!
DeleteKeeping you in my prayers Jinger, how exciting for you💖
ReplyDeleteHere’s to a labor and delivery without complications, a beautiful health baby and a healthy mom. Can’t wait to see the first photos and hear what they name her.
ReplyDeleteShe looks tired, bless her. Which is no surprise at this stage. I wish them all the very best with the labor and delivery of their little treasure.
ReplyDeleteJinger looks great can't wait to meet princess voulo.
ReplyDeleteYou look so beautiful and make sure to get epidural enjoy the process prayers for you husband and daughter.
ReplyDeleteYou don’t even know if she’s going to a hospital, she may not WANT an epidural, and just because you have one doesn’t mean you’ll enjoy the process/just because you dont have one doesn’t mean you won’t. Birth is a very individual experience.
DeleteWas there really a need to pick on this poster well wishes? Be nice!
DeleteI agree 9:38. People need to stop pushing their preferences on others.
DeleteWow she looks fantastic. It is important to look good. Even if you are pregnant. Others could learn from her.
ReplyDeleteWhy is it important? It's okay to not look good. To not wear makeup. To look tired. It's okay.
DeleteWhy is it important to look good? Sometimes you’re tired, maybe sick, maybe you don’t have time because you’ve got more important stuff to do.
DeleteWhat’s important is to be good on the inside and to try and be healthy.
Oh my goodness!
DeleteWhy are "looks" so important to you? It's better to be a good person than to look "fantastic".
DeleteJeeez..looking good is not everything! She sure won't give a care about her looks once she goes through delivery
DeleteThis person comments the same thing on every pregnancy post, just ignore them
DeleteI'm sorry, but I'm pregnant with baby 6, and I am sick and tired. I don't look good but first trimester is rough and I don't care. I might be too pale or whatever, but I'm raising young children and nurturing a baby in the womb, my looks are not top priority. Hopefully when I feel better I will look somewhat better. There's no pregnancy glow going on here. :) I care about how I feel more than how I look right now.
DeleteFirst girl in the family. So happy.
ReplyDeleteMackynzie and Meredith don’t count?? Why? That’s very cruel.
DeleteJosh and Anna have 2 daughters
DeleteOh my. I gather you don't think Josh has daughters. Why are so many people claiming this will be the "first granddaughter" for Jim Bob and Michelle?
DeleteThere are already two girls
DeleteYou should specify the "Vuolo" family, because she certainly won't be the first girl in the "Duggar" family because Josh and Anna have two daughters.
DeleteGirls are so special!
DeleteIt is the first girl in a while, not the first girl.
DeleteThe Duggars are not the only families involved with the married couples, the original poster was right this little baby will be the first girl on the Vuolo side of the family. No one was saying Mackenzie and Meredith don’t count. Someone recently made a comment about Jeremy and Jinger visiting the “Duggars” a lot but questioned if they visit Jeremy’s family. I can only guess that the In Laws of the various Duggar children do not want their lives scrutinised the way the “Duggars” seem to want. It would seem that once someone marries a Duggar everyone seems to think the other side of the family does not matter, that the only opinions that matter are that of the Duggars.
DeleteI feel bad for the other 2 daughters. This isn't the 1st post I've seen about the 1st girl in the family.
DeletePraying for her & baby
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to hearing news of their baby girl's birth! So excited for them!
ReplyDeleteThe baby clearly hasn't dropped yet so I don't think it will be early, maybe a day or two. Exciting.
ReplyDeleteSometimes babies drop in a matter of minutes and then it’s go time!
DeleteHaving done midwifery the firstborn baby often drop down up to 2 weeks before delivery and it doesn't mean it's time to go. My firstborn dropped 10days before he was born! For some reason subsequent babies, can drop significantly within a few hours and it can be time to go. Of course babies heads can become engaged within mins and out again but a significant drop is more gradual over hours and sometimes it can still be few days before labour is activated as weight of baby gradually presses on cervix.
DeleteMy friend is also pregnant, due a couple weeks after Jinger. Her baby dropped a month ago (maybe a little longer than that). She's had some contractions but no actual labor yet. Still a few weeks until she's due so we'll see if the baby comes early.
DeletePrayed, excited for them!!
ReplyDeleteSo awesome! I like your fruit comparison board. Very cute. And very artistic.
ReplyDeleteBeing a mom of 4 boys, I can say that Jinger is still a little while away. She hasn't dropped yet, and most mothers to be also have spots around their eyes which is called "Masking" don't see that on her. Sending prayers for a safe delivery and very healthy baby.
ReplyDeleteShe's wearing makeup. Maybe she's hiding it? I still have those masks..ugh..
DeleteNot all mothers get those spots, darker complexions are more likely to have them....Jinger is fair.
DeleteJinger looks stunning. Baby Vuolo will be a beauty with jinger being ao gorgeous and Jeremy's good looks. Cannot wait to meet their little princess. Can anyone tell me if she is delivering in Arkansas or Texas?
ReplyDeleteShe’s back home in Texas so I would assume there
DeleteJinger is my favorite Duggar she is most normal out of all of them. I don’t see them having more than 3 children. I see Jill, Jessa, joy and Kendra having at least 5. I hope Lauren isn’t pressured to get pregnant right away, but I think she will get pregnant before Duchess Meghan.
ReplyDeleteLauren wil be pregnant as soon as possible
DeleteThere’s nothing wrong with having more than three kids, and Jinger has said in the past that she wants lots of kids. Their family size is up to her and Jeremy, not some stranger.
DeleteMeghan is already 36 so she has to get crackin
DeleteAnon at 505PM: It seems some "fans" of Jinger are trying to force her into the "rebel Duggar" mold and I hope she doesn't get too much backlash if she fails to meet expectations (as she's already starting to get for her baby bump pics).
DeleteSo far the only "rebellious" things Jinger have done is wear pants (not even get a nose ring like Jill) and not get pregnant before one year. She hasn't gotten a job or gone to college. She may have married a more progressive man but she seems to have embraced the "wife and mommy following hubby" role just as much as her married sisters have. I do NOT think that's at all a bad thing, but nothing about her married life so far screams "rebel" to me.
So I'm not sure she plans on having the socially acceptable 2.75 kids and no more. I doubt she'll have 19 kids (just because it's very rare to be that fertile) but I won't be surprised if she has more than 3. As long as she and Jeremy can support them, what's the problem?
I have 2 children. I always wanted more, but that wasn't in the Lord's plan. They will have as many or as few children as the Lord sees fit to bless them.
DeleteAnon 5:05, I was just giving my predictions, do you really think she cares what strangers think of her family planning?
DeleteWhy are the others not normal? Because they want more than 3 kids?
Delete11:26 PM that's not necessarily true. Depending on the age her mother, aunts, and grandmothers went into menopause she found have a decade or more. A friend of mine had her first at 40 naturally. Her mother at 37 had her first. And her grandmother had her last child at 51. Yes, do the risks of down syndrome increase? Yes from .5% to 1%. Do you want to extra careful what you eat? Yes. But there are many women who have children later in life than 36 and there are many 20 year olds that struggle with infertility.
Delete5:54, you could give you opinion without saying “Jinger is the most normal” which is EXTREMELY rude.
DeleteOlder mothers can have healthy babies. I had two after age 36, no problem.
DeleteBut by the way, it is Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex. She is NOT Duchess Meghan.
Anon 5:57, yes you are correct. If people do things that are not done my the majority of people in a society, than yes you will be considered abnormal. Since the majority of Couples have 2.75 children, then having more than 3 children is considered abnormal.
Delete10:01, I don’t see how those studies are very accurate, since a lot of those parents could be first timers who are still planning on having more kids, or couples with 2 or 3 still planning on having more.
DeleteThen I guess I'm abnormal
DeleteFrom personal experience, if you have more than two children, you get looked upon in public like a crazy person. We have 5 and pregnant with baby number 6, and we get lots of stares, comments, and people start counting. 5 or 6 is not alot really. What matters is each families decision. Not everyone wants a big family and not everyone wants a small family. God's plan is different for every family.
DeleteAnother huge baby. Another emergency c section?
ReplyDeleteI hope not. She doesn't look as large as Joy did.
DeleteNot necessarily
DeleteIt won't be long until you and Jeremy welcome your baby girl into the world! You're both going to be great parents! Wishing you an easy and quick delivery.
ReplyDeleteSo exciting!!! You look beautiful!!! Praying all goes well!
ReplyDeletePrayers for a safe delivery
ReplyDeleteYou both are going to be amazing parents! God bless!
ReplyDeletePrayers
ReplyDeleteHave a safe delivery and healthy baby girl and mom stay strong vuolos
ReplyDeleteEver since the news that Jinger was pregnant I've been eagerly anticipating the birth. Can't wait to see their baby and everything to follow, as their little girl grows up.
ReplyDeleteOh she looks good. Thats great she made it this far.
ReplyDeleteThe biological Duggar daughters so far don't seem to be 'built' for home deliveries. BTW, I had my children in a hospital and never had an epidural. Epidurals aren't automatic when delivering in a hospital. I didn't have any pain or numbing medication during my deliveries. The physician has already SPOKEN with YOU before hand about what delivery experience you would prefer to have. Being in a hospital is a safer bet because if things don't go exactly as desired by the mother OR the physician, all emergency options are right there at hand. It is a consideration not for you, the mother, but the for welfare of your child.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I've had five hospital births so far. And I've had three natural. I had nurses and doctors ask what my birthing plan was, and they were more than happy to stick to it as long as nothing went wrong. You can get the birth you want with little intervention as long as everything is going well. You don't have to be confined to a bed just necbeca you go to a hospital.
DeleteBeing in the hospital doesn't guarantee things will go the way the mother wants, even if there's not an emergency. My friends and I had (different) doctors going on vacation the next day who wanted to hurry things along so they could go home. It made for very unpleasant birth experiences.
DeleteSome people feel more comfortable birthing at home, and there is nothing wrong with that. Birth is a biological process, not a medical emergency.
DeleteAnon at 601AM: That's unfortunate that the doctors didn't treat you right, but as others such as Anon at 208M have posted is NOT a universal hospital birth experience. There are many other choices than just "hospital birth with every intervention possible to hurry things along" and "home birth with no interventions at all unless there is an emergency". Many "hospital vs home birth" discussions unfortunately start out with the assumption there are only those two choices on the table, and that skews the discussion.
DeleteIt's very important to choose a health care provider you trust to actually respect your choices. Though I realize there are many areas of the country where there is a shortage of OB providers, and finding such a provider isn't easy.
Anonymous 12:21, in many cases there are only two options. Actually where I live there isn't a midwife within an hour that will do a home birth. So the only option is a hospital birth. It might not be idea, but I've had five hospital births and it worked out. My first was preemie and I was giving alot of medication to try and stop labor and I was in the hospital for days, before her birthday. It was awful, but you do what you have to. I wish there were birthing centers around here but there just isn't. And I don't like that I don't personally know the doctor's on call because the hospital is a teaching hospital they have alot of student doctor's. I have requested no student doctor's after a bad experience with one. But I try to labor at home mostly and then go to the hospital at the end. I live 5 minutes away. But it doesn't always work.
DeleteI am so excited for this birth, Jinger and Jeremy are the one couple who have followed their own path and I look forward to seeing their journey as parents. Jinger is absolutely glowing, she and Jeremy are going to be incredible parents.
ReplyDeletePraying for a safe delivery for both mom and baby. Looking forward to seeing pictures.
ReplyDeleteis this baby 1 or 2
ReplyDeleteThis is Jinger and Jeremy's first child.
DeleteThis is Jinger and Jeremy's first child.
DeleteOnly one pumpkin, if the board is correct.
DeleteI pray for a safe delivery no matter where you choose to deliver. I pray for a healthy baby and a healthy momma. God will take care of y'all, so learn heavily on him. Jeremy, I didn't forget about you and your duties. Just be there to support Jinger, give her lots of love and let her know how good she's doing. Y'all are going to be great parents. Many prayers are being lifted up.
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing 7lb 11oz named Grace.
ReplyDeleteI think it will be 9 pounds and they will name him Charles James.
Delete1:36, the baby is a girl
DeleteUm..it’s a girl.
DeleteDo you think they will really name her Charles ❓‼️
DeleteWhy not? The Boys named as daughter Michael, so why not Charles for a girl. I think there is a trend right now to name girls trading boy names. Also, "old lady names", like Hattie, Ethel, Flora, Clara,Eugenia, Cora, etc.
DeleteDarn auto-correct! I meant "Bates family", not "Boys". Also "traditional", not "trading".
DeleteI’m thinking between 6 and a half and 7 pounds. My daughter in law had a good size baby bump and our wee grandson was 6lbs. 6 oz.
ReplyDeleteWishing them all the best with labour and delivery, can’t wait to hear what they name their beautiful baby.
Is the baby register I saw online a true registry by Jinger and Jeremy? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI have a gut feeling that they're going to name her Isabella
ReplyDeleteGertrude or Griselda. Possibly Gretchen.
DeleteYou are joking , I presume!!
DeleteI think Angelia is a beautiful Italian name meaning angel, messenger of God.
ReplyDeleteDear Jinger & Jeremy, I can't wait for baby Voulo, gender reveal and birth to be on TV. I know I will like whatever name you choose. Prayers for a healthy baby. Natasha B
ReplyDeleteCome on already Jump start Labor push that Baby out
ReplyDeleteLauren
ReplyDeleteStephanie
ReplyDeleteI don't know who ,what ,why , where or how I got this idea.....
ReplyDeleteI think the name will be Summer.....💕💖
7 lbs 4 oz - Christine Faith or Faith Christine
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful name. I love it.
DeleteAnyone know why the Duggar girls are against hospital births? Do we know if they see an OBGYN for prenatal care? They seem to have an awful lot of emergencies.
ReplyDelete7 lbs 11 oz...name will be Justine Grace. I think she will be born on the 20th.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is 8 lb, named Emily Diana, and they will have her on July 19th.
DeleteI think she will be born on July 21 and be nine pounds. Maybe they will name her after the grandmother's, Diana Michelle.
DeleteEleven pounds. Named Engelbertha. Born on July 20.
Delete8 lbs 10oz, 19” long
ReplyDeleteIt’s a girl
ReplyDeleteHave been praying for both Jinger, the baby and Jeremy for months. My whole family are very excited and praying so safe and prompt delivery for both Jinger and her new sweet bundle of joy. God is truly focussing his blessings upon them both now. Take Care xo
ReplyDeleteLove your hair cut!
ReplyDeleteI dreamt of Jinger's birth the other night. Woke up thinking of the name Mary Annalisa. My best to you all.
ReplyDeleteMary Annalisa is a beautiful name
Delete8lbs 12oz, 20” long
ReplyDelete
