Wow, you two have done a GREAT job on your new home. You're both very talented and such hard workers. May God continue to bless you and guide you. You are beautiful examples of Christ-like love and I can only imagine what wonderful parents you're both going to be. May God bless you both!! <3 <3
Joy. What a beautiful home. The colors you have chosen are just magnificent. did you hand make the kitchen island? It is beautiful and quite creative. Joy, you look beautiful as you're carrying your first baby congratulations on your close to complete home and soon the arrival of your first baby.
Paint comes in a whole lot of colors other than white. Look at all those colors on the paint chips. Someone must be buying them or they'd only sell white.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! This is the reason I don’t have any social media accounts. I can’t imagine you would stand face to face with Joy, while she beamed with pride, showing off her PAID FOR, newly renovated, FIRST HOME that she and her husband have worked SO HARD ON.
Really? You do know they are still working on their house? Joy is also very pregnant. I don't know about you but when I was carrying my child I was tired.
It really would have been better to wait to show us the House after it was completed. I’m afraid I put myself in her shoes, with a baby due so soon, and I got very anxious for her. So much mess and finish work to do. I think their house is going to be lovely and perfect when it is done, but I would have nightmares about getting the home finished. When I had our first baby, everything came to a roaring hault. It’s all about baby.
Just as Joy didn't obsess over wedding details, I get the impression that she doesn't obsess over her house, either. But she really does need to get that nursery organized soon....
Exactly 4:25! My daughter was unexpectedly born 4 weeks early! Only 3 days after my baby shower! Guess what my husband did in the evenings after he left the hospital? He had to get all the baby stuff ready! Only took a couple days working for a bit in the morning and evening.
If I heard my kids saying a word wrong over and over, I'd be correcting them each time until they got it. Michelle has been pregNANT enough times to know how to say it!
She looks ready to have that baby tomorrow. When was that video taken? She's barefoot and in short sleeves. I thought Arkansas had snow right now, or at least has been pretty cold lately.
It's just cold there right now. I think she just stepped outside for a second to show the door, if I'm just checking the mail or something quick I'll go outside barefoot too.
She posted it since the photo was shared of all the couples at their house for John’s birthday last week, so I would assume it was filmed within the past few days.
It is probably warm inside. When you are pregnant, you have your own personal heater. And I wear short sleeves and we had snow outside. Not a big deal.
I wondered if that video was taken in the fall but the trees are bare. I don't know about the bare feet. Puzzling. You can't really go out in bare feet in January, not the January that part of the country has been having.
It’s cold and wet and raining here where I live and I was just out barefoot picking up the newspaper. Don’t be so quick to judge. Besides one person’s “cold” could be another’s idea of perfect. I know the colder it is, the more clouds we have and the greyer the skies are the happier I am. Lol
It has been very cold here where we live and my boys will go outside on the front porch in bare feet. They will even check the mail without putting on shoes. Stepping outside for 10 seconds or less is not going to freeze anyone. Not everyone wears shoes or socks when they are home and why put them on just to step out the front door and re-enter?
My mom goes outside barefoot in the snow in Michigan if it's only for a few minutes. She rarely wears socks and prefers to be barefoot if she's home. Joy ran around barefoot all the time when she was younger. She wore shoes for her wedding because Austin didn't want her to go barefoot.
Those leather sofas get around. Weren't they in the warehouse space where Ben was staying, and/or in Jill's first house when they got back (the Duggar guest house with the pool)? Or were they Jessa's? They look awfully familiar.
9:54 PM -- There was nothing NOT nice about the original comment. It was just pointing out that the family recycles and shares furniture. Nothing wrong with that. My family does the same.
Cute house, but I would have thought they'd have a bigger dining area. What's with the need for "guest bedrooms" when the houses are so small and her family is so large?
They are future rooms for their children that are guest rooms in the meantime. Jinger and Jeremy could stay there when visiting. Most of their family lives locally , so they don’t need a bunch guest rooms for them.
Guest room could very well be a kid's room in the future. It is a three bedroom house- master, baby room and spare room.
It is a small house so one would expect a tiny dining room. As expected, they do not have a real laundry room but a closet with a stacked washer and dryer.
They probably could use the kitchen island to eat as well.
I hope you aren’t meaning to put down her style and taste. It’s coming across that way a little. They don’t need a bigger dinning room if the house isn’t finished and they aren’t having big gatherings yet. She said their living room is full of tools still so that means daily construction. She also might not have picked out a set she likes. Considering a baby is already on the way, their little dinning room table is obviously not meant to be permanent because it seats 2. Give her time to finish the construction, enjoy being married, have a baby, and then decide what size, style, and color she wants. As for guest rooms, the Joy Anna’s family isn’t the he only one who could be visiting. They all have friends all over the world. She said it’s a small room. Maybe Austin’s mom or Michelle is going to sleep over the first few nights after the baby is born to lend a hand. Maybe she have friends who are a young couple that come visit from another state. Don’t make assumptions. If she’s happy and she and Austin made this their dream home, be happy for them and don’t just question every little decision she made. She did it that way because it’s her house and how she wants her house.
The house is on the smaller size, just a starter home. This way they get out of hosting the big family celebrations. :) Her family doesn't live that far away, do they? So I don't think they would have the need to host her family overnight.
This is a pretty young couple, it’s great that they have their own home! Some of her siblings have lived in homes owned by the Duggars,it’s a real accomplishment to own your home and fix it up yourself. Small is a great way to start and always nice to have a spare room for guests. From a resale point of view a three bedroom is the way to go. Great job Joy and Austin!
Really cute! Love the wood around the kitchen bar area. That’s a nice touch. Wishing you and Austin much happiness there! Praying for a speedy and safe delivery for you and your baby!
Isn’t it nice that everyone has different tastes? I would hate to go to friends’ houses and have them all look the same. I hate white or off-white bead board. I think her choice is much better... but what we think doesn’t matter. There is no need to comment on what someone else likes or dislikes. They are free to make their own choices just look you are.
Thank you for the tour. I'm looking forward to the new season of Counting On and I really miss seeing your parents and the rest of the children on 19 Kids and Counting.
House is lovely. Ilove following your family. You are all wonderful and Of has really blessed you all. May he continue to bless and care for all of the family. Don't even give the haters a thought. Someday, we will all come face to face with our creator and he alone will judge us. I would rather have a clear conscious and not be judged for back biting gossip.Continue to be a beacon of hope and stay strong in your faith. My best wishes for all the Duggars. May God bless and keep you.
So sweet of Joy-Anna to take us through her and Austin's home. I love your master bathroom with the double sinks and two big mirrors. It will be a nice home for the Forsyth family...Jane
They have a very cute home. I can relate to moving into a new home and trying to unpack and making it your own. I can't wait to see it all done. I appreciate they have space for guests.
It is a very cute house! Joy thanks for sharing. I am keeping you and that baby blessing in my prayers! I'm glad Austin is taking care of you. Keep putting God first and the rest will fall into place.
First let me say I am all for home births when they are done properly. That being said, since Michelle, Jill, and Jessa all seem to have very large babies which can be harder to birth, it might be a wiser decision to go to a hospital. She could still have an all natural birth but if things go wrong like they did at Jill and Jessas births they would have a hospital staff right there to help.
Me too. My normal, healthy pregnancy ended with a half dozen doctors resuscitating my baby. Now I have a typical two year old thanks to quick intervention.
A lot can go wrong before 12 or 24 hours, especially with a first baby. Why risk something you've taken care of for 9 months, just because you want to stay home?
Very nice, it has come a long way. Imagine Austin originally thought it might be done by the wedding, and it's now January and he's still working on it. Huge undertaking! He's doing a nice job on it!!
9:24. Why say that? They weren’t supposed to pick flooring that you would like. They picked something they like since they live there and paid for the flooring. Do you tell people you know that you don’t like their stuff? People are so rude on social media, and it is so unnecessary. If I don’t like something, I don’t comment on it. The Bible says, “Be ye kind one to another.”
Well I don't like dark floors either, but that seems to be the trend these days. I don't like it when home stores try to sell you something trendy...which will be outdated in 2 years, when some other trend arrives. Buck the trends and go with the classics and timeless. And yes, that space would look bigger with a lighter floor.
Joy wish you and Austin the best.Your home is perfect for you and your new baby.My home is a fixer upper and we have totally changed the bedrooms and the living room.I still have the bathroom and the kitchen. But it has been hard work but a lot of fun to see the results.
How sweet! I was hoping to see the arched ceiling Austin talked about on the phone with Joy when she was on her dress-shopping appointment. So happy for them both!
It wasn't an "arched" ceiling. He was going to take out a beam and the attic space and have that "cathedral" type of ceiling, which he did. They must have solved the problem of how to bear the load of the roof somehow.
Austin also began preparing for being married and having a family when he was still young. He talked about asking his dad what he would like Austin to do before he would give his blessing to be married.
Thank you for showing us the house! It looks so good! It is so much work to get a house put back together and then decorated. It is a great starter home.
Thank you for sharing Joy. You look amazingly beautiful. And your home is very cute. After you finish baby’s room, relax and just take care of you and Austin. Praying for you and baby
So disappointed, I live in the uk & the video won't play, I know in the past others have had this issue but I have never had a problem before. Such a shame as it will be quite a while by the time we get to see Joy & Austins home on the show as we are so far behind. Btw Joy looks like she is having a big baby looking at the photo of her & I know exactly how she feels as exactly 22 years ago I was carrying my son (his birthday is March 7th), he was a big baby 9lb 5oz & 25 inches long (the longest baby born at our local hospital at that time). I was also moving into a new home & know just how stressful it is preparing a new home when so close to your due date. Your doing a great job growing that baby joy & I hope you have a quick healthy delivery & you have all the care you need. I have watched the Duggars since the beginning & followed this blog since Jill & Derek's engagement & although Iv always been a fan I don't always agree with everything they stand for, however recently I have got so angry at the constant nit picking on this blog of people pulling these poor young people apart for ridiculously small things. Everyone seems to have an opinion & often it can be cruel & maybe these people should think when they are saying hurtful things about Jill, Jessa, Joy or any of the young adults in particular that your comments can cause so much hurt & is it really necessary to say hurtful things about things that can be very trivial. Try & remember a few short years ago these young people were children & having 2 children myself aged 20 & 22 I would not like to see grown adults picking them apart in the way some of these young people are picked at.
Ditto to the many, many positive encouraging messages above. To the few that had to say something mean, sad for you, your jealous, spiteful personality shows.
The house looks amazing! So cool how they could envision it to look like that from where it started! It's just lovely! And Joy looks so cute pregnant! Her baby bump looks just perfect for being due at the beginning of March.
Yes, I had an aunt who was huge at six months but then didn`t gain any more weight for the rest of her preganncy and by the end looked "normal". Probably the same sort of thing happened to Joy as well (gain all the weight at first.)
I LOVE their house! They have done such a great job with it! So modern looking and I love the open feel that they have created. So nice that they have a guest room in case someone wants to spend the night.
Great house. Nice to see these kind of everyday things instead of only weddings and babies (which I also enjoy). Really like the kitchen. I hope more of the Duggars show us more about their everyday lives. Best wishes with the baby to Joy and all the other babies coming this year.
Thanks for all the positive comments I've been reading! Very refreshing! And thanks Joy for the tour! All the best to you and yours. Now I would love to see what Joe and Kendra live in!
They have been very clear about their beliefs regarding finances, particularly not using any form of credit, which a mortgage would be. They purchase things straight out, with cash. Austin has already owned and sold several homes. That is the primary reason it required so much work. He purchases them very inexpensively and works hard to make them desirable to live in, then sells the for a large profit.
Lovely house and cute couple. I wish them all the happiness in the world with their little one coming soon. And to all the haters out there who plagued this couple with their conspiracy theory's about the pregnancy I say you should look into the Bible more and spend less time talking hateful nonsense.
Very nice, Joy & Austin! You've been hard at work and it's paying off! Congratulations on your milestones and more to come! Thanks for sharing and can't wait to see your baby! Blessings to your family!
Joy looks so adorable with her pregnant belly. Poor Joy sounded out of breath. I remember going through that with all my pregnancies until the baby dropped. She is still carrying high. As for the house...lovely!! My favorite is the kitchen.
You have both worked really hard to do your home it's beautiful how you start to rest now joy and get ready for your wonderful gift from God your 1st child. God's blessings shine upon you and Austin. Pam England
Why is a wedding picture more suited to private spaces? Should they be ashamed that they are married? This is their home, not a hotel, not an entertainment venue. It's ridiculous to say that a wedding photo is unsuited for a living space in someone's own home.
Personal photos (especially very large ones) on display like that in common spaces can convey the message that we really like looking at ourselves, and we want others to like looking at us, too. That's self-glorification, or conceit. That's not a humble or modest value. Imagine if the picture were replaced with a picture of Jesus, and you will see the difference it would make.
Galatians 6:14 May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
Joy, I am very proud of you and Austin! I hope that you and Austin have a very blessed marriage and a very healthy baby.. I think you have done a great job! Please ignore all the negative comments, they are made by people who find no happiness in life, and continually want to bring others down. Love you and your family!
Thanks for leaving your comments! We answer as many of your questions as we can, but due to the number of comments we receive daily, we are unable to answer every one. Our aim is to post all points of view, but we do not post anything that is profane, insulting, derogatory, or in poor taste.
Aw I was hoping you'd post this on here! Now everyone can stop saying she already had the baby.

Joy, you look beautiful as you're carrying your first baby congratulations on your close to complete home and soon the arrival of your first baby.
ReplyDeleteThe colors are magnificent? What colors? I see mostly white and gray, with a brown floor.
DeleteI don't see any color in that home. ???
DeleteSome people like nutral colors
DeleteYes, white, gray and brown are colors! They are very popular in home design, as well as in the Crayola box!
DeleteThose are neutrals. Usually when you talk about color in decor you are talking about something other than a neutral.
DeleteI love neutral colors, mainly white, camel, and dark hardwood floors

DeleteThat's exactly what I thought:-)
DeleteI'm sure your house would look perfect if you were pregnant and in the middle of remodeling.
DeleteReally? You do know they are still working on their house? Joy is also very pregnant. I don't know about you but when I was carrying my child I was tired.
DeletePick pick pick
DeleteYou just had to be the one . . .
DeleteThey are still doing work on their home. Why be negative? I assume it will be done and the home will be cozy and safe for the new baby. :)
DeleteIt’s only that way because they’re in the middle of finishing it and organizing.

ReplyDeleteLooks great!!!!!!
ReplyDeletePregnant. Not pregnit. They say that on the show and it drives me nuts.
ReplyDeleteGet over it they live in an area with a dialect all it’s own!
DeleteIt doesn't matter where you live. You can still learn to pronounce words the way they are supposed to be pronounced (dictionary pronunciation).
DeleteIf I heard my kids saying a word wrong over and over, I'd be correcting them each time until they got it. Michelle has been pregNANT enough times to know how to say it!
DeleteIt's like how some people say pecan and others pronounce it "peacon".
DeleteCute house Joy & Austin. Thanks for the tour. Perfect for the 3 of you. 😎
ReplyDeleteYour house is so beautiful Austin & Joy!! Praying for great blessings for your family. Shalom <3

DeleteEver heard of central heating? I walk around my house in winter in bare feet too and it gets much colder than in Arkansas.

DeleteRelax. Nobody but a "fan" who watches the show would know that those sofas might have appeared elsewhere.
DeleteKuddos for all of the hard work you two have put forth to build a home. May you be blessed with love and happiness.
ReplyDeleteThank you..loved seeing how far they have come along with all the work. It's looking great :-)

Cute house, but I would have thought they'd have a bigger dining area. What's with the need for "guest bedrooms" when the houses are so small and her family is so large?
ReplyDeleteWell they're probably planning on staying in that house for awhile so that room could turn into this baby's room once they have a second baby.
DeleteWhen my husband and I first got married we both had younger siblings and would have them over for sleepovers. :) So a guest room is nice to have.
DeleteThey are future rooms for their children that are guest rooms in the meantime. Jinger and Jeremy could stay there when visiting. Most of their family lives locally , so they don’t need a bunch guest rooms for them.

ReplyDeleteReally cute! Love the wood around the kitchen bar area. That’s a nice touch. Wishing you and Austin much happiness there! Praying for a speedy and safe delivery for you and your baby!
ReplyDelete...And I don't like that wood. It looks scrappy. A vertical white or off-white bead board covering would have blended with the cabinets better.

ReplyDeleteSo sweet of Joy-Anna to take us through her and Austin's home. I love your master bathroom with the double sinks and two big mirrors. It will be a nice home for the Forsyth family...Jane
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have a larger vanity like that too. Cute starter home for them.
DeleteAwww what a cute home. It went be long until that baby arrives. Ty for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I’m very happy for them.
ReplyDeleteThey have a very cute home. I can relate to moving into a new home and trying to unpack and making it your own. I can't wait to see it all done. I appreciate they have space for guests.
ReplyDeleteIt is a very cute house! Joy thanks for sharing. I am keeping you and that baby blessing in my prayers! I'm glad Austin is taking care of you. Keep putting God first and the rest will fall into place.
ReplyDeleteSo happy for you all, prayers for you all
ReplyDeleteSo cute belly and love nest
ReplyDeleteY’all are doing a great job!
ReplyDeleteOMG Joy is as big as Jill was!! I hope she is getting proper prenatal care.
ReplyDeleteI hope she goes straight to the hospital at the first sign of labor, and doesn't try delivering at home.
DeleteI hope she has an easy birth. The sisters seem to carry big babies. Joy is going to be a great mom!
DeleteFirst let me say I am all for home births when they are done properly. That being said, since Michelle, Jill, and Jessa all seem to have very large babies which can be harder to birth, it might be a wiser decision to go to a hospital. She could still have an all natural birth but if things go wrong like they did at Jill and Jessas births they would have a hospital staff right there to help.
DeleteMe too. My normal, healthy pregnancy ended with a half dozen doctors resuscitating my baby. Now I have a typical two year old thanks to quick intervention.
DeleteI'd say if she wants to try at home home for 12-24 hours that would be fine, but if she goes any longer than that head to a hospital.
DeleteA lot can go wrong before 12 or 24 hours, especially with a first baby. Why risk something you've taken care of for 9 months, just because you want to stay home?
DeleteJosiah looks EXACTLY like Josh.
ReplyDeleteI know! It's the beard😳
DeleteI thought the same thing when I saw the picture
DeleteHe isn’t there, he’s in Australia. That’s Austin.
DeleteThe house is looking great, and so is Joy! God bless you all.
ReplyDeleteI love it Joy! You and Austin have done an excellent job.
ReplyDeleteLily and Ellie,
ReplyDeleteI love this blog! Thanks for all the work you do! When is Joy's baby due?
Joy and Austin haven't given an exact due date
DeleteVery nice, it has come a long way. Imagine Austin originally thought it might be done by the wedding, and it's now January and he's still working on it. Huge undertaking! He's doing a nice job on it!!
ReplyDeleteLove the floors.Yall did a great job. Congratulations on your upcoming blessing. May you have many happy years in your new home.
ReplyDeleteI don't like the floors. They look cold and dark.
DeleteI think in that small of a space, I would have gone with something lighter on the floor to make it feel more open and bright.
DeleteGood thing you don’t live there.
Delete9:24.
DeleteWell I don't like dark floors either, but that seems to be the trend these days. I don't like it when home stores try to sell you something trendy...which will be outdated in 2 years, when some other trend arrives. Buck the trends and go with the classics and timeless. And yes, that space would look bigger with a lighter floor.
DeleteGreat job!♡
ReplyDeleteJoy wish you and Austin the best.Your home is perfect for you and your new baby.My home is a fixer upper and we have totally changed the bedrooms and the living room.I still have the bathroom and the kitchen. But it has been hard work but a lot of fun to see the results.
ReplyDeleteGOOD JOB GUYS. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR BABY. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT. LOVE YOU GUYS. MOST PEOPLE DO.
ReplyDeleteI loved seeing that, Thank you. Joy looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteJoy-ana! you guys did good job on ur house!I love the kitchen and also u look so pretty pregant!
ReplyDeleteLove you guys!
ReplyDeleteWow what a difference since we last saw it on the show. Joy looks well and the bump is growing. Jenny xx
ReplyDeleteI love that kitchen! A mix of rustic and modern
ReplyDeleteWow that house looks amazing so much different to when we last saw it on the show
ReplyDeleteGod bless this growing family.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! I was hoping to see the arched ceiling Austin talked about on the phone with Joy when she was on her dress-shopping appointment. So happy for them both!
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't an "arched" ceiling. He was going to take out a beam and the attic space and have that "cathedral" type of ceiling, which he did. They must have solved the problem of how to bear the load of the roof somehow.
DeleteAwesome job love it. God bless you both..
ReplyDeleteVery nice Joy. I hope U are happy there.
ReplyDeleteCONGRATS!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Your hard work has definitely paid off!
ReplyDeleteCute house. They are fortunate. Many young couples do not start out their lives together with so much.
ReplyDeleteMust come from receiving a paycheck for many years from TLC. No, most don't have this much starting out.
DeleteAustin also began preparing for being married and having a family when he was still young. He talked about asking his dad what he would like Austin to do before he would give his blessing to be married.
DeleteWell that's cool. I would like to see more videos like this. Thanks for sharing, Joy!
ReplyDeleteThank you for showing us the house! It looks so good! It is so much work to get a house put back together and then decorated. It is a great starter home.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing Joy. You look amazingly beautiful. And your home is very cute. After you finish baby’s room, relax and just take care of you and Austin. Praying for you and baby
ReplyDeleteSo disappointed, I live in the uk & the video won't play, I know in the past others have had this issue but I have never had a problem before.
ReplyDeleteDitto to the many, many positive encouraging messages above. To the few that had to say something mean, sad for you, your jealous, spiteful personality shows.
ReplyDeleteThe house looks amazing! So cool how they could envision it to look like that from where it started! It's just lovely! And Joy looks so cute pregnant! Her baby bump looks just perfect for being due at the beginning of March.
ReplyDeleteYes, I had an aunt who was huge at six months but then didn`t gain any more weight for the rest of her preganncy and by the end looked "normal". Probably the same sort of thing happened to Joy as well (gain all the weight at first.)
DeleteI LOVE their house! They have done such a great job with it! So modern looking and I love the open feel that they have created. So nice that they have a guest room in case someone wants to spend the night.
ReplyDeleteLove their kitchen! It will all come together soon.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, enjoy God's Blessings. Praise him.
ReplyDeleteGreat house. Nice to see these kind of everyday things instead of only weddings and babies (which I also enjoy). Really like the kitchen. I hope more of the Duggars show us more about their everyday lives. Best wishes with the baby to Joy and all the other babies coming this year.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful home!! Enjoy this special time❤️
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the positive comments
ReplyDeleteI've been reading! Very refreshing! And thanks Joy for the tour! All the best to you and yours. Now I would love to see what Joe and Kendra live in!
That "bump" looks like a boy to me. Have you found out yet?
ReplyDeleteIncredible to be a homeowner at 19, mortgage free!
ReplyDeleteHow do you know they do not have a mortgage?
DeleteDo you have access to their financial records?
They have been very clear about their beliefs regarding finances, particularly not using any form of credit, which a mortgage would be. They purchase things straight out, with cash. Austin has already owned and sold several homes. That is the primary reason it required so much work. He purchases them very inexpensively and works hard to make them desirable to live in, then sells the for a large profit.
DeleteLovely house and cute couple. I wish them all the happiness in the world with their little one coming soon. And to all the haters out there who plagued this couple with their conspiracy theory's about the pregnancy I say you should look into the Bible more and spend less time talking hateful nonsense.
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Joy & Austin! You've been hard at work and it's paying off! Congratulations on your milestones and more to come! Thanks for sharing and can't wait to see your baby! Blessings to your family!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! A true work in progress! Love the baby bump. 😍 we’re working on a fixer upper too hope to have it done this summer.
ReplyDeleteJoy looks so adorable with her pregnant belly. Poor Joy sounded out of breath. I remember going through that with all my pregnancies until the baby dropped. She is still carrying high. As for the house...lovely!! My favorite is the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteThe house looks wonderful Joy. Blessings from the UK.
ReplyDeleteYour home is going to be beautiful when it is finished. Ya'll have really worked hard. So happy for ya'll. God bless you guys.
ReplyDeleteBarefoot and pregnant
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. It looks like a cozy starter home!
ReplyDeleteWonderful tour of your home. Thank you for sharing. It looks great! Such a sweet exciting season of life. Eileen
ReplyDeleteYou have both worked really hard to do your home it's beautiful how you start to rest now joy and get ready for your wonderful gift from God your 1st child. God's blessings shine upon you and Austin. Pam England
ReplyDeleteLove the fact that she did a video for us fans !
ReplyDeleteBeautiful baby bump and very nice starter home.
Hope you have a wonderful and safe delivery.
You've see one baby bump, you've pretty much seen 'em all!
DeleteI disagree, baby bumps look different depending on the persons body type
DeleteBumps can actually be shaped differently depending on the baby's position
DeleteThat large wedding photo is a bit much for that small wall.
ReplyDeleteI thought so, too. And more suited for the private spaces of the bedrooms.
DeleteAw I thought it was cute
DeleteWhy is a wedding picture more suited to private spaces? Should they be ashamed that they are married? This is their home, not a hotel, not an entertainment venue. It's ridiculous to say that a wedding photo is unsuited for a living space in someone's own home.
DeletePersonal photos (especially very large ones) on display like that in common spaces can convey the message that we really like looking at ourselves, and we want others to like looking at us, too. That's self-glorification, or conceit. That's not a humble or modest value. Imagine if the picture were replaced with a picture of Jesus, and you will see the difference it would make.
DeleteGalatians 6:14 May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
I can't believe that Joy is due in March. Her baby bump is so small to be due that soon!
ReplyDeleteI think it's more of an average size.
DeleteYeah it's not small for being due in March, but not too large either
DeleteDo they own it or does a FIL? They should own it.
ReplyDeleteAustin bought it.
DeleteJoy, I am very proud of you and Austin! I hope that you and Austin have a very blessed marriage and a very healthy baby.. I think you have done a great job! Please ignore all the negative comments, they are made by people who find no happiness in life, and continually want to bring others down. Love you and your family!
ReplyDeleteA first house is very special and something to be proud of. May your rooms be filled with laughter.
