Duggar Christmas Goodies

 Johannah Duggar, Tyler, Jordyn Duggar

The Christmas season is in full swing, which means that the Duggar home is filled with the aroma of baked goods. Above, Johannah, Tyler, and Jordyn are pictured delicately drizzling melted chocolate over pretzels to make chocolate-covered pretzels.

Do you enjoy holiday baking? If you do, here are links to some of the Duggars favorite recipes:

  1. I love baking but I hate It when my mom bakes a cake but put no frosting on It. Christmas is a nice holiday. Moving on Johannah looks like Jessa a bit. Jordyn got so big. Tyler got big a bit in the photo. Please Ellie & Lily can you guys do a update to see how Kendra & JOESPH are doing now as a married couple? Have a great night Your fan now 29 years old Neddy constant

  5. They need to put their long hair back in ponytails if they're going to be working around food. You're never too young to learn some basic kitchen common sense.

    1. You only have to do that if you are working in a commercial kitchen. I never pull my hair back to work at home.

    2. I agree. Nothing ruins a nice Christmas treat like a long hair!

    3. They are in their own kitchen!

    4. I pull my hair back sometimes when I'm cooking at home, especially if I'm having guest in for a meal. I wouldn't want one of my guest finding a hair in their food...Jane

    5. 1:29 You are correct in that it is only REQUIRED in a commercial kitchen. If you don't pull your hair back at home, you have the potential to get hairs in your food. Perhaps your family and friends should be aware when they eat things you have made. 9:09 has a great point. Even though it is not required, it is absolutely very appropriate for sanitiation and to prevent problems to pull your hair back when cooking. You would not eat food that has fallen on the floor.

    6. I agree - hate finding hair in my food!

    7. My sister set her long hair on fire once when she was working near the stove! My mother had a rule about not having hair hanging down if you were using the mixer, either. Ouch!

    8. Do you check to see if someone pulled their hair back before you eat at their house? You pull your hair back in a commercial kitchen because you work for hours with food. At home you aren’t generally in the kitchen for a prolonged period of time. In 45 years, I have managed not to get hair in the food I have cooked.

    9. You sure don't want that hair hanging down around a hot stove.

    10. My hair is always pulled back at home. I hate the feeling of hair hanging down around my face.

    11. 9:09am. Way do you aways complain. They can have their hair down if they want it's not touching the chocolate. I keep my hair down and I never get hair in my food.

    5. Try candy cane window pane cookies. You just cut out the middle of the cookie with any shape cookie cutter and fill the middle with crushed candy canes and then bake:)

    6. There is a huge arts and crafts show where I live once a year. That show is where I first discovered spiced pecans! They sell them there and I just knew when I tasted them that I had died and gone to heaven! Never tried making them at home though. I just have them once a year!

  10. Tyler isn't Josie's brother. The Duggars have GUARDIANSHIP over Tyler. They did NOT ADOPT HIM. His last name is NOT DUGGAR. He is Michelle's nice's son, therefore, HER grand-nephew. That would make Tyler, the Duggar childrens' first cousin, once removed. He has a mother and Michelle isn't it, legally or biologically. Get it this time, please folks.

    1. Why so rude, he is a member of their family , that’s all we need to know. They love him and I bet hope we welcome and accept him without too many questions or comments.

      Delete
    2. 12:19 no one said he is their brother. If you read the caption again, it doesn't list his last name.

  11. I don't think anyone is being rude with that comment. It's a common misconception with some family followers that they still believe that Tyler has been adopted by the Duggars. He hasn't been. Referring to him as a brother is confusing the readers. That's all.

  12. I think its time for the Duggars to break out a whole bunch of new recipes!!! Please ask them to give us new Christmas and holiday recipes!!!
