Thank you! I have been wondering whether or not I'd be able to purchase the episodes! :) Yes PLEASE keep us updated about if they end up on Amazon :)
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed watching Jill and Jessa counting on . I cried with them . So good see ones that were on show , I love you all and praying for you . God bless Tammy F
ReplyDeleteI didn't recognize the house Jill and Derick were in when coming back from Central America. It doesn't look like the one the Duggars renovated. Did they move before they left for the mission field?
ReplyDeleteWhy was Jill and jessa counting on not shown on the English TLC channel I went to watch it and it wasn't being shown. I was really looking forward to seeing it as I had watched all the programmes on the Duggars since they were first aired on TLC. When or if is going to be shown in England? I hope it's aired here soon. Best wishes for the rest of the series and Gods Blessings to all the Duggars and their extended families and Have a Blessed Christmas and hopefully a better NewYear.
ReplyDeleteI don't have an answer but 19 Kids and Counting on UK TLC was often a whole series behind the US so it could be a while. Not available on UK iTunes either and I expect the same will be true of Amazon UK. In the past some videos uploaded to you tube were visible to us but not to people in the US. Hopefully there will be a way for us to watch soon. From a fellow UK fan. X

ReplyDeleteHi Sherry,
The Duggars have a guest house for visiting family members and friends. The decor makes it look similar to their house. :)
Blessings,
Lily and Ellie
Hey is this gonna b on YouTube????
ReplyDeleteI purchased the season pass. I enjoyed the episode and don't mind paying to watch it. Thank you for the information.
ReplyDeleteDo you know if they hit the numbers to be a longer term project? (I sure hope so)!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Alexis
Will there be more episodes with the rest of the family? Or with the girls? We love your show and your family! God bless!
ReplyDeleteOur family loves watching your show! Will there be any more episodes with the girls or the rest of the family members?
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the show immensely! I had watched the Duggars since they first had episodes years ago. It's been a joy to watch these ladies grow up...they are about the same age as I and it is fun to watch them get married and start their own families!
ReplyDeleteMerry christmas to this warm and loving family , you have brought much love and laughter into our home ! We miss seeing all of you
ReplyDeleteIt will only be ITunes in US I assume ? Not Australia etc ? Just waiting for you tube hopefully someone uploads !
ReplyDeleteThis is constructive feedback sent prayerfully. If the Duggar children plan on a life of public speaking as adults, they need to stop using the teen slang word 'like' repetivitely in their speech. 'Like' was spoken over 82 times in this one episode thhat I counted. It indicates a level of immaturity, takes away from the message, and is also a very annoying habit.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you. I noticed that they used "um" on far too many occasions as well and did find it quite distracting. It can be a nervous thing, but they were weighing their words (almost) too carefully so they would not suffer from more backlash from their critics. I have been keeping this family in prayer over these past many months, so this isn't something that is being said with ill intent.
DeleteLily and Ellie, when you find out how the ratings turned out for (Counting On) will you then please let us know.Im keeping my fingers crossed that it was astronomical :-)
ReplyDeleteHi! I can´t watch the episode on ITunes in the Netherlands. That´s a petty :( . I hope there will be soon another way to watch it!
ReplyDeleteGreetings, Sophie
I downloaded the SD version on iTunes, and it was perfectly clear watching it on my iPad! Thanks for the recommendation.
ReplyDeleteI hope the Duggar stay on tlc I would love to see more of the kids grandma Duggar and Jim and Michelle.
ReplyDeleteRatings are not going to be an accurate representation of how well this "special" was received. Some viewers watched it or recorded it just to see what commercials aired, so those companies could be contacted for a complaint. So when you see any final ratings numbers, bear that in mind. Those numbers won't represent the actual number of viewers who agreed with TLC airing this program.
ReplyDeleteWow that's cruel. If I'm enjoying a show why would any one care?
DeleteRatings absolutely do matter, doesnt matter if it was recorded or not, the disgruntles can call every sponcer ...but there will always be the decent Christian sponcers who support their family and will have the money to back them up.I wonder if all the haters do this to all the people who have shows, they will be mighty busy.I pretty much guarantee you that at least 50% of the TV/movie/music industry has differing views from the haters... Thats called life... I guess some of us choose not to spend so much time trolling and hating others with opposite opinions.
DeleteLet me ask those people this, why should a whole entire family be blamed for what one did? The kids deserve a show as long as they have and audience, and like it or not they do.Just because they have a difference in their core values than some doesn't mean that they should be off the air.To me,the show was entertaining, helpful and informative.I have my own beliefs and yes, they do differ from them, but so what.To be nice to those we meet and NOT to put fourth so much energy on anger is ideal , dont ya think?
DeleteThat's so rude !!!
DeleteIf u don't want or like the show then go watch something else n stop being cruel ...
When ppl do that they are not only hurting the duggars , but also the ppl that are advertising cause they may not get as much business ...
Ppl should be thankful for the duggars because yes they may have there ups and downs but there allowing us in there homes , I think that's sweet !!!
@HisPrincessWarrior
ReplyDeleteThe first episode is up on Amazon. It's $2.99 for the HD version, no SD version yet.
the HD version of episode 1 in up on Amazon for $2.99
ReplyDeletePlease post to amazon so i can buy the series
ReplyDeleteShocked at some people's reaction saying she said the word "like" too many times? SO WHAT. She's explaining a traumatizing event in her life and was in a very vulnerable state. I'm sure she wasn't expecting anybody to keep tabs on her speech. Pleanty of people say the word "like" in their sentences. If you find it annoying them keep it to yourself because I'm sure they don't want some random stranger on the Internet patrolling or correcting their grammar. That's more annoying then hearing the word "like" 80 times. So rude and petty. I'm pretty sure their tears indicated how deep the message was that needed to be felt and saying the word "like" didn't take away any meaning that they were portraying.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry that you were offended by the person who made that comment. Having watched the episode, there is no question that they were all sincere in what they shared. It is obvious that the hurt they are feeling still runs very deep. I applaud each one of the family members who took the time to share openly about these events that are so recent and painful. I am amazed by the level of Christ like forgiveness that has been displayed by each family member. How beautiful would it be if more people recognized this and extended the same forgiveness and grace to this family. It does seem petty to count the number of times any one word was used during the special, but it honestly did seem somewhat distracting. It is heartbreaking how much the Duggar, Dillard, and Seewald families have been criticized in the media and by people who hide behind a screen and a keyboard. It appears like the families are much more guarded in how they share, it is most evident in the filler language that they used during this interview. I am not sure if I have heard this family use so many filler words in the past. You can argue that it was because they were pouring out their hearts on broadcast television, but it isn't that. There are many families that have have shared their most difficult and heartbreaking hardest of hard seasons of life on a public platform and not used the filler language that was used in this Counting On special. For starters I can think of several families who have shared openly, with raw emotion, on radio broadcasts for Family Life Today and Focus on the Family.
DeleteSaid with loving kindness, Ann
Listening Jill and Jessa speak and I feel that they are both intelligent sweet girls but they really need to practice not saying 'like' every second word.It seems to be a very bad habit for young people of this generation.
