ReplyDeleteLily and Ellie,
ReplyDeleteFor those of us who don't have a TV, will you be permitted to put a link to the video of their wedding? It really would be appreciated.
Lily and Ellie~
ReplyDeleteJust thought I'd let you know that I checked TLC's website, and this week's 2 hour episode actually starts at 8pm ET PT/7pm CT. Just wanted to make sure that everyone doesn't miss the first hour! :)
Thanks for all you do!
Jinger and Jessa look so fab!!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to watch tomorrow's episode. But my DVR shows that the special is on from 8-10pm and I live on the east coast. It is not on at 9:00 as you indicated, at least not in my DVR, which is set to record. At 10pm, another TLC new show is airing after the Duggars.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful wedding! Cant wait to watch it! The bridesmaid dresses turned out amazing! Many wonderful blessings to the married couple!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. Love the show.
ReplyDeleteTHE PROPOSAL IS NEXT WEEK???????????? AYAYAYAYAYYAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I THOUGHT I would have to wait till spring!!!
ReplyDeleteAtta boy!
ReplyDeleteI don't understand the shoes....
ReplyDeleteRude much! Its what jill wanted she loved them thats all that matters! You shouldnt put down others happyness!
DeleteWhat's not to understand? Jill chose the colour but left the styles to the girls. They all look amazing
DeleteI think thats a neat idea, same color but different styles. I did the same with my bridemaids dresses, they could pick out whatever style dress fit their body type best but they were all the same color.
DeleteIt's kind of a trend for the past couple of years, that the bride let's the maids choose whatever shoes are comfortable for them, as long as they are same color scheme and style (ie; open toe vs pump vs flats or sandals). I thought it was pretty neat you get to see their individual personalities in the shoes they each chose.
DeleteSooo very excited the wedding episode is here. Now we can focus on Jessa's wedding and the Dillard baby arriving in March. I'm grateful as a longtime fan that Ben's proposal to Jessa will be shown very soon. I hope their wedding airs in January at the latest!
ReplyDeleteI have watched every show up to the wedding and enjoyed them all I can't wait to see you both get married I wish you both much happiness together and look forward to the new baby coming soon.
ReplyDeletegorgeous
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Jill and Derick, Wishing you many years of happiness! Thank-you to the whole Duggar family for letting us into your lives. You are an amazing family!
ReplyDeletewhy would you not have a nice sit down wedding with a nice dinner. leave the kids at home and let Jill and Derrick enjoy their special day in their life. who severs pickeles at a wedding?
ReplyDeleteTo each is own, and they love children, they would never leave them home.So what if they serve pickles, this wedding and reception is not the cookie cutter type most people are used to....and why should it be, thats not who they are.
DeleteWho serves pickles at a wedding people who love pickles, that is who. They are a family oriented family that is why the kids are there.
DeleteThe entire Duggar family love pickles enough that that make them together. To each their own.
DeleteCan't wait to watch the wedding and proposal! Even though it's been almost 6 months since the wedding.
ReplyDeleteLove your family !! How amazing to grow up 1 of 19 !! Love watching all your episodes, but am really looking forward to tomorrow nights wedding and next week also when Jessa and Ben get engaged !!!
ReplyDeleteJust remember if and when there is a negative comment about anything, that person is just plain right out jealous of your family's love, support and down to earth GREAT PEOPLE !!! Wish I were your neighbor, how much fun that would have been growing up next door to ya'll !!
HERE HERE! :-):-):-)
DeleteI am very happy for them.
ReplyDeleteAwwwww....awaiting this moment....it seems like we've waited so long....finally getting to see her walk down the aisle. I agree with anonymous 15...not understanding the shoes....years and years ago my sister was a bridesmaid and they all wore the same style of shoes, even though they were gowns. I would have thought they'd all wear flats if they didn't like heels.
ReplyDeleteoh, the engagement of Jessa next week, great, I'm glad we don't have to wait 6 months for that......
Love this family....
Why have so many guests and it on television? For how many years in their lives they managed to worship in their home. Occasionally another family. Yet a wedding has a thousand guests? I realize their spouses may have extended family. But it just seems why invite anyone if you will invite that many. The more guests the less time you have to realize who even made it there. Then hire a hall and caterer it and no one has any work or craziness. Did michelles family make it?
ReplyDeleteI like to see Jana waiting for the right mate, I would not want to see her with the wrong mate. I just watched an old tv movie called 'The Wrong Girl' - the aim of the show is to say 'don't rush' and end up with the wrong mate and wrong life...
ReplyDeleteI think anyone would sever a pickle if it were too big, especially at a wedding where you can't really pick up a big pickle and eat it whole, that would be odd.
ReplyDeleteI really loved all of the dresses in the wedding party. It was such a lovely, pretty, dressy day.
ReplyDeleteSo excited
ReplyDeleteLove the show
Can't wait to see the proposal next week as well
God bless
Joy-Anna looks much like the rest of the bridesmaids I LOVE the dresses
ReplyDeleteThere is really not much to not understand... Jill wanted that color, and all the other girls have different styles are more cofortable in different styles and everyone might just as well get shoes that they like and would wear again than get ones you don't like and only wear them once... And it's more worth the money since they were buying brand new that everyone will get use out of the shoes instead of only wearing them once.
ReplyDeleteI am soooo thrilled that peope are finally playing nice, its seems the more y'all get to know them the more you finally see what the rest of us do. That the Duggars are truly genuine, caring, kind loving souls who wouldn't hurt a fly. They may live a little differently than the main stream, but thats what makes them unique and interesting. Now lets keep up the good manners and wish them nothing but happiness and good karma will come your way, Jesus will reward you for that...bless you all!
ReplyDeleteHow neat, i never heard of a covenant marriage contract.Tonight cant come soon enough. I just pray and hope all the nit pickers will let us have this one moment of shared bliss for this family without mucking up the blog with negative comments. Ya think TLC might have FINALLY got the hint and thats why they are showing the engagement next week? Well anyways, I've got my box of tissues handy:-)
ReplyDeleteJill's gown is nice, but not vintage.. I don't know what look she was trying to go for, but did not achieve, IMO. Her gown seems too heavy for her,, as she is a small boned young woman and is more suited for a heavier, taller, more thick waisted person. It also wasn't tailored tight enough for her.
ReplyDeleteWho's Tony Dillard?? I thought Derrick only had one brother...is he a cousin maybe???
ReplyDeleteI have too and hope its on for a long time
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! You guys are a wonderful couple. May God continue to be a blessing in your life.
ReplyDeleteHi Readers,
ReplyDeleteTonight's show starts at 7pm ET PT/8PM CT and runs two hours. Thanks to those of you who corrected our mistake. :)
Blessings,
Lily and Ellie
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteYou "serve pickles" if you & your family love pickles. And I don't think Jill & Derick would have wanted people to "leave their kids at home", they love children very much. To each his or her own.
Re: pickles, the Duggars do that's who!
ReplyDeleteI remember the episode of them tasting the cake and i dont really think that they ended up with the same baker, her cakes were expertly frosted, i wonder who ended up baking the cake. Looks yummy anyways.
ReplyDeleteJill and Derrick are a beautiful example of a Christian ideal - so very happy for them and the whole family! Also glad to see that Ben and Jessa are also getting married. God has greatly blessed the Duggar family, and those of us who have come to know and love them all!
ReplyDeleteThe Duggars have brought back a decency to TV viewing. We wish all the family members much happiness, health and above all put your faith in the Almighty God.
ReplyDeleteI'm always so inspired when I watch this wonderful show your family has created. The world needs more amazing people like you guys! The wedding was beautiful! Congratulations! God bless!
ReplyDeleteThe men looked handsome and elegant (is that a word for a man's look? It seems to fit here, maybe classy would also fit.) The ties look professional. Tie making is quite an art, I would really like to praise Jana for how well she did the seamstress work to make the beautiful wedding clothes!
ReplyDeleteCould be because they had 1,000 guests. To me it looked like they only served sweets at the wedding also which I thought was odd. But none the less it was absolutely beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Jill & Derrick... I have come to love this show over the last year. This wedding stuff is great, Im so excited to see what happens with Jessa and Ben... I just love this show... I pray this show continues, I love your values. I just wish the rest of the world had the same. What a wonderful world this would be..... <3
ReplyDeleteLove this family

ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous 47,
Tony Dillard is Derick's cousin. :)

We don't watch TV, so I buy the DVD's. I've got 17 Kids and Counting and 18 Kids and Counting, and want to get all of them, but I watch these over and over and over again. Love it!
