Only six months until Growing Up Duggar hits the shelves of your local bookstore!
In a rare look inside America’s favorite mega-sized family, the four eldest girls talk about their faith, their dreams for the future, and what it’s like growing up a Duggar.
Airing weekly throughout the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand, 19 Kids and Counting has made the huge Duggar family into a media phenomenon. The Duggar children are frequently asked, “Tell the truth; do you really agree with the lifestyle your parents have created for you?” Now, the four eldest Duggar girls—Jana, Jill, Jessa, and Jinger let us know how they feel.
With a backdrop of the key relationships in their lives—relationship with self, parents, siblings, friends, boys, and God—the four Duggar girls open up about their own personal beliefs and convictions, boys, dating, manners, living in a large family, politics, and much more. You’ll learn why Jessa has a reputation as a troublemaker, how the family navigates the difficult years between twelve and sixteen, and what the girls look for in a man, all in a frank and fun book that will inspire teens and adults alike. Including lighthearted stories about the younger kids’ antics, Growing Up Duggar is a wise and entertaining trip into a family like no other.

ReplyDeleteGod Bless
cant wait to buy it! my husband has bought me the other books so I have my collection, lol, but the first book is already messed up, :-( I really prefer the hard cover books as they last longer. my other book is semi-messed up as well, I guess you can say I really LIke the Duggar family. :-)
ReplyDeleteI hate that they refer to themselves as "girls." They are all over 18, they are adults, they are young women!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to hear how they really feel about the lifestyle their parents have made them live!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for this book! Always wished they would write one, and now they are. Hopefully I'll be able to get it signed one day :)
ReplyDeletewow!!!! i love the cover!!! i have been looking forward to seeing the book come out and i cant wait to buy it and read it over and over again! The Duggar girls are such awesome role models!! Thanks Jill, Jessa Jinger and Jana!!
ReplyDeleteAhhh! Gorgeous! So exciting!
ReplyDeletelove the cover! is it possible to update the showtimes page and the FAQ's page as well? On David and Priscilla's website, they have pictures of when Josh and Anna along with David and Priscilla when they recently visited the the Keller Grandparents!

YAY YAY YAY I'M SO EXCITED!!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard for me to believe we will read anything in their book that has not already be said or written in the past.
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited to read this one!!
ReplyDeleteThat's great! I look forward to reading the book! The Duggard girls are truly beautiful in every sense of the word! I'm actually about to watch an episode of The Duggards with my three year old daughter. They are such an inspiration and we are blessed by the testimony of their lives!
ReplyDeleteWe're going to find out if they "REALLY agree"? Hmmm... kinda doubt we'll get any more than the "party line". I'll be surprised if they have even slight differences in their beliefs. "Jill believes that skirts should come 5 inches below the knee, but Jana is OK with only 4 inches." No... sadly I think it will tow the line. :(
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly.
DeleteLooking forward to reading this! Thank you for the preview. =)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read this! I don't really expect anything new and juicy, but I am still excited.
ReplyDeleteThat's how I feel I doubt there will be anything new like how they tell what they really think is probobly not going to be any different than their parents but I hope they do think about being who they want and not just who their parents want and come on wear pants!
Deletelooking forward to it can't wait. you can guarantee I well be buying it. again can't wait.

Yay! I've been waiting for this book for a while, and I'm so excited that it'll be here soon! I am a teenage girl, and all of the Duggars, especially the older girls, are a huge inspiration for me, and inspired me to find God in my life.
ReplyDeleteI'm excited
ReplyDeleteThis book will no doubt just be about what has been drilled into these girl's heads since birth. I don't believe JimBob and Michelle allow any of their kids to form their own opinions on anything.
ReplyDeleteDoes anybody in this family work, as the rest of us do, for a living?
ReplyDeleteThe Duggar girls have no business writing about men, dating, or politics as they have NO experience with any of these topics and are only capable of regurgitating their parents' views or the Gothard hogwash they've been brainwashed by. :)
ReplyDeleteI am so excited! I love reading the Duggar books!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for the book to come out. I want to read it so bad!!! I just love the Duggars, especially the older girls. So encouraging!!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait!!' Love them all! So inspirational!
ReplyDeleteI will so be buying this! Will it be available in e-book format?????
ReplyDeleteJosh owns a few car lots, John-David owns a towing business, Jana and Jill are training to be midwifes. I'm not sure about the others, but I'd definitely say, yes, they do work for a living, just like the rest of us.
ReplyDelete@serin
ReplyDeleteHi serin,
Yes, "Growing Up Duggar" will be available in e-book.

I hope I'll have the chance to read this book! As a teenage girl, I've grown up watching these girls on TV and they've truly been an inspiration to me. They've got me thinking about my own relationship with God and how I can outwardly show my beliefs.
ReplyDeleteI am waiting for the tell-all book to come out in 20 years .. . Until then, you can't convince me that any book by them is accurate about what it is REALLY like to grow up Duggar.
ReplyDeleteAre They going to do a book signing?
