The Seewald Kiddos

Ivy Jane Seewald

It has been a while since we have shared a new photo of Ivy Seewald, the newest addition to the Duggar clan. She is almost three months old and is quite the little cutie. Hope you enjoy these photos of Ivy and her big brothers.

Sure can tell Ivy & Felicity are cousins. . . both have
lovely big eyes. . . . kinda like Jessa & Jinger.
    They are blessed.

  5. Nice to see new photos of Ivy now she's bigger she's more alert, can't wait to see photos of when she starts smiling,I noticed she's wearing the same bow as always,I'm guessing the family is struggling economically, sorry but why couldn't Ben work as a screen glass repair man after marrying like he was doing with his dad, start his own business at his new residence, that job was good enough for his dad to support a family, working the odd jobs for his in laws can't earn him much, just my opinion.

    1. I wouldn’t make any assumptions about how they are doing financially. Maybe Jessa just really likes that bow. Ben was taking classes to be in the ministry. If that is what he feels like God wants him to do, then that is what he should do. There is more to life than making lots of money and having lots of material possessions.

    2. You're judging the family's whole financial situation based on a hairbow?????

    3. Umm, @9:11, you try caring for three little ones that age...if it were me, I’d be fortunate to just have them all dressed and diapered, let alone find a matching hair bow!

    4. I'm sure they washed that bow.

  10. She’s adorable! I would love to see her in prettier colors though. That army green head wrap she is always wearing is not pretty.

    1. I don't think Jessa is into all those dressed to the hills outfits on her kids. She is a hands on Mom who let's her kids be kids. I always admired that about her and the kind of Mom she is is the best kind. Her kids are allowed to get dirty and really enjoy life which is awesome!! That's how I am with mine too. When it rains we grab umbrellas and they play in the rain, jumping in puddles, we make mounds of leaves in Autumn and they jump in them and hide in them, snow angels in Winter and snow forts. We dress up for occasions but everyday life we seize the day and enjoy it not worrying about fancy dress and what other people do or not do. I see that Jessa is alot like us in that way and I'm sure she isn't worried about stock piling head wraps for her daughter, her daughter is blessed to have a Mom like her.

  12. She and her brothers are so sweet. I love her little chubby legs. I wonder how mama is adjusting to having three in diapers, bet she’s busy.

    1. Huh? I doubt that the 4-year-old is in diapers and the 2.5 year old is probably well on his way to being out of diapers, especially since he has an older brother.

    2. The 3 yr. old could still be in diapers at night. Boys are sometimes slow to train. First borns can be too since they have no older sibling for an example.

    3. Whether she has potty training kids, kids in diapers, or both, it's a very hectic time, and yes, she is busy in any of those scenarios.

    4. The 3-yr-old may be in "pull ups" at night and even the "4-yr-old" too but, by that age, both are old enough to know how to pull up the "pull ups". My kids, at 3, were in pre-school and potty trained. They took themselves (and yes I had boys) to the bathroom. Accidents can happen.. that is what "pull ups" are for.

Jessica may be busy but she picked this life.

  15. Dear Jessa & Ben, I can't believe Ivy is 3 months old. She is beautiful and the boys look so handsome. Such a good picture. I'm glad her older brothers are enjoying her. Looking forward to when you get a bigger house. Natasha B.

    1. Why would they need a bigger house?

    2. Three kids of 2 different genders growing up in a 2 bedroom house? No way. There's no room. That house is tiny. Time to get Uncle Austin over with his tools to add on. They need a new master suite, another bathroom, a family room, a dining room, and a larger kitchen.

    3. Aug. 21, 4:32 p.m. I shared a room with 2 brothers until I was 5 and they were 7 and 8. No harm done. They are quite capable of deciding when changing residences is appropriate for their finances and family.
