Jinger the Coffee Lover

It's no secret that Jinger Duggar Vuolo loves coffee. Those who have been faithfully watching the Duggars' reality show from the beginning have known that about her since she was a teenager. We have a wedding prep clip to show you, and while it is an "old" video, it was just uploaded by TLC. We know some of you are tired of Jinger's wedding, but we really think you will enjoy this scene. It should be in a format that everyone is able to watch.

If you enjoy this blog, check out our other blogs (NashvilleWife.com and BatesFamilyBlog.com).

  7. "Happy Mother's Day from the Vuolo's" shows up as the video in this post when viewed on your blog's home page. The making coffee favors for the wedding video doesn't show up until you click on this post and open it up by itself. So you're still having blog issues with these videos. Head banging time again! lol

  9. I found those burlap bags online. They are $15 for 24. So that means they spent $625 those 1000 bags (without ribbon or labels or coffee). That's more than a lot of people earn in a week, or it could be someone's monthly rent payment or grocery bill. Spent for party favors. "Buy used and save the difference" - unless it's a Duggar wedding, and then the sky's the limit.

Please stop trying to portray your family as frugal, when you're no longer that, and you show us things like this.

    1. I found them online for $300 , I'm sure there is an even cheaper price if you look hard enough. But do you expect them to give out used items as wedding favors. Buying used and saving the difference on alot of things is what makes it possible to pay for things like weddings etc. It doesn't mean that everything in your life must be from thrift store.

WHAT makes you so sure they didn't get the bags from some other place then the one (s) you have looked at?? STOP being a know it all!!!! If you have negative feelings about The Duggar family then stay OFF their blog.

Makes me so mad that people bring so much negativity to a blog run by amazing ladies for fans of the Duggar family.

    3. You have no idea where they bought the bags! Maybe they bought them on sale? I don't know why I bother even commenting on posts like this that are clearly made by trolls.

    4. I wouldn't say giving favors at your wedding is frivolous. Inviting 1000+ people to your wedding - now that's frivolous.

    5. Keep looking- there are better deals out there!

    6. Not quite. You can get 1000 small drawstring bags for $120 at Uline, basically if you order 10 bundles (100/bundle) you get them for $12/bundle if you want to get technical. So basically me and you both need to get a life.

    7. Wow, you're sure a killjoy. If you're so concerned about helping the less fortunate at all costs, then maybe next time you attend a wedding you should either refuse the meal and favor or take them in a doggie bag to pass out to the less fortunate.

      Delete
    8. I am sure where you saw the bags is not the only place to buy them. I would imagine they would have bought them in bulk from a company and gotten a much better deal. A lot of places had burlap items on clearance months ago when the wedding was.

    9. I think if they saved their money by buying used, then that means they have extra money to save for their daughter's wedding. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

    10. Just an FYI I sell online as a living and you can get those way way cheaper then you girls are finding.....So as the others said if you have nothing nice to say then be nice and say nothing at all!!!

Why do people have to add up what other people buy what is the big deal...

    12. Wow you invest a LOT of time into people you don't like, then post here anonymously so as not to receive the backlash to your FB or anywhere else but here... Ridiculous!

    13. When I got married, we cut a yard of tulle into 4" squares, put a little rice in each, and tied them up with crinkle gift wrap ribbon. I doubt we spent more than 3 or 4 bucks on the whole production. It does seem excessive to go to the length and expense Jinger did, just for something to throw away.

    14. Complain, complain, complain. I have a feeling each of us spends money differently. Different priorities and all that... Why is it that some of you have no concept of that? Are you that out of touch with reality so as to expect people to do things only YOUR way? Have you never heard the expression "different strokes for different folks"?

      Delete
    15. Wow anonymous 12:29... you obviously have way too much time on your hands to actually google the cost of bags from a site that may or may not have been used by the Duggars.

    1. I agree. For people who are so concerned about highlighting their "countenance," they don't realize that the long hair really drags them down. Shorter hair or an updo allows the face to shine through.

  16. I hope the guests just took the beans home and brewed a pot for themselves, instead of being wasteful and throwing them at the newlyweds. Coffee doesn't come cheap!

    1. I doubt everyone just left the bags lying around on the ground afterwards. Don't you think people picked the bags back up and took them home?

  17. This could have been called "Jinger the coffee waster." My church has forbidden throwing anything at married couples. Bubbles are still allowed. Rice, confetti, and everything else was too messy to clean up, and often ended up in the lawn, where it was impossible to remove. Even bird seed isn't allowed, because not all gets removed by the birds. Wonder how they handled the thrown coffee beans? They'd be slippery to walk on and could be a fall hazard. We had an older woman fall at church on acorns in the parking lot.

    1. As an "older person" who could very easily slip and fall on these, I appreciate your concerned comments.

    3. My speakers aren't working, so I can't hear the video. Did they actually say the coffee beans were for throwing, or is that just an assumption? Thanks.

      Delete
    4. Yes, for throwing.

    5. I fell on loose gravel while walking in the street front of my house. It had washed down the curb in hard rain, and when I went to get the mail, down I went, busting up my knee. Anything that small, round, hard, and loose is not safe, no matter how old you are.

    6. I guess they could throw ground coffee?

Before everyone attacks... this is a JOKE.

      Delete
    7. Actually, it was specifically said more than once that they were the favors, but people could throw them if they wanted. They were NOT just for throwing. They did double duty - wedding favors can get really pricey, even when you DIY, so I thought this was a great way to save money.

    8. We must be watching 2 different videos. Anna says at the beginning that Jinger wanted coffee beans thrown at her.

  18. I could only watch it without sound because my speakers aren't working right now, but that looked like a lot of fun. I'll bet it smelled amazing in there. That was such a creative idea, and a perfectly personalized wedding favor.

  19. Jana is absolutely stunning in an updo! I mean like Oscars beautiful. She is very pretty with her hair down, but somehow, even went up a notch with her hair worn up. She will make some lucky fella a gorgeous bride!

  20. First of all, loved the "Perfect Blend"-it fit Jinger and Jeremy to a T.
Secondly, I sincerely hope that all of the posters here who branded others as trolls and worse when they speculated (correctly) that Anna was pregnant (as evidenced by this video and all the hiding her midsection that the camera crew was doing) have enough personal integrity and honesty to post apologies. They are due.

  21. Curious to know if the Duggar women refrain from drinking coffee during pregnancy.

  23. What an excellent idea. I personally loved it back in the days when confetti was thrown and it should still be allowed.. If the family holding the wedding want to use it then clean it up... Let Them! Coffee is so fitting to Jinger, but God forbid anyone threw it at them and hurt them due to the beans dense weight.

  26. Lily and Ellie, why do you feel the need to try and placate the Duggar Haters? Didn't you begin this blog because you wanted a place for those who like the Duggars to be able to find news without having to wade through all of the negativity? If so, has that basic purpose changed? If this blog is a positive place to share Duggar news, then no one should have to apologize for putting up a heartwarming video about Anna Duggar doing something sweet to help make Jinger's wedding a little more special. I honestly feel that you go too far in trying to accommodate the haters. It changes the overall tone of this blog to the point that it no longer feels like the positive place it used to be.

    1. Agreed! So sick of the negative comments. Makes it difficult to get on here anymore.

    2. And I'm sick of people complaining about negative comments. Not everything in life is puppies and rainbows. No, I may not say some of the things that others do here, but yes, they give me things to think about that I might not have realized otherwise. And often the negatives are correct or they point out something that was obviously wrong, but the rest don't want to admit it.

Salt without pepper is just salt. Salt and pepper together is seasoning.

    1. Yes, but the Duggars aren't most people. They know many many people from home schooling, traveling, missions trips, ministry, etc. Not to mention the fact that they know people with larger families than most.

      Delete
    2. Neither is having a large family. I am one of 12 and we had 400 people at mine. And we invited ONLY family. Why can't they do what they want? ?????

  28. Love the video. Jinger, I love coffee also. Didn't like it until I was in my thirties. I'm in my sixties, and love it, and need a cup of coffee as soon I crawl out of bed in the morning.
