  1. The book that the four older Duggar girls wrote said that it was by God's grace that their family was so cohesive and stayed together as a happy family unit. This would require all the people adhering to their faith in God. Derick and Jill both seem to be highly committed to their faith in God. However it has happened on the world stage that people who are highly committed to their faith in God fall from grace and their is dissension in families. Some result in break ups. This seems like a sad topic to be having, but maybe it is another part of the Duggar good sense.

  6. Jana is wearing a necklace with a heart hanging on it in her interviews in tonight's show.... who is that from? Also, can not believe Jim Bob asked if they had a chaperone the day of their wedding while they were doing devotions!!!!

  7. Finally!!!! It was wonderful to finally see their wedding day. The only thing that I thought was odd was actually seeing each other in their wedding clothes before the ceremony. The thing that would have made the moment sweetest, is the look on their faces seeing each other all dressed up as she walked down the aisle. I think seeing each other before the ceremony kinda left it a little less than perfect. Now the time spent before the ceremony in devotion was sweet, but I thought they should have waited to see each other all dressed up as she was presented to him by her father. But then, I'm old fashioned and think the expectation of seeing each other being done.

  8. Just finished wAtching. Yes, it was lovely. Two things stuck out(aside from the bride and groom). Josh is an eloquent speaker, very low key but insightful and Michelle looked absolutely stunning.

  11. Completely agree with the other poster, Josh is a terrific speaker. He is articulate, humorous, sincere and warmhearted. Loved Michelle's dress too, thought she looked beautiful and was so pleased to see that she dressed up for the event. Very elegant. JB and the rest of the crew all looked sharp in their gray suits. The groom is very handsome and the bride could not have been lovelier as were all of the beautiful bridesmaids. Thought the organizers did a wonderful job. I got a kick out of Jill deciding not to wear shoes and her father's surprise, but he did not question it. Personally I would have expected her to wear flip flops! Looks like it was a perfect day! Thought the little kids did great - big responsibility to sit up there like that. Thought it was sweet the way Jim Bob tried to comfort his little daughter before the ceremony, dry her tears and reassure her that she wasn't losing her sister. JimBob and Michelle are really very good parents. I missed Josiah though! Seemed like everyone in the family had a little moment but him. I thought I caught a glimpse of him escorting his wonderful grandmother to her seat. I admire Mary Duggar very much, such a lady, so mild and kind, but you can tell she's a rock.
