The Duggars at Parrot Mountain

The Duggar were back in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, for the third time in just over a year. “We’ve been coming here for years, and I’m sure we’ll keep coming,” Jim Bob told the Mountain Press.
Jim Bob and the kids, along with the Bates family, had the privilege of taking a private tour of Parrot Mountain, where they saw dozens of varieties of exotic birds. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, this attraction is made to feel like the Garden of Eden. The Duggars and Bates especially enjoyed listening to some of the birds perform songs like "Rocky Top."
Last year, the Duggars traveled to Pigeon Forge to meet Dolly Parton in "18 Kids and Counting" Duggars Meet Dolly and Duggars in Dixie. At Christmastime, the family was honored to turn on the Pigeon Forge Winterfest lights.
Have you ever been to Pigeon Forge or Dollywood?

  1. Never been to Tennessee. I'm jealous that they get to spend that much time w/ such a like-minded family. Fun, fun!

  2. No, though I'd like to someday. The closest we've gotten is Gatlinburg.

  4. Just moved back to Tennessee about a year ago. We have a family of seven children with number eight on the way. We actually got the chance to go to Pigeon Forge for the Winter Fest in which the Duggar family were honored. I got the opportunity to shake Jim Bob's hand and introduce my family to him briefly. Very sweet family. We were all so excited to see them in person.

  7. Does anyone know what cabins the Duggars stayed at that were featured on one of their episodes?
