I seriously want some hair tutorial from the duggar girls. Their hair is always sooooo pretty, and I can relate to them since my hair is about the same length as most of them...most people's is much shorter so it's harder to follow their tutorials!

marnie said...

been watching your show all day. in several episodes, you use a mixing bowl with the beaters attached and a lid (i think) what is it and where did you get it?

Hi there, I was wondering if Jinger could share how she curls her hair? I don't know if it's a perm or if she uses curlers? just curious.

Hello There. I want to start by saying that my family and I absolutely adore every one of you. With all of the negative influences in society today, it's nice to watch and follow a family that is a positivie inspiration. My family and I have used many of your techniques/suggestions! We look forward to many more years. God Bless

I am just curious. Why do all the women wear jean skirts?

Does Michelle have any advice on how to help someone who just had a premature baby? They will be in the hospital for months. Thank-you!

How would your life be different if Michelle worked outside the home?

Sheila said...

I just love your family! You are so precious and right in line with our family values too! God Bless and I will be praying all goes well with the weddings. Blessings!

What if one of the kids decided that they were going to date and not court or one of the girls wore short hair and pants. Would the family be accepting of this since it goes against how they were raised?

I wish the press would give Jessa and Ben some breathing room to focus on their relationship instead of attempting to destroy with break up gossip. I especially dislike headline and drops reading Michelle said or implied. Anything for a dollar I guess.

Bless their hearts they need time to continue bonding and planning for their future together. I hope they stand strong and turn a deaf ear to all that nonsense.

I have really been enjoying the program recently because I see the girls as role models for my daughter, and I admire the family! God bless them.
Also, who are the authors of this blog or more specifically what is their relationship to the Duggars? Just wondering.

I'd love to know the movie that Josh and Annah recommended... they went out on a date and watched it recently... something about a homeschool mom... showing in the theatres... Lily and Ellie

Hi Julie,

Sounds like you are talking about "Moms' Night Out." :)

Where do the older girls shop for clothes? I love their jean skirts! Modest clothes are hard to come by these days

Hi Anonymous 18,

The girls do a lot of thrift store shopping. They also buy clothes from Cato Fashions and recently purchased skirts from

Could you please share the title/author of the marriage book used with Jill and Derick while they were in courtship? Thanks!

Hi Angie,

The Duggars recommend the "Getting Ready for Marriage Workbook" by Jerry D. Hardin and Dianne C. Sloan. More information is available on our Duggar Store page:

Jo hanna is one of the cutest lil angels...she's polite, well mannered and intelligent with an infectious smile and easy going aura. Everytime I hear the dialogue between herself and Jackson-I laugh..what a hoot:) This kind of TV makes my heart happy and restores my faith. God Bless and Thank You!

I haven't been able to watch the show since before Jill got married. I used to be able to pull it up on Netflix but now it's been taken off. Is there any other place I can watch it? I turned off my cable for now to save money.

Thanks Janie

The Duggars are great! However, I can't believe what people say about them on the Internet. They are great to be able to ignore it. Hey Lily and Ellie, do the Duggars ever see whats on the Internet about them?

They said it helps to keep them modest. They don't like show in a lot of skin. It doesn't necessary have to be Jean skirts just any skirt

For those of your kids who are not married and working, do you have them contribute a portion of their monthly income towards household expenses?

Anonymous said...

check out for repelling insects; it really works; perhaps it would be safe for Jill to use to prevent the zika virus.

Anonymous said...

I would love to see topics covered on potty training and how to manage sickness with a large crew. Also a link under this tips page with all their family recipes. Thanks so much if this is made possible!

Anonymous said...

Well it's their decision they are grown ups they can make their own choices

Anonymous said...

They have a dog and a cat

The Duggars are my favourite people on the planet except some of their rule aka guidelines are ridiculous because they wear skirts all the time but how are u suppose to play at the park or outside or go tot the pool or ocean in a skirt. I love the duggars and I'm not judging but how do they do that

Hello, could the mothers in the family post their tips about navigating through the first trimester of a pregnancy ? I'm in week 9 and I get nausea all day, not just "morning sicknes". Plus I can barely keep any food, and I get dizzy a lot. Maybe Michelle, Anna or another lady had similar symptoms and found solutions?

Does Jana have a upcoming courtship?

Sharon Rose Williams said...

I can! Three babies and no more . . . Simply candied ginger from the Oriental or health food store. Then lots of rest, a little water, simple proteins like almonds, unschool your kids and get a mother's helper. Stay home, ask for help, cool showers, epsom salts, read "Michelle on a Healthy Pregnancy" for her ideas. Great question, best wishes - I know this is old, but yeah, a trip to the ER is sometimes the only way to help your case. Enjoy my blog in the mean time, everyone! God bless the Duggars. They are Kings and Queens of the South.

Hi Lily and Ellie, I remember a post, I think it was under tips but was interview style, that described Michelle's daily schedule for herself. I remember she said something about getting up at 5am. I looked all over the blog for that post but I can't find it. Do you still have it? Thanks so much!
