Jason and Maddie Duggar celebrated one year of marriage in October. In honor of this milestone, they flew to Virginia and spent time exploring Colonial Williamsburg. Maddie's 22nd birthday was also in October, and Jason will turn 26 in April. The couple documented their trip in a video that they uploaded to YouTube.
Zero actual information about Colonial Williamsburg. Too much information about what they ate and drank! Did they learn even one historical thing?
ReplyDeleteI used to live right near Williamsburg. Watching them reminded me of how I used to dash past all the tourist stuff to get to the shops in the historic area if I needed to find someone a gift. I doubt Jason or Maddie picked up much history on this trip. They got beverages and walked around looking lost, which you can do for free. I'm wondering why they flew half-way across the country for that. Learning history by actually paying to enter the buildings to watch and listen to the presentations is the whole point of going to Williamsburg if you don't live there. Otherwise, you can get coffee and ice cream and take a walk anywhere in the world.
