Interview with Jed and Katey Duggar

Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo recently flew to Arkansas with their three kids to visit the Duggars. They traveled with their podcast equipment and filmed some episodes while they were there. One of the episodes, featuring Jed and Katey Duggar, was just released. The parents of four children under four share life updates and discuss their desire to do ministry, their six-week engagement, Katey's pilot's license, and their thoughts on traveling with young kids.

  1. It is not any of Jeremy’s business asking if they’re going to continue having children. He needs to stop with this question. That’s between the husband and wife and they will let friends and family know when they are expecting another if that’s their choice. And I’m meaning for anyone in general.

    1. Did I hear right? Did Jeremy actually praise them for having a boy first? That's pretty insightful about why he and Jinger tried for a third, and how Jeremy values boy babies.

    2. I agree. Its almost like by bringing it up they're trying to influence others into having fewer children like they have decided to do.

    3. Jeremy is too much.

    4. Jeremy reminds me of Rose's fiance in the Titanic movie.

  2. Why do they need to sit down on camera and "interview" their own siblings? Other than for the money.

    1. It's for Duggar fans and nothing wrong with doing it for the money.

    2. They are acting as the hosts who ask questions of their guests for the viewing audience. On behalf of that audience, they hold a discussion to elicit answers to many questions those watching may have of the guests. They interview people they think would be a good match to the audience, this may be relatives or other individuals. It is that role every podcaster plays as host and interviewer. Eileen

    3. For the audience. For content. Because some people still care about these people. Like the fans who visit this blog.

    4. @1:50 After the initial fascination with how a large family coped in a small house with what looked like a limited budget, it became quite clear to viewers that this family had closets full of very strange skeletons, and continue to do so. People are "fans" of that?

    5. It's how they support their expensive lifestyle. It's not like they are breaking new ground with family members they "interview".

    6. You mean interviewing people can actually be a *gasps* CAREER!?!? All these years I though Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, Whoopi Goldberg, and Barbara Walters just did it for fun! *rolls eyes*

    7. Oprah, Ellen, Whoopi, and Barbara all have education in the field and/or strong entertainment industry backgrounds. They have chops. They are not amateurs with lights and a camera set up in their spare room. Get back to us when Jinger and Jeremy land interviews with A-list celebrities or host the network evening news.

    9. 3:51. You are on the wrong blog..this is the Duggar blog about their family. All the fans who follow don’t care about what Oprah, Whoopi or Ellen say..you need to follow their blogs if that’s where your interest lies. I’m always happy to hear what’s new with the Duggar extended families.

    10. Oprah, Whoopi, and Ellen aren't on my list of women to look up to

    1. Some family members want their privacy honored. No more pictures, no more banners.

    2. 7:30 Who? Who hasn't been shown in photos or videos, maybe in the background of public stuff, or shared by someone outside the family? Just go back and watch any Christmas video or wedding video and you'll see they're all there. Even the ones whose faces are supposed to be sideways or not shown.

    3. Who is Daisy?

      Delete
    4. She’s 1 of Josiah & Lauren Duggar’s girls.

    5. Daisy belongs to Lauren and Si. (Daisy would’ve have been a great name for one of Jessa’s daughters!)

    6. June 25 @11:52 am . Maybe the parents of the miscarried babies don't want the names published. Something is the Duggars life should be private and personal.

    7. 1:45 The Duggars are public figures, so yes, the names of all the babies, still born or not, should be published. It would be fun to see if they re-use names.

    8. 12:40,Should be??? Who are you to tell anyone that they "should" announce the name of any of their children, never mind their babies that have passed? I've seen ridiculously rude statements on here but you get the prize for the most inconsiderate and thoughtless!

    9. 1240, wow! Iam speechless.

    1. Perhaps you need a different blog to visit then. The family will likely keep multiplying based on their history.

  6. Those of us who follow these families like to know when they have babies.. We also like to watch them grow up.
