Welcome Baby Brielle

Jeremiah and Hannah Duggar are now parents of two little ones! Their second child, another girl, was just born. The couple has not shared her birth date, but they did make her name public: Brielle Grace Duggar. She joined sister Brynley Noelle Duggar, who is just over one year old (born Christmas Day 2022).

  1. Congratulations Jer and Hannah on a second daughter! Must be going for a letter "B" theme naming their kids to continue the Duggar tradition like Josh and Anna did naming their 7 kids with the letter "M".

    1. Brielle is Michelle & Jim Bob's 33rd grandchild. Gunner was the 30th grandchild, Nora was the 31st grandchild, and George was the 32nd grandchild. In one of Joy's Youtube videos Jim Bob confirmed that Gunner would be the 30th grandchild, and at that point Michelle & Jim Bob would have 15 granddaughters and 15 grandsons.

    1. Babies are not angels lol. They are born sinners in need of Jesus, and they certainly don't come from heaven!

    2. 4:31 they do.... Read the Bible.

    3. March 3rd- babies don't come as angels. Find a different version of the Bible

    4. 9:00 you must be a Puritan.

      Delete
    5. You don't have to be a Puritan to read the Bible. And she's right - nowhere does the Bible ever say that babies were once angels or even that your loved ones who die are angels.

    6. 12:48 He formed us in our mothers womb. It is in the bible. Its also in the bible that we was angels before. Angels existed before Adam and Eve which is confirmed when they was casted out of the Garden of Eden. The garden was protected by angels. We are sent down for a reason. Especially after the fall of Lucifer who betrayed him. So perhaps we are sent here to be tested? That was the meaning all along. We are angels first. We are human second. We are spirit third. Not angels. When the time of the rapture happens, our bodies will meet with our spirit and be restored. We will have new bodies. Thus in the book of Revelations. Eventually we will be on a new earth.

    7. Oh my! You started off well when referring to Psalm 139:13–
“For You formed my inward parts;…” After that, you seem to have gone astray. 🤔
Please list the specific Scripture you are referring to.

      Delete
    8. Exactly. People don't realize the angels are not people who passed on. They existed before Adam and Eve.

      Delete
    9. Only Johavah Witnesses believe we come back as angels. They also believe we are the angels that come back who wipe out third of men. But that's not true at all. And there's only a select few according to Revelations 9:14.

  9. You need to do an updated list of the grandchildren. Not asking for names and birthdates, but who has what number of boys and girls. You could do that without violating privacy. Just something like "Jill - 3 boys Jinger - 2 girls" etc.

    1. But we already know about those, the ones we won't know about are the ones who have decided to keep private,so we will never know how many children Josiah and Joseph will have because they will not update the bloggers

    10. 5:25, the Bible actually says that the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. Also the Bible never uses "ask Jesus into your heart" terminology.

    14. Please tell me what verse says, "ask Jesus into your heart." Thanks!

      Delete
    15. Actually, I used to think the Bible said to "ask Jesus into your heart" too, because that's what I always heard growing up. Until I was talking to another person who said it's not, which shocked me. I have read the Bible multiple times since then, and he was right!

    16. Many interpret Revelations 3:20 to mean that. But as far as a actual verse saying that - no.

  23. I am glad I was raised in a family where my parents was financially secured, because I had two working parents with college educations. They had two children which is most sensible. I grew up in a 3-story Victorian house and rooms abundant of toys. My parents had nannies taking care of us during the day. Although my sister and I only seen my parents a few hours 6 days a week and only spent a full day with them on Sunday, we was happy and I knew my parents had to work hard for everything we had. I wanted the same for my kids, but that was not to be. Those kids need more. These women need to set examples for their daughters. They don't have to be a stay at home wife and mother. And think about what they could provide for their children!

    1. Lots of things in life are “not fair”. Many of us work hard and still struggle.I prefer to look at my glass half full instead of half empty and focus on the good things in my life. Not worth the time lamenting over what some else has.

    2. The houses some of the girls live in aren't that big..

    3. @4:35am You should have been around during the Nixon/Ford/Reagan years. Car loans and mortgage rates were in the double digits - 12% to 16% if I recall. It was brutal. Today's economy is much better, but some people don't want to admit that. Salaries are higher (tech sector pays astronomical salaries; teenagers get $20 an hour at McDonald's and Target) and interest rates are low. There's no sense complaining about "the economy" because everyone controls their own economic situation by how much education they get and what field of work they go into. If ends aren't meeting, then something has to change - a different job, a different house, a different car, or all of those. Credit card need to go and shopping for fun stopped. "You don't see the inside of a restaurant unless you work there," to quote Dave Ramsay. Something has to change. Nobody can expect anyone else (especially elected officials) to change their situation.

      Delete
    4. "Today's economy" is better than it was 4 years ago. Remember the March 2020 CARES Act signed by the President at the time? That flooded the economy with "free" money for the average citizen. Along with "supply and demand" problems caused by the pandemic, inflation spiked. Had the Federal Reserve not stepped in and raised interest rates to stop that runaway train, we all would have been in a heap of trouble. Inflation has slowed from 9% to 3%. 4:35, if you're still struggling, then maybe it's time for a complete budget overhaul? That's what I always had to do. I couldn't blame "the economy" when I was not being responsible with my finances.

      Delete
    5. 4:57 it must be nice to think the economy is has gotten better.

      Delete
    6. Today's economy is horrible. I don't know what rug you been hiding under the past 4 years.

      Delete
    7. Prices on food are way higher than 4 years ago! A "budget overhaul" is not going to change that fact.

      Delete
    8. Prices on food and anything else are way higher than they were 4, 14, 40, or even 400 years ago. That's absolutely nothing new. I don't know why everyone is acting as if higher prices are a surprise. Wages are higher, too. Bread was 9 cents a hundred years ago. Annual income was $3000. Not much different than $4 bread and 80K income now. When I got married gas was 39 cents a gallon and our income was 12K a year. I never expected either of those to remain the same, and they didn't. They both went up by a factor of 10, and then our income surpassed that, making everything more affordable. Stop looking at prices and look at percentages.

      Delete
    9. @7:37 They're not going to look at percentages. That would require math and mAtH iS HaRd. It's much easier to complain and blame someone, even though it isn't any one person's fault and never is.

      Delete
    10. Yes, cost and wages do increase over time. However for people on a fixed income there is no increase. While SS increased a little it hasn’t kept up with inflation and most pensions are fixed. Even if you have a supplemental income for many it’s been tough.

      Delete
    11. SS does their yearly increases based on the previous year's inflation numbers. It keeps up but it lags about a a year. It was a 5.9% increase in 2022 , an 8.7% increase in 2023, and a 3.2% in 2024. Pensions - are you talking about lump sum or annuities? We took lump sum and immediately invested it, so it's making much more than inflation. People are supposed to plan for old age while they're young and working. Income needed after 65 should not come as a surprise to anyone. There are charts and formulas that will predict income vs. need. The problem is people don't want to save when they're younger and want a bigger house or a yearly vacation or a fancy new car. They forget to budget for old age. SS was never supposed to be your only income, only a supplement. I have friends who moan how hard it is to live on SS. They forgot they spent down their 401K's way too early (on "fun" stuff) and stopped working (to take SS) also too early. The old ant vs. grasshopper parable.

  25. 4:35am....I have read posts that said the reason these young undereducated couples are able to "live so well" with no apparent jobs is due to the fact that they don't drink alcohol and don't have to pay for cable TV...as they don't watch TV. Can you imagine that these were give as the reasons why?

    1. What marlarkey that was 3:13. I can't imagine anyone citing those as the reasons. Hello! Their father put them on TV when they were kids and then their sister fought for them all to get paid for that work they did. They're having field days with their chunks of that change.

They wanted to protect their name and legacy versus their daughters. They know the parents get blamed for everything their child does. But seeing their actions, it looks like in this case it is their fault.
