Henry Turns 4

Happy 4th birthday to Henry Seewald, the 7th Duggar grandchild! Fun fact: Henry is the 2nd in a line of six Duggar grandsons born over a period of two-and-a-half years, which was followed by 8 (soon to be 9) Duggar granddaughters.

  9. Happy 4th Birthday Henry Wilberforce Seewald. You are the most handsomest boy in the family. Hope your celebrating surrounded by family. Didn't realize until now that your the same age as Lexi Webster (John and Alyssa Bates Webster's second little girl). Maybe someday if it is God's will, you two will court and marry. Have a great day.

    3. 10:26, no, they are not related. The Bates and Duggar families are not related.

    5. Lexi and Henry aren't cousins. There's no biological relationship between the Duggars and Bateses.

    6. They aren't related 10:26

    7. They are not first cousins the duggars and the bates aren't related

    9. @10:26 The Bates and Duggar families are not related.

    10. They are NOT related. Henry is from the Duggar family, Lexi is from teh Bates family.

    11. Henry Seewald and Lexi Webster are not FIRST cousins. Alyssa is the daughter of Kelly and Gil Bates and is married to John Webster. Henry is the son of Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald. Jessa is the daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. So, if God decides that Henry Seewald and Lexi Webster should court and marry, then that would be fine. The Bates and Duggar Families have been friends for years.

    12. Hmm, true, Lexi is a week older than Henry! Both are middle kids too. But then there are a lot of Bates' granddaughters whom Henry can date once he grows up :).

    13. ??? Henry Duggar and Lexi Webster are not related at all.

    14. 10:26, no, they are not related in any way. You're mixing your families up.

    15. They aren’t cousins. The families are just good friends

    16. Anon. Feb. 7 10:26 a.m. The Duggar family and the Bates family are not related. Neither are any of their spouses.

    17. No, Henry and Lexi are not related at all.

    18. Why on earth are we talking about 4-year-olds getting married?!

    19. 5:10, they're not. This is "someday."

  12. I always wonder why some Duggar birthdays are reflkected here and some not. Foe example, now we have a full post on Henry's 4th birthday, but his older brother Spurgeon who turned 5 in November did not deserve a fully devoted post to him.

    1. I am sure Ellie and those running the blog are kind of busy with their own families during the pandemic. Ifnone birthday out of about 50 is missed, it's not a crisis. If you know about the birthday, you can certainly feel free to celebrate as you like.

    2. You can't expect the bloggers to remember every birthday, when they were posting the other birthdays they realised they missed Spurgie so they added him in with the others,as there are more birthdays each month it will happen with others too, February is getting larger number of birthdays now with another arriving soon, so Henry will likely have to share his birthday post with his cousins in the future too, oh dear, lol!

    3. Funny, it doesn't bother me in the least. There's so many in this family, it's a tall order to keep track of every birthday.

      Delete
    4. I would be perfectly fine with one birthday post for each month's birthdays. It's not like the kids know what is going on in an online blog.

  15. Happy Birthday lovely young man!

But I feel quite sad about lack of informative posts lately. Such a huge family, no one is up to anything worth mentioning?

    1. Well, seems evertime they post anything they get chewed out and criticized on social media. I would cut down on posting if I were them too and get that negativity out of my life and my kid's lives.

    2. I've noticed that posts of Jinger and family are few and far between and nothing gets posted of Jill and family. just because they are not on the show anymore doesn't mean they cant have up dates on here, does it?

      Delete
    3. 10:41, last year people were complaining about all the Jinger and Jeremy posts, which just goes to prove you can't always make everyone happy.

    4. It was mentioned a bit ago that he was much improved and doing fine in that regard.

    5. I can't ever catch what he says in those videos Jessa posts, but she seems to know what he says.

    6. My grandson turned 3 in December, he barely says any words. He tries to talk, but it’s all babbling. They all develop at their own rate!

      Delete
    7. What? He's speaking better so that all of the sudden makes him a math genius? That makes no sense LOL!

    8. 10:21, the word "and" is a connector but doesn't necessarily imply any cause/effect relationship.

    1. Why on earth you call him Henry VIII ?

      Delete
    2. 5:35, this is 11:00 am. I don't need to google him, I already know who that is. It has nothing to do with Jessa's son, which was my point.

      Delete
    3. 11 am, Henry VIII, is my nickname for Henry, since he was born, I called him that!!!!

      Delete
    4. OOPs 1 more thing, Henry VIII, is my 7th hero, and I love that king!!!!

      Delete
    5. 8:52, Henry VIII was a tyrant!

      Delete
    6. That is what everyone thinks, but I have my own reason for loving Henry VIII!!!!! If U look at what he did,he always did it for the greater good!!! Without Henry VIII, the world would not be the way it is!!!! Henry VIII Gave birth to the modern world, and Henry VIII brought real education, and gave the bible to everyone too!!!!

    2. When have any of the Duggars been concerned about stealing spotlights? They propose at weddings, for starters.

      Delete
    3. They propose at wedding (only happened once) with the bride and groom's consent. It's not "stealing" if there was prior consent.
