Before Jessa Seewald had baby Ivy Jane Seewald on Sunday, there were five pregnant Duggars (two daughters and three daughters-in-law). The ladies got a picture together on Easter Sunday. At that point, Anna, Lauren, and Joy-Anna had not yet made their announcements public. According to the girls, all four of the remaining due dates are in November. Cousin Amy Duggar is due with her first child in October, which will make for an exciting fall season for Great-Grandma Mary Duggar!
Here's a fun trivia question for you: In the past, what was the greatest number of Duggars who were pregnant at the same time, and who were they?

Here's a fun trivia question for you: In the past, what was the greatest number of Duggars who were pregnant at the same time, and who were they?
Lauren Duggar (now 20, 19 in the photo), Kendra Duggar (20),
Jessa Seewald (26), Anna Duggar (30), Joy-Anna Forsyth (21)

Glad they got the picture in before Jessa gave birth. But They're not ALL holding their belly.
ReplyDeleteUnless you’re standing on the end you don’t really need to.
DeleteHaha, I noticed that too. Here the belly holding is a little more subtle and suitable.
DeleteI think it’s abit odd how some women hold their bells for every single picture, we can see your pregnant
DeleteAT ONE POINT MICHELLE WAS PREGNAT ALONG WITH ANNA
DeleteTHE NEXT GROUP WERE ANA, JESSA, JILL
NEXT GROUP JESSA, JILL JOY ANA JINGER AND KENDRA
LAST GROUP ANNA JESSA JOY ANNA KENDRA
10.35, suitable for what?
DeleteSuitable for the situation. In the picture from Carlin's wedding, Joy was posed as though it were a maternity shoot.
DeleteIt would be interesting if they all gave birth on the SAME day in November.
ReplyDeleteNo it wouldn’t. Because then Michelle would have to choose who to be there for, probably her daughter Joy. Besides, their kids would want their birthdays. It’s easy enough to get lost in the shuffle in that big family.
DeleteI thought Kendra was due in October and Lauren in December..
DeleteI’m guessing both 2015 and 2017 when Jill, Jessa and Anna were pregnant.
ReplyDeleteAnd 2018, with Joy, Kendra and Jinger.
DeleteAlso, in summer 2017 there were Jill, Anna and Joy.
Joy and Anna look much further along than Kendra & Lauren. It will be a very busy time indeed and so much fun for all these cousins!
ReplyDeleteI think the answer is 3...Jill, Anna and Joy
ReplyDeleteAnd Also Jill, Jessa and Anna both in 2015 and 2017!
Delete3...Anna, Jill and Jessa
ReplyDeleteIf memory serves correctly, Jill, Anna, and Jessa were all pregnant at the same time. So were Joy, Kendra, and Jinger. I can't remember more than three expecting at the same time, though.
ReplyDeleteI think it was three. Jill, Jessa, and Anna.
ReplyDeleteCan't believe the four of them are due in November!!!! What a crazy month that's going to be, and a hectic Christmas with all the newborns! Wow! That is fun.
ReplyDeleteThis is a nice photo. They are not wearing skin tight tops, standing sideways and holding their bellies. Way to go.
ReplyDelete@ 4:06 And that’s what you call a back handed compliment.
DeleteI think it was three..Anna ,Jill ,Jessa.
ReplyDelete5 beautiful young women & hopefully will have safe pregnancies & safe deliveries... Ivy is a beautiful baby... congrats to all of the families
ReplyDeleteThere were three pregnant at the same time Jill Joy and Anna.I think?
ReplyDeleteWow so many babies how exciting
ReplyDeleteI see Lauren has been taught "belly holding". lol
ReplyDeleteMost women do that, you don’t have to be “taught” lol
DeleteNo, most women do not do that. Some women do.
Delete9:57, most women do that?? I am 48, been pregnant several times, and know lots of women. I have never ever seen anyone hold the bottom of their belly like this in every single photo. We all know they’re pregnant. No need to hold it.
DeleteI’m pretty sure it’s so you get a better glimpse at their baby bellies, which is harder to see when wearing a dress that isn’t form fitting.
DeleteI was pregnant 24 years ago with my son & you know reading all these comments has reminded me of a comment I received on the bus one day from someone that had once been a friend. She sat next to me & asked what I was up to, to which I replied I was expecting & she commented that I was already sitting with my hand on my bump. . . Like joy I showed early but slowed down as the pregnancy progressed. It really upset me at the time as I didn’t even realise I was doing it & it certainly wasn’t to draw attention to my pregnancy. For me it was just my way of protecting my baby & giving him love from the very beginning of life. All these comments about bump holding have brought that memory back to me & still now I think how rude that it was of her to make the comment the way she did. She sounded bitter when she said it & I could never understand why as I had never upset her & I lost both my parents when very young, you would of thought she would be happy for me, not making a nasty comment. If not everyone that’s been pregnant has held their bump then that’s fine but most ladies do. Here in the UK the press were very rude to Meghan Markle about her amount of bump holding too so the Duggar ladies are in good company.
DeleteLet me correct myself; most young women do that. If you feel uncomfortable doing it then don’t, but don’t criticize others for doing something that doesn’t harm you in any way.
Delete3 Anna Jill Jessia then Jinger Joy Kendra. So at the most 3
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all the Mommy's! A baby is such a blessing and always exciting. God bless ALL of Ya'll and I just Love Your family!
ReplyDeleteprayerladyd@gmail.com Denise
What a lovely picture of all these mums to be. You can see all the little bumps except Kendra who try as I might, I cannot see a baby bump as yet. Kendra was very compact with her bump last time & I thought she looked stunning toward the end of her pregnancy when she posted a picture in a very pretty floral blouse., she was truly glowing. Joy seems to sprout early & slow down as time progresses. I see this a lot with the ladies I see at work, many have quite substantial bumps at 8-9 weeks but by the time they get to 7 months they actually look smaller than many of the other mums. It’s always fun to see how pregnant ladies develop as they go along & I'm looking forward to seeing all four of these ladies progress. Jessa was really quite big on her last posted picture at 38 weeks but little Ivy was quite petite. It just shows you can’t tell by a photo, at least with an exam you can tell what’s baby & what’s liquor fluid. Good luck to all the rest of these mums as they go forward in their journey & hopefully all have easy, safe deliveries, with wonderful healthy babies. Christmas in Jim Bob & Michelle's house is going to be very eventful & noisy.
ReplyDelete3 - Jill, Jessa and Anna
ReplyDeleteWow,Jessa is seven and half months and Joy is two and a half months in the photo and they are the same size,Kendra isn't showing at all and she announced a month before Joy,even at lauren's birthday photo ten days ago she was'nt showing, she's like me I started showing at five months and was small throughout the pregnancy,in fact with a coat on I did'nt look pregnant, lol.
ReplyDeleteI am sure there will be those--one again--who will feel the need to express their unwanted opinion of Joy's "size". There's nothing so unkind like being publically called out for gaining extra weight in one's pregnancy by a lot of self righteous strangers.
DeleteAnon 3.03. No one is saying joy has put on weight, we are commenting on her bump which is baby not fat. If you look at joys face you can see she hasn’t gained weight it’s just her baby bump that’s visible. Lots of women show early & can be quite large by 8-9 weeks but then by the time they get further along at 7-8 months they often look smaller than other mums. Joy was like that first time around. She looked very pregnant early on but then slowed down as the months progressed. I was the same with my son, I looked pregnant at 8 weeks but as I got to 6 months I wasn’t any bigger than anyone else. No one should call a lady out for weight ever but especially while pregnant. Nothing annoys me more than people who go on about bouncing back into shape after birth too. It takes 9 months to grow a baby, it should take at least that time to get back to any kind of pre-pregnancy size, & some like myself never so, because we have had the great fortune to give life to another human. I’m definitely with you on the fact it’s very wrong saying anyone has gained weight in pregnancy.
DeleteJoy was showing very early last time as well. They were at Kendra and Joe's wedding, which was less than 3.5 months after her wedding, and she looked huge. People were questioning if she got pregnant before the wedding, because she just looked so big, She probably just carries babies like this. Everyone is different. Like, Alyssa Bates was not showing like till 7 months.
DeleteTo 3:49 = I does not have to take 9 months to bounce back! It really depends on how much effort you put into it. With good diet and exercise it can be achieve in weeks or a few months. It just depends on the individual and how much they work at it.
Delete@10:14 Not everyone can achieve that in weeks or months - sometimes ever. Pregnancy can throw off your entire metabolism. It can throw out your back. It can weaken muscles and ligaments. It can change feet size, chest size, and give you a whole new balance challenge to overcome. It can exhaust you, during and after. You can put all the work you can possibly muster into losing weight or getting "back in shape," but it may not happen.
DeleteGive women a break. Don't encumber anyone with the expectation of being be back in a bikini before the baby even has its first tooth! Women have seriously wrecked their health (or lost their lives) trying to get "skinny" and meet society's expectations.
Your number one priority is to be around to raise that child. It doesn't matter what size you are after pregnancy, or how long you are that new size. You make it sound as if it's simply a matter of determination, and if you don't achieve the weight loss quickly, you're slacking off. Sadly, science still hasn't come up with the definitive reasons why some people gain and maintain extra weight so easily, and until they do, don't blame it on an individual's willpower or lack thereof. There's way more at play.
Anon 3.49: my comment came from a medical perspective. At post natal appointments we always tell new mothers not to rush into dieting & exercise but to concentrate on their baby. We always say it takes 9 months to grow your baby so will maybe take the same time to get back to anywhere near pre pregnancy shape. I totally disagree with with your comments as it sounds like new mums should be dieting & exercising, they should not do either for at least the first 6 weeks, & if breast feeding they need more calories not less. As I say my comments come from a medical perspective as a doctor of midwifery.
DeleteAgain to reiterate new mums should not do strenuous exercise until after their 6 week post natal exam. Gentle pelvic floor exercises is really all you should do initially, & maybe some gentle stretching. It concerns me the way you think you can be back in shape within weeks as this is not recommended at all. Obviously everyone should have a good diet with 5 portions of fruit & veg daily, protein, pasta & wholemeal food but not a diet as such. Far too much emphasis is put on new mother’s getting back into shape. The uterus does not even return to pre pregnancy size until 6-8 weeks after birth. I’m sure some young women reading this blog will listen to what your saying & it’s not advisable medically.
DeleteBreastfeeding alone will help some of the weight come off. If it don't come off the first 9 mos it will probably when the baby starts walking and you got to start chasing it around - lol!!!!!
Delete"You done had a baby Miss Scarlet and you ain't never going to be no 18.5 [waist] inches again. Never. And there ain't nothing to do about it." Gone With the Wind, 1930's. Even Margaret Mitchell knew what happens after pregnancy, and she had no children when that was written.
Delete21 is too young to be pregnant with your second.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you! Slow down and enjoy your 20s!
DeleteNo it’s not
Deleteat least they're married with husbands who take care of them.
DeleteI know 21 yr. olds who can take care of themselves without having to have a husband.
DeleteThus is what the Duggars do. Women marry young and start having kids as soon as possible. No birth control means it’s likely there will be quite a few. Having a career is not in the cards for them, because they’re taught that being a homemaker is their only job. Anything else will get in the way.
DeleteNo body has to have a baby or has to have a husband. Have you ever thought, maybe they WANT them?
DeleteI'm 21 and I only WISH I was expecting my second child. You don't make the rules for everyone else
DeleteThe official age of getting married is 18, or 17 in some states.
DeleteIt 's too young to even be married, but that's all these poor young ladies are taught. No college or careers. Their careers are to be sahm's and housewives. They're not told that a woman can be married with kids and also have a career. Or maybe no kids or marriage and be happy living on her own and single. My opinion. Hope they do all have great pregnancies and healthy happy babies.
Delete5:38, not everyone wants kids and a career simultaneously. I would so much rather be at home with my kids and enjoy these years with them than be juggling family, home, and career. My life is so full right now that it would be just plain stressful to add a job in there.
DeleteOriginal poster, where is this rule written and by whom?
DeleteHow strange! They are smth like 2-3 month pregnant and we can see it (with the exception of Kendra) Joy-Anna looks as big as Jessa with 6 or 7 more month to go!
ReplyDeleteRUDE
Delete@5:11 it's the way she's built. I was big at 3 months myself. It all evens out as the months go on. You'll see some of them pop out , while a few may stay small. It's how your built and as the pregnancies continue how the baby is laying. As long as mom and baby are healthy that's all that matters.
DeleteIt's the light-colored dress I think and the way she is standing.
DeleteI don't think it's just the dress and the way she's standing. She was big early on like this with Gideon too.
Delete3
ReplyDelete2015: Jill(April), Anna(July), and Jessa(November)
2017: Jessa(February), Jill(July), Anna(September)
2018: Joy(February), Kendra(June), and Jinger(July) PS: Lauren pregnant but miscarried in October
Before that were 1 in 2009, 2011, and 2013 by Anna PS: (miscarriage in 2010 by Anna)
MO..the three younger girls here are very young, yes, but they look even younger than they are! To say they are pregnant, and two of them with their 2nd child, just seems sad to me. Great picture though, and I am sure they are happy ladies, but goodness. Furthermore, not all birth control methods require disrupting a women's body, which is why they are against it..simple contraception would not be bothersome in the least for them. I know they want to have kids, and kids are such a blessing, but it is like they still are kids themselves..like I said, just sharing my point of view.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing “sad” about it. Some people love kids and WANT to have a lot. Biologically it is easier to be pregnant when you’re younger so if you want a lot of kids it makes since to start having them in your early twenties. None of them are still “kids themselves” they are all adult women who may make their own choices as they please. Just because it’s not what you would choose to do does not mean that it’s wrong.
DeleteAnon 5.17. I don’t just think it’s the 3 younger girls that look even younger, I actually think Jessa & especially Anna look years younger. They both look in their early 20s which for Anna who is 30 with 5 children is a very nice complement. Anna is looking amazing at the moment. I have so much respect for this woman & what she has gone through over the last few years. I wish her so much happiness as she truly deserves it. This is just a generally nice picture of all these ladies. Having children so early in life is not for everyone, especially in this day & age, & I know we do still think of woman who are 20 to be young for having a baby, let alone be on their second child. However this is just how this family with their religious beliefs do things. These girls seem to want marriage & babies as soon as they are legally old enough to have them. I do agree though it’s not for everyone & I totally see your point of view & to many people a 19-20 year old is still very much a child. Thankfully they have big families around them for support & advice, I think if this was not the case more people may have concerns as they are still quite young to have so much responsibility & I sometimes think when someone comments like you have people see them as being rude when actually you have genuine concern for their physical & mental health.
DeleteJessa, Jill, Anna, Jinger were all pregnant before.
ReplyDeleteJinger wasn't pregnant at the same time as Anna.
DeleteBeautiful! I thought Kendra was due in October. I think there were 3 pregnant at the same time before. Joy, Kendra & Jinger.
ReplyDeleteWas it end of September 2017 Anna with Mason, Joy with Gideon, Kendra with Garrett and Jinger with Felicity?
ReplyDeleteNo, Jinger didn't give birth until July. That would have been a long pregnancy! :)
DeleteJinger wasn’t pregnant yet because she was due in mid-July, meaning she conceived in late October-early november
DeleteAnna had Mason only a couple days after Kendra and Joe got married. Without being able to pinpoint the exact date that Kendra conceived, you can't say for sure she was pregnant within a few days of her wedding.
DeleteKendra said she was due on Father’s Day, so she conceived late september. Anna had already given birth
DeleteSept.28 would put Jinger at 42 weeks from when she gave birth. I don't think she went 42 weeks but it would have been a possibility.
Delete@Anon 10:11 It still possible for Kendra and Anna to have been expecting the same time. Mason wasn't born until 9/12/17 and Garrett would be 42 weeks as of 8/27/17 if the due date was father's day.
DeleteJoy looks way too big to be due in November. She would only have been a couple of months or so along at Easter, wouldn't she? Maybe my calculations are off.
ReplyDeleteSome people show reeaally early, and then don’t grow as much throughout the rest of their pregnancy. You really can’t base how far along someone is on stomach size. I had a friend who didn’t show at all until she was almost seven months pregnant lol
DeleteShe showed really early with her last pregnancy. Everyone is different.
DeleteShe looked very big early on with her last baby too.
DeleteIt has been established many times that belly size doesn’t determine how far along you are. Some people start showing at 2 Months, some people at 6.
DeleteJoy showed early her last pregnancy and the same thing is happening now.
19 and pregnant. Sounds like a reality TV show.
ReplyDeleteExcept they're all in stable marriages.
DeleteCongratulations ladies!I am so happy for you all. Hoping for happy health babies and mamas.
ReplyDeleteOf course, Joy Anna and Lauren are the only two that felt the need to grab and hold their stomachs. Kendra, Jessa, and Anna have much more class. They didn't feel the need to accentuate their "bumps".
ReplyDeleteIt has nothing to do with class, Joy and Lauren were standing on the end of either side so they put their hands on their bellies. There is NOTHING wrong with doing that. Jessa, Kendra, and Anna have all posted pictures holding their stomachs. Your comment is certainly not classy, you sound very rude.
DeleteMaybe Lauren wanted to show her bump, since it's a pregnancy picture and since her dress hides it. And Joy isn't really defining the bump, more just touching it. I've seen worse.
DeleteSo what if their want to? Their baby, their belly, their body, their choice
DeleteI think Lauren has every right to hold her little bump. After what she has previously gone through this baby will be even more precious to her & she will clearly want to protect it as best she can, rubbing & touching your bump is a way of doing this. It has nothing to do with class & I think Lauren is full of class actually, the way she conducted herself after becoming part of the Duggar’s family & thrust into the limelight was admirable. It’s appropriate you feel the need to hide behind anonymity & not put a name to your post.
DeleteI'm pregnant and I don't walk around clutching my bump all the time, but I DO often rest my hand there during a photo - if I don't, I just look REALLY large, not pregnant. I don't care if it's classy or not- I'd rather it be obvious I'm expecting a baby, instead of appearing I suddenly doubled in size. 😊
DeleteFuzzyferet @12:02 you made a comment about people posting as “Anonymous”, perhaps they are protecting their privacy so they aren’t stalked on Facebook or instagram. Is Fuzzyferet your real name?....if not then you are technically anonymous as well.
DeleteAnon. I don’t have Facebook & I don’t put my actual name on anything posted online as it’s to do with security issues from my past, which is why I don’t have Facebook. I suppose thinking along those lines we all could be anonymous, who knows if the lady that posts as “Jane” is actually called that ? We don’t. My point is when you put anonymous there are many posters that use that title, at least people who give some kind of name to their post can be identified by such. Maybe as you put anonymous you are the OP, I don’t know that as your both posting as anonymous, that’s my point.
DeleteSo we should number ourselves, like Duggar Kids? Can I be Anonymous #1 of the 1900 Anonymii And Counting?
DeleteI read the comments, not who wrote them.
DeleteIn the year 2014, 3 Duggars were pregnant at the same time: Jill with Israel, Anna with Meredith, and Jessa with Spurgeon.
ReplyDeleteSuperJames! I was just thinking the other day that we haven't seen you in a while. How are you?
DeleteHi SuperJames.
DeleteHello Anon. 10:42/3:15.
DeleteYeah, I haven't been on my computer in a month or so.
As for how I'm feeling, not so well. I haven't been able to go to therapy all year and it's taken a toll on me.
I'm sorry to hear that. :(
DeleteI thought how nice it was to see you back posting superjames, however I’m so sorry to hear your not doing so good. Take care of yourself & I hope things are better for you soon.
DeleteThank you, Anon. 8:39 & Fuzzyferet.
DeleteI'm glad to inform that things have been looking up ever since I started working at Chick Fill-A.
Gender and Due Date guess
ReplyDeleteKendra: Boy in last week of October
Joy: Girl in first week of November
Anna: Boy in first week of November
Lauren: Girl in first week of November
For November Joy 1, Anna 2, and Lauren 3
I thought Jessa was going to have a Boy on June 7 (of course wrong thou
There were 3 when it was Anna, Jill, and Jessa. Also Kendra, Joy, and Jinger. Can't remember if there have been any times with 4. And whoa, November is going to be a crazy month for their family!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if any of them overlapped enough to be 4 at once. Joy overlapped with Jill and Anna. Anna had Mason only a few days after Kendra got married so I feel like one was just conceiving when the other was giving birth and they didn't really overlap.
DeleteJill, Jessa and Anna were all pregnant at the same time twice. Israel, Meredith and Spurgeon then Henry, Samuel and Mason. Joy was pregnant with Gideon after Henry was born and just before Samuel was born. Lots of overlapping but I think 3 is the most at once.
It was Anna, Jill and Jessa I think. I’ve seen a picture of them standing by that door
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see most of the girls letting their arms hang and not grasping their stomachs. It’s ok here, but I thought it was in poor taste in Joy’s picture when she was a bridesmaid for the Bates daughter. Joy called to much attention to herself - not her day!
ReplyDeleteJoy did not in any way call attention to herself by putting her hand on her belly, and it did not in anyway take from Carlin’s day. Carlin even posted a picture with HER hand on Joy’s belly, so she obviously didn’t care and neither should you.
DeleteI don't know why so many of them hold their stomach like that. It's like "okay, I know you are pregnant."
DeleteJoy does this in every single picture, and it looks like Lauren is going to do the same. They certainly did it in every picture of Carlin Bates wedding that I have seen them in. At one point it even made Joy's dress look wrinkled. Ok we get it girls your pregnant.
DeleteI don't think there has been more than 3 ladies pregnant at any one time
ReplyDeleteJill jessa Anna
Joy kendra jinger
So I reckon this is the most ever
Cute! So far most pregnant Duggar ladies together.
ReplyDeleteIn the past it was Michelle and Anna (Josie and Mackenzie)
Then Jill with Israel and Anna with Meredith and Jessa with Spurgeon.
Then Jessa with Henry and Jill with Samuel and Anna with Mason I think.
And most recent Joy Anna with Gideon, Kendra with Garret and Jinger with Felicity
Joy overlapped with Jill and Anna for a short time too.
DeleteJoy just can't stop herself from holding her stomach, can she? None of the other pregnant women in the photo are doing that!
ReplyDeleteLauren is, and literally every woman in this picture has posted a picture holding their stomach while they were pregnant so calm down.
DeleteIf you look closely, you will see that Lauren is holding her stomach too.
Delete.... Lauren is holding it even more prominently. Joy is barely touching it
DeleteDo you criticize the Bates family too? Josie (Bates) Balka does the same thing as do many pregnant women. Nobody is trying to take attention away from anyone else by doing this.
DeleteIt is a motherly protective measure. Geez.
DeleteWho are the Bates?
DeleteI believe it was 4 at once and it was Anna, Jill, Jessa and Jinger.
ReplyDeleteI am so tickled for all of them! Six Duggar babies before the end of the year!
It was 10 months and one week from when Anna had Mason to when Jinger had Felicity so almost but not quite.
DeleteJill ~ Israel, Anna ~ Meredith and Jessa ~ Spurgeon
DeleteJessa ~ Henry, Jill ~ Samuel and Anna ~ Mason
Jill ~ Samuel, Anna ~ Mason and Joy ~ Gideon
Joy ~ Gideon, Kendra ~ Garrett and Jinger ~ Felicity
Jessa ~ Ivy and Lauren ~ miscarriage (had the same due date)
Lovely picture! Looking forward to the arrival of all of these babies. Would love an update on Amy as well :).
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting to see the big disparity in belly size for four women all due in the same month!
ReplyDeleteYeah. Kendra and Anna don't seem that large. I think Lauren will get really huge because she's so tiny.
DeleteI don't know. Ivy was born on the same day as the picture was taken, riiiiighhhht??
ReplyDelete8:13 AM: No, this picture was taken April 21st (Easter Sunday) and Ivy Jane was born May 26th, one month after.
DeleteNo this picture was from Easter
DeleteNo, the post says the pic is from Easter.
DeleteNo. The picture was taken in April. Ivy was born the past Sunday. I hope that clears it up for you.
DeleteThis was taken on Easter (April 21) Ivy was born May 26.
DeleteNo this was taken in April - Easter Sunday, not last Sunday.
DeleteThank you guys I was just confused, because this was taken on a Sunday and beautiful Ivy was born on a Sunday!! Thanks again!!
DeleteNice photo. Not one of them was wearing a skin tight top either.
ReplyDeleteAww, sweet girls!💗
ReplyDeleteThey really vary in size bump wise. They don't all look like they would be due in the same month. Yes I am aware people grow at different rates and individuals are shaped differently. I am just making an observation. They are a lovely group of girls. What a busy and exciting month that will be for the Duggar family, eh?
ReplyDeletesuper busy. jessa, sppurg and justin w bdays AND jinger, jessa and jd with anniversaries.
DeleteEveryone is commenting on the size of their bumps and who is showing more. This photo just shows that each woman carries their pregnancy differently. Some show more than others and that is totally normal! As long as momma and baby are healthy, who cares on the size of the bump.
ReplyDeleteHere here anon 10.27. Never a truer word spoken. It’s all that matters, health of mum & baby.
DeleteI think Lauren and Joy will be in October by the looks of their tummies.
ReplyDeleteMaybe cousin Amy will share a pic with us!
ReplyDeleteHi!! Its me again. I though Kendra was farther along than Joy but Joy looks like she has a bigger stomach, then again in Joy and Austin's pregnant pictures, they already had an ultra-sound, same with Lauren so maybe those two just found out later on in their pregnancy than Kendra. Does that make sense??
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they found out right away. First ultrasounds aren't typically until 9 weeks unless there is extra monitoring.
DeleteThey keep a supply of pregnancy test kits on hand. I'm sure they know right away if they're pregnant. They make announcements whenever.
DeleteI always held my pregnant belly, even in pictues...
ReplyDelete1) So it brought attention for my kids to know after they were born that I was pregnant with them
2) To show I wasnt just overweight from pregnancy ...after my kids were born, I still "looked" pregnant so I wanted to show specifically ok, I was pregnant here but not there
3) Its a great place to rest hands 😉
4) My first pregnancy, I had a c section, 2nd pregnancy, holding my belly low gave support
5) Cant hold the baby yet...I felt like holding my baby was not yet possible so I held my baby through my pregnant belly
I mean the list is endless, but my reasons anyways...loved my pregnant belly..to each their own but I loved to hold my belly!!!
November is going to be a super fun month for the Duggar family! Four babies will be so amazing! How fun for them as they grow up together!
ReplyDeleteI thought that Kendra is due in October. And cousin Amy too.
Deletetwo things...i wish there was a pic that included amy. second, in 10 years Josie will be 20 and Anna 40 and mackenzie 21. we could have 21 babies in a year if everyone was pregnant.
ReplyDeleteYeah. A couple more marriages and there will be perpetual pregnancy in the Duggar family. Someone will be pregnant all the time. lol
DeleteMackynzie will turn 10 in October, so in 10 years she will be only 20. But of course she can be married and pregnant, and even Michael can be married at 18... Hopefully Josie is in good general health, she looks kind of small and skinny, but hope she'll have kids too.
DeleteMackynzie and Josie were born the same year.
DeleteThe older Josie gets, the more apparent it is that she's still petite and may always be that way due to her birth history.
DeleteNow all we need is for Abbie to announce she's pregnant and bump the number back up to 5.
ReplyDeleteWho knows, maybe Abbie is already pregnant and they do have a picture of 6 girls together, just don't release it yet. Maybe Abbie is not that far along and does not want to announce. I think Jill might be pregnant too. She posted so many pictures recently, modeling different tops and dresses, and all of them are very free style, like maternity. Like, it's convenient style for any occasion, but then why not model something slim as well?
DeleteA lovely photo of the ladies, Kendra ever so discreet with her growing child.
ReplyDeleteHow can someone be discrete about being pregnant? It's not her choice or her doing whether she shows or not.
DeleteGood stomach muscles and posture can go a long way toward how much you show for the first part of pregnancy. That said, I don't know that Kendra's size in this picture has anything to do with her discretion. Everyone is different, which is exactly what this picture of four women due in the same month shows us.
DeleteI think they meant that Kendra's not pushing her clothes in and arching her back to try to show us a bump that's maybe the size of an apple.
DeleteAs of today, (May 31st, 2019) Mackenzie and Josie, are 9. and Jordyn, is 10. Thus, on May 31st, 2029, Anna, will be 40, Mackenzie and Josie will be 19, and Jordyn will be 20. Thus, you could have all 19 of the Duggar Siblings, and their spouses, expecting, plus Mackenzie and her spouse, for a total, of 20, babies.
ReplyDeleteWow. That would be amazing.
Deletehttps://www.duggarfamilyblog.com/p/birthdays.html Here is a list, of all of the Duggars, birthdays.
ReplyDeleteIn 2015 Jill had Israel in April, Anna had Meredith in July and Jessa had Spurgeon in November. I think they had some picture when Jill was at the end of her pregnancy and Jessa was not even showing, but she knew she was pregnant.
ReplyDeleteThen in 2017 Jessa had Henry in February, Jill had Samuel in July and Anna had Mason in September. I'm not sure if there were pics, I think Anna announced in March only, but maybe they took pics before. But they were pregnant at the same time - Anna probably conceived in mid December, and Henry was born at the beginning of February. So all January they were all pregnant together.
then in 2018 Joy had Gideon in February, then Kendra had Garrett in June and Jinger had Felicity in July. I remember they had a cute pics of 3 girls holding different fruits for each one's week of pregnancy. I actually wish they did something like this now, with 5 girls.
Now it was actually 6 of them, if we count Amy as a Duggar, even though she is a cousin. I thought that Jill and Abbie would join them for sure. Then it would be 7 pregnant Duggar sisters plus Amy. It would be hysterical if Jinger was pregnant too. I think by now Michelle and Jim Bob lost count to their grandkids. Jessa had their 13th grandchild, and another 4 are coming. And then I'm sure Abbie and Jill will follow soon... That really will be "Whose child are you?" :):) It would be cool if they made a photo of all grandkids at once. In different color clothes. Like "Team Jill", "Team Jessa" and so on :).
I don't understand why people want Amy in the "baby derby" with JB's and Michelle's offspring. She's made it pretty clear she's not into having as many babies as she can produce like her cousins.
DeleteIn 10 years there will be an 19-year old Mackynzie, 18-year old Michael, 16-year old Marcus, then Israel, Meredith and Spurgeon will be 14 and getting driver's licenses; Henry, Samuel and Mason will be 12, Gideon, Garrett and Felicity will be 11. Little Ivy Jane will be 10, and she will have at least four 10-year old cousins running around.
ReplyDeleteBy then I'm sure there will be probably 40-50 new Duggar grandkids.
Johannah will be 23, and by then she will have at least 3 kids. Jenni will be 22, Jordyn -20. Josie will be 19 and actually might be getting married. Boys Jed, Jer, Jason, James, Justin, Jackson will be 30 to 24 yo, and each will have 3 to 5 kids too. And older kids will continue having kids at least every 2 years. I'm sure at some point there might be a situation when all 19 Duggar kids can be pregnant at the same time! In 10 years Anna will be 40, Jill 38, Jessa 37, Jinger 36. Kendra and Lauren will be 30. By that time Jessa actually might have 8-10 kids.
That is mind bobbling. I wonder how the "family business" is going to support all of them.
DeleteJill, Jessa, and Anna! (I think)
ReplyDeleteWow, so they did have a photoshoot after all! SO glad they were able to have a chance to take a pic! As according to the blog on May 21st "According to Jessa, the five Duggar ladies who are currently preganant are planning a photo shoot, hopefully before Jessa's delivery". So we may have thought they hadn't had a chance to do a photoshoot, but it turns out they had already had one back in March, so that was lucky!
ReplyDeleteThey were actually planning to do a full photo shoot, this was just a picture taken on Easter.
DeleteHey 5 begot 14 eh????
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how they all are due within a month from each other (well, except for Jessa of course). PLus Amy Duggar too. Five Duggars.
ReplyDeleteIN the past only Garrett and Felicity were quite close (June and July in 2018).
I also find it interesting that this year Mackynzie, the first grandchild will be 10, and her birthday is in October. So all these new babies being born in October/November are coming like to celebrate 10 years of Duggar grandkids. Only within last 3 years (2017-2019) it's 11 grandkids! And in 2018-2019 - 8 grandkids!
Congrats to everyone expecting. November will be a busy month hopefully one is born on my birthday and hopefully all events are filmed. Love watching the show. Natasha B.
ReplyDeleteCome Christmas, the family get-together will include 10 grandchildren age 2 or under. That's a whole lot of diapers and pull-ups going on!
ReplyDeleteAnd there will always be someone needing a nap or feeding!
DeleteThere will always be someone crying and someone with a runny nose too. Christmas with germy toddlers can be memorable.
DeleteWell, they're keeping the home pregnancy test industry humming right along!
