Josiah and Lauren Duggar
Last week on "Love is in the Air," we witnessed John-David Duggar's proposal to Abbie Burnett, we saw Jana Duggar and Jessa Seewald set up Felicity Vuolo's nursery, and we watched Jinger Vuolo be admitted to the hospital for induction. Tonight, Jinger and Jeremy welcome their baby, and newlyweds Josiah and Lauren Duggar embark on their honeymoon,

I've watched every episode since the first Duggar show, and I just can't do it any more. I didn't watch last week. I won't watch this week. The show is too far behind and repeating footage and wasting time doing dumb stuff again (hot sauce challenge?). There are better shows on other channels on a Monday night. Anyone else given up the way I have?
ReplyDeleteI gave it up a couple of years ago. The constant reruns were too much. Doing stupid stuff like growing avocados and grinding coffee isn't entertainment IMO.
DeleteYes. Several years ago actually.
DeleteYes, I gave up a long time ago.
DeleteNope! We love watching the family
DeleteI think the novelty of anything wears off eventually. The Duggar shows have had a good run, but the current content is very stale and redundant. That's the way it goes with any show that is on too long. I was originally curious only about how such a big family operates day-to-day. They pretty much answered that in the first few seasons.
DeleteYup. It’s just ridiculous. A hot sauce challenge? Jessa saying “you just never know what is going to happen”? Really? It’s all the same. Literally. It’s not even entertaining. I honestly don’t understand how it keeps being renewed.
DeleteI think it is still interesting. The couples are all different, and it is interesting to see how they do things. I also love not having to worry about there being inappropriate things on the show or bad language.
DeleteLost interest long ago. NOTHING is real anymore, well except for the weddings and pregnancies😒
DeleteTLC is going to do a three-peat of "Love is in the Air"? Wow. That's a bit much IMO.
ReplyDeleteWell, I don’t know what to say. I love the Duggars but this season’s episodes so far are very different from last season which I watched many times. The frequent repeated scenes take away from the over all enjoyment of the show. I’m sure TLC realizes this though, so the question remains, Why do they continue the practice? Are they deliberately trying to get low ratings so they won’t have to keep Counting On , on their line up of shows? If that is the case, I hope they get picked up by another group who
ReplyDeletewill keep up to date and with no repeat footage.
Love watching the show especially when John David proposed to Abbie. I can't wait to watch the wedding and honeymoon. I do hope Abbie stays with her career. Natasha B.
ReplyDeleteI love the Duggars but the show is starting to be a real drag. Each show is largely a repeat of the the one before it and, like another commentor said, it's so far behind specially since I can follow them on their social media pages. I tend not to watch much like I did before. Rather disappointing...
ReplyDeleteI wish they would show more of Joseph and Kendra. Kendra has the most beautiful, joyful countenance! When they are televised, which seems rare, they bring such happiness and love to the screen.
ReplyDeleteI would give them credit if they're choosing to limit their participation with the show. I don't think they should live their lives to please fans.
DeleteI agree. Kendra brings joy. Joseph is so blessed to have her.
DeleteI don’t expect them to appear on tv to please the fans. It’s just fun to see them when they are on.
DeleteLove watching the show .
ReplyDeleteMy opinion is that this couple had the most boring, childish honeymoon two adults could muster up. "The Sound of Music" tour? Sorry they didn't take in the beautiful churches and architecture that is Austria.
ReplyDeleteYes, that is just your opinion.
