Tonight: Wedding and Honeymoon

Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson

The highly anticipated day has arrived! After a four-month break, the Duggars are just hours away from returning to TLC with new episodes of Counting On.

Earlier this year, we watched Joy and Austin Forsyth's Swiss honeymoon, as well as Joseph and Kendra Duggar's wedding. We also saw Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo move into their new house, Spurgeon Seewald have his first haircut, Joy and Austin adjust to life as newlyweds, Kendra's choose her wedding dress, and more.

To see what the network has in store this season, take a look at this promo video. Tonight's episode starts at 9 ET/8 CT, runs for two full hours, and features the wedding of Josiah and Lauren Duggar and the honeymoon of Joseph and Kendra Duggar.

    1. why are we going back to Joseph and Kendra's wedding when they already have a new baby? Boring

    2. Then why are you even on the Duggar Family website? To make mean comments? Most people who say they won't watch a TV show on average watch the show 2 times more then a fan.

    3. @ 11:57 I am a true blue fan of the Duggars however I post constructive feedback on this blog from my perspective as a fan and viewer. You have to admit yourself the show is way behind and the timelines thrown together in a single episode are confusing. I want to see more of what made me fall in love with this family.

  5. This is quite old news already. How could TLC have the nerve to introduce the content of this stale season with such 'anticipation' like it's new and we don't know the events and their outcomes? This network REALLY needs to do something with such a long lagging timeline.

  9. Nothing but rehashing old news. Can’t TLC film more currently??

  10. Seems like tlc could care less about this show anymore. It is just thrown together with old news and flashbacks of already viewed footage. Why are the Duggars not doing something about it such as finding a new network like UP.

  11. Joe and Kendra’s honeymoon was nearly an entire year ago...

    1. I was annoyed it took up the majority of the premiere.

  12. I’m sorry. I know I shouldn’t ask this but I just have to wonder. Is Kendra’s constant giggling nervous laughing because she is on tv or do you thing she constantly giggles on and off tv. She is so cute and sweet but it even gets hard to hear her because she giggles as she is conversing. It’s hard to get to know her in the filming. She will probably get more comfortable.

    1. I also noticed the constant giggling. I heard Joe make the comment that she giggles when she gets tired.

    2. At this point it's a habit. Too bad her parents didn't help her learn to control it when she was younger. When she is not giggling she seems like a bright and articulate person.

    3. Then she must be constantly tired. I think it’s a nervous habit, one that can be overcome. Since she pointed out to him that licking your plate is not good manners , maybe he can point out that her giggling is annoying.

    4. Kendra is a lovely girl but that giggling is beyond. I agree that her parents should have helped her but she is old enough to retrain herself. It's gotten that every time she speaks I mute it

  13. Just finished watching the two full hours. It was great! Looking forward to next week’s episode.

  14. I do not mean any offense towards the Duggars but to be honest tonight's premere other than the wedding was a total snoozefest. Gonna be the same for me as last season, I watch a couple episodes once the season kicks off and get bored and stop watching.

  15. The honeymoon took up most of tonights show. I was very disappointed. Who wants to watch a honeymoon of a couple that you recently watched on tlcgo bring their first child into the world?!?!

  16. A Greek honeymoon, that would be fun!

  17. I am curious about the reason the Swansons moved to Arkansas, Does anyone know?

    1. I could be wrong but I was under the impression they moved to Arkansas for Lauren and Josiahs courtship. Please feel free to correct me of I am incorrect

    2. So Lauren could court Josiah.

    3. Can’t imagine my family moving to another state so I or a sibling could court!!!

    4. You are incorrect.

  18. I was disappointed in the wedding coverage by TLC. It was the same as the previews. Nothing added. No reception. We did not get to see the bridesmaids walk down the aisle before the bride came in. No pictures of Jordyn as flower girl. Will there be another longer version later in the season? The best coverage by TLC was for Joy Jinger's and Joe's weddings. Jill and Jessa's were interrupted too many times with too much discussion. And Josiah's was too short. But maybe there will be a longer special yet to come.

    1. Yes, I would have liked to see more of that and less of the honeymoon.

    2. I would have liked to see more of the wedding!

  19. Nice to see Lauren and Josiah relationship, but not the only season with three babies. Israel Meredith and Spurgeon were all born on one season and Henery Samuel and Mason on another ,also three wedding Jinger Joy and Joseph on same season

  20. I recorded this episode and watched last evening. It was one of the best episodes in forever! Yes, some parts were repeated info; but Kendra and Joe’s honeymoon feature was fun (even her, sometimes, irritating nervous giggle) and Ben and Jessa’s spot was pretty nice!

  21. I liked seeing the honeymoon. I like seeing other Cultures and the beautiful views
