Happy Monday to my wonderful blog readers. I (blog author Ellie) have a big announcement to share with all of you. My lifestyle blog, NashvilleWife.com, has a brand new look! The design process took several weeks, but the new layout is officially up and running.
To celebrate, I'm running a summer-themed giveaway. To enter, visit me at NashvilleWife.com. While you're there, drop me a note to let me know what you think of the new website. I value your feedback.

Why do you call your husband the name you do? Seems it draws peoples' attention to his appearance and would be more of a name you would use in private.
ReplyDeleteIt is weird. You should go ahead and use his real first name. No last name is fine. But first name for sure!
DeleteI don't think using a nickname is weird. It's her blog and her choice whether she wants to reveal his name. It doesn't impact us personally either way and allows them a layer of privacy.
DeleteYou must be new. Ellie enjoys nicknames and that is perfectly ok for them, they don't need to explain anything to anyone. Enjoy her blog and smile and pass me some popcorn
DeletePioneer Woman, Ree Drummond, referred to her husband as "Marlboro Man" in her first book, because he looks like the macho guy on a horse in the original commercial. She still calls him that.
DeleteI especially didnt like when she did that, although she didn’t call him that every time she referred to him, she does refer to him as Ladd now. I don’t think I know Ellie’s husband’s name.
DeleteBeautiful picture, wonderful family. Thank you so much for keeping the blogs for us and encouraging us along the way. I know it's a lot but I really dislike the banner pictures of the Duggar and Bates on the blog. Some are so distorted you can barely tell who is who, So what if you have to add another row, please go back to the old banner of individual pics. I loved seeing how everyone has grown and changed. Once again thank you for all of your hard work and God Bless
ReplyDeleteBlogs such as this one use templates, the templates only allow so much space for the header. They are doing the best they can. There are other providers or hosts that might offer better options....Love the blog, header pics aren’t what I come for and these ladies give us lots of other photos to enjoy!
DeleteWhat are you guys doing in the water with clothes on? The composition of the photograph makes little sense.
ReplyDeleteYep, we're in the ocean with clothes on. It's becoming a popular variation to regular couples photo shoots. It was a blast, and the photographer assured us ahead of time that the salt water wouldn't ruin our clothes.

I'm glad you had a fun time with the photo shoot, Ellie! I was wondering about the story behind photo and hadn't ask yet. Thanks for sharing and glad the salt water didn't damage your clothes.
DeleteIt looks like you are holding onto him for dear life!
DeleteYou are so pretty here Ellie! I loved that peach dress on you one other time you showed it. It's perfectly your color. Candi
ReplyDeleteHow kind of you, Candi. You made my day. I love the color peach, so I'm glad you think it looks good on me.
DeleteThanks for being a loyal reader,
Ellie
Ellie, you do a great job with your blogs and are obviously a skilled writer. You strike me as much more than a "Nashville wife."
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new site Ellie! It's beautiful
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jill! Glad you like it.
