  2. I'm looking forward to the new season. I watch it on Amazon since we don't have cable. Hoping for more episodes than last season!

  4. So exciting! I don’t want to wait!

  5. I wonder if the Duggars will be attending the two camps the Forsythes have organised this year promoting the Pearls and their disgusting manual on child training? I hope TLC hear about this and at the very least remove the Forsythes (Austin and Joy included) from the sbow for promoting what os child abuse.

    1. There's no way of knowing what the Duggars or the Forsythes "support". I'm under the impression the Forsythes rent their facility out to various groups to derive an income.

    2. What are you talking about?

      Delete
    3. Joy and Austin don't decide who Austins parents allow to come to their camp.

      Delete
    4. Have you ever even read the Pearl’s book?! I’ve read it cover to cover more than once and see no child abuse or advising anyone to abuse children.

      Delete
    5. I love the Pearls. I have read most of theit books and agree with 6:06... there is no child abuse recommended in them.

      Delete
    6. I think you're a bit confused. The Forsythes RENT their facility out. That in no way implies they support or agree with the views of the people paying to use the facility.

      Delete
    7. Please explain.

    8. The Pearls recommended using the rod for punishment's so I think that's why people think its abuse.

      Delete
    9. The Duggars have very openly supported the Pearls. Michelle even had their book To train up a child listed on their website as a recommendation with a link to the Pearls. There is NO doubts the Duggars and Forsythes do not support and encourage the Pearls training methods.

    10. Judging by some of these comments regarding the Pearls, there's a difference of opinion on what consititutes child abuse. I've read many exerpts from their books and watched some of their videos. I find their methods incredibly alarming. I have never interpreted the "rod" mentioned in the Bible as a tool to inflict pain on a child. I view it as a means to guilde, as a shepherd's staff. "Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me." These words paint a picture of a strong, protective shepherd that can be trusted, one who does not beat the flock into submission. I never spanked my kids and they've grown up to be loving and responsible adults. It is possible to discipline without resorting to physical intimidation or violence. I also find Debi Pearl's reference to her husband as her "king" absolutely ludicrous.

    11. Anon @ 9:19 The Forsythes do not rent out their camp, they run amd organise all events. Even if they did rent it out they would have the final say in who runs an event there, and could turn away anyone they did not agree with.

    12. The Forsyth’s run a business, following state and federal laws means they must be careful who they turn away. I am reminded of a local bakery who declined to bake a wedding cake for a couple who’s lifestyle the bakery owners did not agree with. It went to the OR Supreme Court and the bakery lost. The Forsyth's are in business to make money and can post a disclaimer that guests views do not represent their own.
I’m gonna advocate for the Forsyth’s to run their business and not judge either side of this issue.

  6. Yay!! I sure hope Anna, Jim Bob, and Mitchell are on the show!!!!

  7. Mostly looks promising, but I really don't need to see Joe's wedding for a second time??

    1. Yep all that wedding planning and Joys honeymoon even know it was like over half a year ago. Why can't they be like other shows who are more recent?

      Delete
    2. OP, some people missed the wedding.

      Delete
    3. It takes a couple of months to edit the show.

      Delete
    4. Joe's wedding was only September, not too far behind. There is a show on TLC that is finally showing a daughter's wedding from Dec 2016, 14 months behind. That's extreme

  8. It looks like it’s going to be a good season. I am looking forward to it.

  9. Hi guys! I've just realized that Josiah's relationship with Lauren must have been going on for a few good months now. There's a photo of the two of them where he's wearing a light blue shirt and it seems to have been taken in the same occasion of the latest Duggar family photos in their garden. In the family photo Josiah is wearing the same shirt and it really looks like they've been taken the same day.
And since Mason still hadn't been born when those photos were taken, it means that Lauren has been around for a while now, at least since august!

    1. My, you do have an eye for detail. It must be important to you to know exactly when the relationship.

      Delete
    2. It's important to know the difference between what you're told and what you see with your own eyes.

      Delete
    3. This is a scripted reality show, not everything you are told is exactly 'truthful'. Some things are portrayed in a certain way to fall in with a storyline or coincide with the start of a new season!

      Delete
  10. I couldn't get it to play but I'm so looking forward to seeing the new season. I love this family and hope for the best.

  11. It's everything we already know. Looks like another season of flashbacks and re runs. Tlc must be trying to drop ratings.

    ReplyDelete

    1. TLC would not, on purpose, try to drop the ratings. There is just that much to put into a show.

      Delete
    2. It's not re runs. It was filmed last year but it takes a couple of months to edit it.

      It is wrong with you.

      Delete
    3. Really they filmed and showed the Roloff family within a week or two so why can't they edit more quickly? Its not that

      Delete
    4. Roloff's don't have the same people that the Duggars use to tape and edit.

  12. Jinger and Jeremy's house looks beautiful! Congrats 🏠

  13. The usual line up of events. That sounds good

    ReplyDelete
  14. Oh please, I'm begging TLC not to feature Joe & Kendras wedding again. Show us footage we have not already seen!!!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Just don't watch the wedding episode.

      Delete
    2. Yep and most of the season will be wedding planning. I think one episode on planning would be enough

      Delete
    3. I didn't get to see Joe & Kendra's wedding last year it was on when I had another show on.

I can't wait to see the wedding.

      Delete
  15. More courtships, babies and weddings, exactly what the show is about according to TLC, hence the name Counting On. Can't wait for the new season!

    ReplyDelete
  16. when are we going to get an update on Kendra's pregnancy? Also on the hang gliding picture, was a skirt worn while doing this activity ?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Not everyone cares to share every detail about their pregnancy. What do you want them to share and why would you expect them to?

      Delete
    2. When Kendra decides to share info on her pregnancy. She's her own person and has the choice to be more private if she wants to.

      Delete
    3. She had leggings underneath her skirt.

      Delete
    4. It looks like she’s wearing pants on the skiing footage, and it’s complwtely okay. I think that in that case it is way safer to use just Ski pants without a skirt over it as a skirt wouldn’t let the legs move freely

  17. Seems like TLC listened to us viewers when we said we wanted to see more recent stuff on Counting On. Glad that they’ve listened!❣️

    ReplyDelete
  18. Looks like much of the same old stuff. Please, we have already seen Joe & Kendra's wedding. DON'T show any of that or any preparation scenes for it. It is old news by now and she's already pregnant just a few weeks after their marriage. They have already settled in to old people's lives just like Jill, Jessa, and Joy. Instant pregnancy. Nothing to film there.

  19. I don't care what you show as long as the show is on love the Duggars. Why would TLC listen to haters when they defend everyone else on every other show. Patricia

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Any network looks at ratings and advertising sponsors to determine whether or not a show stays or goes. The Duggars have had a long run... not anything to complain about.

      Delete
    2. TLC doesn't defend everyone else on every other show. Others have lost their shows for what they've done. Or from lack of interest any more from the public.

      Delete
  20. How is any of that recent? Its over 8-10 months old. I wish they would listen to viewers

    ReplyDelete
  21. Recent? Did I watch the same video?

    ReplyDelete
  22. So glad the show is coming back! We'll have to wait a bit longer here in Europe but it's worth it! Hope we see more of Michelle this season too!

    ReplyDelete
  23. We finally get to see the Vuolo's new home, woo-hoo.

I'm sure their announcement is about Jinger being pregnant, but I'm hoping they're announcing a move to Scotland where Jeremy's dream job is.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Their not moving to Scotland were did you get that idea from.

  25. Ellie can videos PLEASE not only be sent to Facebook? I do not have facebook and have no intention of getting it. If a video link is posted on twitter, why can't the video be put there. The video here wouldn't load and when I clicked to resolve it, it sent me to facebook
