Seewald Family of 4 (Video)

Jessa and Ben Seewald, along with sons Spurgeon and Henry, share a message with sister Joy-Anna Duggar and future brother-in-law Austin Forsyth in the video below. Henry Wilberforce Seewald is one month old as of today. If you look closely, you'll notice that the boys are wearing matching outfits.

    1. I'm sure it will...why wouldn't it? People need to give the ladies time to put it up...every time there is a new addition to the family the fans want the header changed immediately. It will happen when it happens just sit tight y'all and relax😉

  5. I think Henry is starting to look like Spurgeon....thoughts?

    1. I think Henry looks a bit like Marcus and Michael, although he shouldn't, since those are Annas kids. I also see a little bit of Jedediah

  6. Ben, take your hat off in the house. It's not good etiquette for boys/men to wear hats inside.

    1. That nit-picking a little too much now.

    2. What really matters most is how he and you and everyone treat other people not what article of clothing you or he or anyone wears. That is so unimportant and petty.

      Delete
    3. I disagree. Following proper etiquette models how you respect yourself by presenting yourself with class and dignity.

      Delete
    4. It's also not good etiquette to tell someone what to do in theirnown home. Maybe you missed that day of Judging Others 101.

    5. Well 11:16, at least they can nit-pick in complete sentences:-)

    6. Since when does it matter what someone wears in their own house?

      Delete
    7. Bahaha. It's bad etiquette to wear a hat at church or at the table. There is nothing wrong with wearing a hat in your own home! Where did you hear such a thing?

  7. Why do they all sound exactly alike? "We're SUPER EXCITED for y'all". Can't they ever say that they are very happy for the couple? I don't think they really know how to speak other than those phrases. Why does Jessa have to hold Henry up like that to the camera. He looked uncomfortable and her hands were not comfortable either. Like she's showing off a prize calf or something.

    1. She wanted to include him in the short video.

    2. It's her son of course she is proud!

    3. They might also think the same about the way you speak too. Just a thought.

      Delete
    4. Anon 2:15 - The Duggars might have an opinion about how an anonymous stranger on the internet speaks? That's an interesting thought.

  8. Next we will hear from the Vuolos.

  9. Goodness, the new one looks almost as big as Spurgeon. He is doing good.

  10. "When's the next one?" Isn't that the question every new mother gets asked? So Jess, "When are you having the next one?"

  11. So exciting--Henry and spurge wearing matching shirts. No one has ever done that before. Thanks so much for pointing that out.

    2. That was unnecessarily rude

    3. 5:43 am. I can't believe you've never seen that before. It's very cute isn't it!

    4. 5:43 AM -- respectfully, you sound like an unhappy person. Hope things get better. God can help.

    2. I hope we hear an update on Josh and Anna's family soon, I miss hearing updates on them.

  13. Time for Spurge to get a haircut. Although his hair is beautiful, he's beginning to look like his own sister. I thought boys have short hair and girls have long hair in their biblical belief system. Poor Henry has yet to grow his.

    1. To Anon 7:12AM, Jesus had long hair.

      Delete
    2. What a strange and completely pointless thing to say.

      Delete
    3. Nooooo! No cutting of the curls yet. He's still young enough to sport a curly head in my opinion. No one would think he is a girl. He's all boy, curls and all.

      Delete
    4. Jesus had long hair? Where is that found?

      Delete
    5. Weird comment. He's a baby and looks adorable.

      Delete
    6. Where in the Bible did it say Jesus had long hair?

      Delete
    7. During Bilical times men wore their hair long.

      Delete
    8. 2:10 - The Bible doesn't have to talk about His hair, goodness me, so no you won't find it written in there, but that is always how He has been depicted. On the cross? Long hair!

      Delete
    9. It's not in the bible, it's common sense. Jesus didn't live in 21st century western culture.

      Delete
    10. I think Spurgeon looks like himself. There's nothing wrong with his hair. Personally, I'm glad Jessa has decided to do away with tradition, and let his curls grow out.

      Delete
    11. A lot of stuff that was common in Biblical times, you wouldn't want happening now! Long hair being the least of them.

      Delete
  14. Why does Jessa suddenly have a heavy southern accent?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Personally, I can differentiate between very proper and very southern depending on the mood. Nothing I mean to do or anything it just happenes, so I understand why she does.

      Delete
    2. Jessa has always had a bit of a southern twang. She does emphasize it more than the rest of her siblings.

      Delete
    3. Huh? whose mood?

  15. aww both so cute! Henry is a big guy! My three month old is the size of him

  16. Ellie, I know you do your best to not post things that are "insulting or in poor taste" but look at some of these comments. They are really insulting and maybe you could go back to weeding most of those out and not posting them. I think it would do wonders for your blog!

    1. I am glad she includes a cross-section of comments; not everyone has to gush about everything the Duggars do. Sometimes they do and say some goofy things just like the rest of us. I think it makes for a much more interesting and definitely entertaining blog when there are a variety of opinions. Keep up the good work ladies!

      Delete
    2. Amen to that! Sometimes I read all & shake my head. Sometimes I don't read any and smile, enjoying the post.

    3. I totally agree. It's bullying and bullies need to be silenced.

      Delete
    4. This blog would not be as interesting without different points of view. Period.

    5. But, this is a fan page, there are other pages out there specifically snark. Really, so ,any negative comments have made this site a lot less enjoyable. For me it used to be a fun, chill browse after a hard day at work, now it feels just as ick as comments in some YouTube videos...

  17. Henry looks more like Ben's mother.
    He doesn't look like spurgeon.
Maybe he's still too little to tell.

    1. I thought so too! He doesn't look like the Duggars and he doesn't look like the Seewalds but, yes, I can see Guinn Seewald.

  18. When is Jill due? Spurgeon and Henry look so cute with their matching outfits!

  19. I think Spurgeon's photo needs to be updated, he has grown so much!!

  20. I do like to see Joy's engagement ring. Will you post a picture ?
And - we all did not yet get to see Jingers wedding band.... Please show us.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Why hasn't Jill released her due date in July yet?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Thank you for the new header. It is very nice. Poor Jackson, however, needs a flattering picture.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Header change! I think you're going to have to go to group pictures of the married J-kids and their children instead of individual pictures of each baby/child. Otherwise, eventually we're going to be scrolling down a few feet on the page before we get past the pictures!

Could you please refer to Jim Bob's mother as "Mary" or "Grandma Mary," not just Grandma? She has a name.

Also, you're letting Joy & Austin commit premarital family photography there. In other words, he shouldn't be included yet, because he's not Mr. Joy yet. This is like Austin's family adding Joy last year to their picture!

    1. I do not think Austin should be included until the wedding date has been set and plans are in the making. REMEMBER Josiah??

  24. I wish you would put the original Duggar family first and then all of the grandchildren, so that they're all in birth order (a part from Mackynzie and Josie) and it's easier to see the original Duggar family.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Just be thankful that the ladies work so hard on the blog, and that they have given us updated pictures. To me, it makes sense to put the pictures of whole families together. We all know the birth order, or you can look it up on this blog if you are confused.

    2. Please folks! I'm sure Lily and Ellie know all the different ways to arrange pix in the header. Not everyone will agree with how they do it. When you do a blog, then you can do it your way! Until then, just enjoy what they do!

  25. Did I miss the announcement of Jill having another boy? When was that known?
