If you have been a longtime viewer of the Duggars' reality TV show, you have probably been introduced to the Bontragers. They are a family of 12 that tours the country playing gospel/bluegrass music, and they are friends of both the Duggars and the Bates.
You may remember the public Labor Day event that the Bontragers hosted at their Midwest farm back in 2013. The Duggars attended, and we posted pictures to our blog.
The Bontragers recently contacted us and offered to sponsor a giveaway for our readers. We were thrilled! The family has five albums and has agreed to raffle off three copies of their latest CD, "Someone You Can Reach."

What is it with all the megafamily musicians?
ReplyDeleteI know - is this the norm for mega-families? To form a family band?
DeleteIt's more rewarding to play music together with your family, whether it's a small family or large. Our family loves to play music together.
DeleteGOD GIVEN!!!! He blesses those who truly follow Him. And that includes letting Him decide the size of our families.
DeleteI guess just like the smaller families whose children play instruments, but now they have enough children for an orchestra?
DeleteRegina- "More rewarding to play music together with your family." That's possible.. for some. For others, they find it more satisfying to play in a band or orchestra where they get to meet and work together with new people. I loved every minute of participating in my college band and choir.
DeleteI would like to respond this to derrick who Jill married I know what this gagging reflux you are having is. Perhaps as a Child you had a pyloric Stenosis and you had a pyloramyotomy. Which basically means your pyloric valve is to tight and every time you eat something and it doesn't take much it gets too full and you gag and everything comes back up.
DeleteI love the Bontrager music.
ReplyDeleteI found them on YouTube and love their music.
ReplyDeleteI was previously unfamiliar with this family-- but I love their sound. Thanks for sharing!
