  1. I'm hoping Jeremy's parents throw a huge Italian wedding party for J&J when they get to that area the next time. They need food (made by Grandma), wine, music, dancing, the whole thing. There were probably friends and neighbors who couldn't go to Arkansas, so they need to throw a party in PA or NJ.

    1. Congratulations to both Jeremy and jinger! All the happiness in the world. I loved your dress it was so elegant

    2. I agree - Grandma V would have a blast at such a party! She was the liveliest person ever shown on a Duggar episode, other than cousin Amy. But Grandma was more genuine, bless her heart.

    3. I'm sure Grandma dances! Or at least did in her day. Jeremy, too. Used to party in college.

    4. I'll bet you Jinger dances.

    2. They had us looking in another direction! Ha, ha, they are both full of surprises, this is a good one! Jeremy will always be remembered for all the surprises he pulled off. Seriously, I think Jesus is showing us to always be ready, He is coming at any unexpected hour.

      Delete
    3. This was no surprise. It was all over the Internet before it happened. Every friend and relative was talking about it. If Jesus is coming, there have been no Tweets about it. We'll keep you posted!

      Delete
    4. Jesus's return is well advertised and many people also talk and post about it. Are you taking that promise seriously and waiting? Let's encourage each other to not be foolish about the return of Jesus for his bride, the Church. We can still use every minute to get ready and be waiting for our groom.

"I think Jesus is showing us to always be ready, He is coming at any unexpected hour." Folks have been speculating about and expecting Christ's return for eons. By the way, what does this have to do with a wedding that came as no surprise?

      Delete
    6. The imagery of Jesus as groom and His Church as Bride is in the Bible, attributed to Jesus speaking. Jesus is a living Lord, very relevant. According to Bible prophecy we are living in the last days before Jesus returns. He arrived as a baby as prophesied, died for sinners on the cross, was buried, rose from the dead, ascended to be seated at the right hand of God the Father and He will come again, in glory. If he is a living God don't you think He uses events to alert people to always be prepared? I do. I think that is really what this reality show is for, to glorify God. I am glad the Duggars are Godly people and God can speak to everyone through them. Praise God! It has changed my life.

    7. Surprises, I think four in all, cause the wedding news was different, I thought it was small in the east.

      Delete
    8. You seriously think God chose a reality show as the venue through which to be glorified?? Wow, he/she is really up with the times there in the heavens! Too bad there had to be that part on the show about...well, you know...

      Delete
    9. Anon @6:38. There have been events all through history that people living at the time thought surely were signs of the "last days." The Holocaust comes to mind. To my point, I think you are safe buying ripe bananas, In my opinion, when people are under the false belief that God is speaking through anyone here on earth, let alone a TV family, they will be in for profound disappointment.

    10. Not everyone has twitter or facebook. I had no idea the wedding would be over the weekend.

    1. First thing to always get cut is the food for the guests. There has yet to be a reception feast, not Jill, not Jessa, not Jinger.

      Delete
    2. I would cut the guest list and ramp up the food list! How do you properly visit with all your wedding guests when you have 1000 people there?

      Delete
    3. I am showing my age. At one time wedding receptions were cake, punch, mints, and nuts.

  27. Favorite dress so far, I love them all, but I really love those sleeves. This dress is so elegant nd classy, she looks like a European princess.I just love how all three sisters have completely different styles in their dress and all were so befitting to them and their uniqueness. So far, the destination of the overseas countries this family has visited...this one takes the cake.I always thought a family vacation special would have been an interesting one to film down under.I hope to retire to New Zealand some day...no scary insect or poisonous snakes there, unlike Australia. I am envious... for a good/different reason, and I wish them a safe journey there and back.Godspeed and Godbless Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo.🕇☻

  35. I noticed Jinger said "thank you".... Nice and lovely change ! it is very rare to hear her parents, or Jessa to say "thank you" to their fans, or people who are supporting them.... & if they do say "thank you", this is not using social media or we miss this !

    1. Why should they have to? They were born into a life of media and don't owe us ANYTHING. They also get plenty of negativity and bashing do to their fame, people watch them mostly because they are taboo, and they don't need to just take that and force a smile and a thank you because she was born into a life under a camera. With fame comes a lot of stress, bullying, horrid comments, literally everything you do, you are criticized for. So no, they don't have to thank you or anyone for this life.

      Delete
    2. I don't think she is thanking us. We were not
even told about the wedding. She is thanking those
who she invited to the wedding.

      Delete
    3. Anon@11:23 Jinger is an adult and she can choose to stay out of the spotlight. If life in front of the cameras is so stressful, she can walk away from them permanently. By the way, saying 'thank you' for people who support you is simply a matter of common decency.

      Delete
    4. actually 11:23 a.m., any celebrity should thank their fans. without fans, there would be no tv shows, movies, etc to pay them their huge salaries that come from ticket sales, advertisements, which we consumers pay for when we go shopping. so yes, the Duggars along with all celebrities do owe their fans thanks, even if it's only thank you for praying for us. and if any celebrity can't take the heat, then get out of the kitchen!

      Delete
    5. They make the decision to publish selected part of their lives. This is their decision.

      Delete
    6. They actually DO owe their fans something. If not for fans, they would not enjoy making money off a TV show. It's not that hard to figure out.

      Delete
    7. Fans choose to watch them, they aren't forcing anyone to, so no, I repeat, they owe you nothing. If you don't like what they post, don't follow them, but they aren't obliged to be grateful for a spotlight, and it's not as easy to escape a life under media as you would think. You should know this with Josh as an example. They were exploited and attacked, and still are, for something that with most families would have remained private.

      Delete
    8. It's not easy to escape life under media IF that's what you wanted all along, if that's what you depend on for a huge income, if that's what you put your family out there for, and if you can't seem to stop yourself from seeking fame and fortune that way. If the media is hounding them, they asked for it and brought it upon themselves. You can't invite TV cameras to your wedding yet insist on "privacy." That makes no sense. Don't turn them into victims. This is the life they chose, knowingly, willingly.

  41. I love this whole family and wish them all the best. I pray for Anna's forgiveness to Josh and hope for full reconciliation. His transgressions only prove that Satan is alive and well and spreading his evil. We all must be vigilant in resisting him.

    1. I watched the old movie, Last Time I Saw Paris. So sad, not just fiction, satan can ruin lives, don't give a final victory to the evil one.

      Delete
    2. Response to Janine ;
Perhaps you did not intend to, but it sounds like you are placing a lot on Anna's shoulders, to forgive and reconcile. She has done nothing wrong. It seems to me, Josh is the one who must prove himself, and he has a long road to travel to do that. If anything, I would hope Anna will have the wisdom to know if her marriage is salvageable and have the courage to get a divorce if it is not.

  44. that is so unfortunate, to have such a huge pimple on your chin on your wedding day :( my heart goes out to her - every bride's worst nightmare

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. horrible thing to bring up - nothing better to do?! she looked beautiful!!

      Delete
    2. A pimple on the chin is insignificant in the grand scheme of things,
hardly a "worst nightmare." Pointing it out is quite shallow on your part. Photos can always be retouched.

      Delete
    3. All the Duggar kids struggle with skin issues.

      Delete
    4. Pimples are nothing new to these girls. I'm surprised they don't do more to prevent them, given all the money they have to spend on cosmetics and skin treatments. They go for mani-pedi's all the time, why not facials?

      Delete
    5. I think the original poster is probably talking from one bride to another. And honestly as someone with problem skin, it's the worst feeling in the world to have something pop up over night that wasn't there he night before especially when you know photos will be taken. I don't think she meant anything mean by it.

      Delete
    6. Wow, what a bunch of horrible comments about a young woman's skin on her wedding day. Hello!!! Many, if not most, girls and women have skin issues at one time or another. An occasional facial usually won't help. I had my worst breakout of my life in my 30s after going for a facial. I think some people just come to this site to be nasty.

  61. Out of the 4 Duggar children that are married, Jinger and Jeremy seem the happiest and most "in love". You can see the love and joy they bring to each other, it doesn't seem forced or fake.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Their courtship/marriage is so new that you can't gauge anything by it. Remember when Jessa seemed head over heels and happy? Now she orders Ben around and gives him looks and doesn't seem as happy. Jill went from fawning over Derick to crying on camera when talking about being on the mission with him. Anna went from adoring to being separated for rehab. All relationships go through changes, so give it time.

      Delete
  62. I hope Jinger and Jeremy still keep doing their wonderful hugs. Their hugs were so cozy looking and so full of love. Now that hugs have advanced to kissing and the whole package, I hope they keep hugging too, because they did it best!!!!!
