  3. As soon as I saw there was going to be a party, I knew Sierra would be behind it. Sure enough, she's on this episode, getting more camera time. Is she trying to get a show of her own?

    1. Wow, that came off as a really snide remark.

  4. Sierra has one hand on her phone and one hand in her hair, so I hope Jesus took the wheel. There are babies on board. She should not be driving so distracted. Arkansas needs to toughen their laws on cell phone use while driving, like other states have.

    1. It's illegal to text in all 50 states last I heard. You have to be kidding if you think they should make it illegal to talk on the phone.

    2. its absolutly illegal here in australia o be on your phone in any shape or form, even stopped at a traffic light. Too many deaths occur from people on their phones here.

  5. Manicures, pedicures, baby showers...TLC definitely needs new material. The only thing that doesn't appear scripted is failing to account for rush hour traffic!

    1. Did you see the look on her face when that was mentioned?

I'll bet they ended up getting that hall for more than 2 hours. That doesn't sound like good planning, trying to fit all that activity into only 2 hours. Most places that rent facilities let you go over the time originally booked. You just end up paying something extra for the extra hours. No big deal. Wish they would have said that instead of making the shopping & pedicure be so rushed, and showing the ladies stressing.

  6. Are they trying to set up a Sierra spin-off series or something?

    1. She'd probably enjoy that. But she'd need better GPS so she didn't end up at the wrong houses each week!

  7. It seems TLC is attempting to showcase each older daughter in a leadership role. Likely to appease those who hope the girls will use their God given intelligence to enter a brick and mortar college or work for someone other than their father. We are quite aware each Duggar daughter can care for children, build things, fix cars and plan parties; they have had to do all those things there whole life! Let's see them pursue something THEY truly want to do!

    1. How do you know these are not things that they "truly want to do"? We shouldn't project our own ambitions onto other people.

      Delete
    2. If their religion does not allow women to work, then I wish they would just say so. That way we will know not to comment about the girl's future career (work) ambitions anymore. No shame. If that is your belief stand up for it and be proud of who you are and what you believe in.

    3. *their parents beliefs.

    4. Anonymous 12:58---agree; but wouldn't you think the odds are that at least one of the older girls would have a desire to attend college or work in an industry their father does not own? Or, maybe, their reality show, magazine covers and speaking engagements have allowed them to be independently wealthy!

    5. Our religion (conservative Christianity) certainly allows girls to work. It's just that we value the biblical model of womanhood so highly that we often choose jobs that are not overly "life consuming"so that it wouldn't be a big loss to stop that job to get married and have a family. For example, I was a nanny and worked at a farm before marriage.

      Delete
    6. Anon who worked as a nanny - Can you shed some light on whether or not women working after marriage is perceived as a "threat" to the men in your religion? They can call it "valuing the Biblical model of womanhood," but is that another way of saying they feel the need to keep women "beneath" men? Even Moody College, where Ben is taking courses online, refuses to allow women to become ordained ministers. Yet there is no rational explanation as to why.

I've found that in life, even when pretty brick walls are put up, metaphorically speaking, they're usually put up out of fear, to keep the world out. They may look nice on the outside, but they are hiding some ugly truths and fears inside.

    7. Biblically speaking a woman is not beneath a man. Quite the contrary. Woman are reveared. In biblical times woman were second class citizens. Yet over and over the bible is all about woman having equal rights to men. A big example is the first people Jesus showed himself to once resurrected was women. The Bible is clear as to how a man is to love his wife. He loves her so much he is willing to die for her as Christ died for us. She is to respect him he is to love her. What is wrong with that. My needs are different than his. He desperately seeks unconditional respect I need unconditional love Proverbs 31 gives an account of a virtuous woman. She raises children she weaves cloth she considers a field and purchases it. This is super woman. Some how we have twisted the idea that a woman has a role and a man has a different role and somehow made that a bad thing. I am a Christian woman. I have a degree in education. I worked until I had children. Then we chose the difficult job for me to stay home and raise my own kids. I am not going to expect someone working for minimum wage to raise my kids the way I want them raised. They can't be loved and cherished in a crowded classroom of toddlers with minimal wage staff with a high turn over rate

  11. Wouldnt it be lovely to have a post with all positive comments as it is a fan blog...sometimes i wonder what makes people so negative in life and well. .. that's just real real sad😕

    1. Disagreement doesn't mean negativity. It's normal in life to have people who disagree with you. I think that hearing from peoole with different ideas and lifestyles it's actually healthy for our own humility and growth. We can all always learn from each other. ;)

    2. I agree. People have different opinions on certain things and should be allowed to share them in a constructive way. I have NEVER read a mean comment on here.

    3. I completely agree Natalia! God made us all individuals with different likes and preferences. The Duggars should live their lives in a way that is pleasing to the Lord. It doesn't matter what the people watching think or feel about how they are doing things. This blog is supposed to be a source of encouraging information. If people feel the need to share their ideas for how the Duggars should live, it should be done with kindness. As I was taught from a child, "if you don't have something nice to say then don't say anything."

    4. I agree. It really is too bad that a differing opinion equates negativity. Some of my personal growth came from others differing from me and causing me to explore more than one way looking at things.

    5. Too bad some folks dont know the difference between opinions and rudeness or negative digs...which by the way there have been plenty of.Is funny that if a fan says anything against a negative poster they automatically assume we believe and live just like the Duggars...couldnt be farther from the truth in my case...buuut i can spot kindness and rudeness a mile away.Keep enjoying this fan site and thank you for your support of this here blog😅Have a great day and make sure y'all tune in for tonights episode☺

  13. Party planning could be a good career to get into as it lends itself to flexibility and working from home. Which would be great if they plan to have lots of kids.

    1. It's what Sierra does on these shows, but it's looking more & more like she's doing it to try to attract TLC's interest, like she wants her own show.

      Delete
    2. So Sierra is the one who controls what TLC tapes and shows? Don't you think it's more likely that the TLC crew goes along for the ride with whatever the Duggars are doing while they're there, and it just so happens that the Duggars rely on Sierra to help with party planning? And it also just so happens that TLC tapes the parties and the planning that goes with them, therefore Sierra-the-friend-who-always-helps-plan-parties would wind up on tape?

    3. I am sorry to have to say this but Anna is an extension of Josh and whatever money she makes is his as well and whenever she is on the show its a representation of Josh and that is not helping Josh right now. He needs to start from the bottom a work his way up with professional medical help. I do not agree how Michelle and Jim Bob handled Josh molesting their girls but they did what they felt was right at the time to their benefit. Maybe now they might see that it wasn't the best way and had they got him professional medical help things might be different now. However I do agree that the show is not the same without them. They were the show. Also it was fun seeing all the children in every episode. I am sorry this had to happen to this family. All the children seem to be wonderful children. These children are not responsible for their brother Josh and his wrongdoings. And, even in the shows that Josh was in he too was very well mannered and intelligent. It is truly a shame that this has happened to him and I wish he would get the professional help he needs. God made doctors for a reason. By getting help from a professional doctor which God helped put here can get him on the right track to maintaining his sickness and keeping it under control. He can start moving forward once again and be a voice of wisdom but he needs professional medical references to show that he did get the help he needed and has the right to do what he seems to do well and that is speak publicly. With going through the professional medical avenues to help him will in turn help him to help others. I wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors. Whatever is meant to be for them is in the hands of God and if God sees fit to continue this show then so be it. However, if God sees fit for it not to continue then He will determine its end and He will deal with it accordingly. To all the Duggar children keep up the wonderful work you are doing. Each and everyone of you are unique and an asset to this world. To Josh you need to get professional medical help in order to move forward which you can do for you are an intelligent young man that went down a wrong road a few years back and now you need to start working on finding the right path to the right road. To Michelle and Jim Bob help your son get Professional Medical Help for God has put these professional medical doctors on this earth to help those in need like Josh.

    4. Maybe Jim Bob and Michelle have decided to keep the younger kids out of the limelight for awhile. The premise of the new show has always been to focus on the adult children.
