    2. duggars should not be punished . They have been and the girls involved have been through enough. Take josh off the show . he is the one who committed the crime and therefore the one who should have to pay the repercussions for what he did. this a loving Godly Family who do the best they can , like the rest of us.

    3. I find it ridiculous what society and the media are doing to the Duggar Family. Although Josh's actions are not okay, he confessed, repented, and went to live on respectable Christian life. People who call him a hypocrite are hypocrites themselves. How is it okay to judge and smite a Christian for their wrong doing while allowing other celebrities and non-Christian icons to continue on with their celebrity status and lives after committing the same crimes? Not to mention Josh was a youth and they were not. And how is it okay to bash an entire family for the actions of one member? I am ashamed of TLC, society, and all of the advertisers pulling their ads. Duggar family my thoughts and prayers are with you. I support you, and even more so Josh. Remember Jesus said "you among us who have not sinned may throw the first stone."

    4. Please bring them back. We love them and all of the girl's are great roll models for all young girls. What if when you were young and you made a mistake it was published all over the media for everyone to see and you had made restitution and corrected your mistakes. how would you feel? his family took matters into their hands and took care of the problem we all make mistakes there is nobody that is perfect

    5. You will lose many viewers! The Duggers are one of your best shows! Because of their show I watch a few others...the Little Couple and Little People big World. If I watch anything else it is because of the Duggers! You put the show back on and we'll handle the sponsors!

  2. I can't really blame the sponsors...they are getting letters about this. It all comes down to the mighty dollar. The sponsors are being put in a hard spot too.I think it's time for the show to go...a long time coming.

    1. Agree in one way. It has been going for 10 years+ and maybe they need time without cameras in their faces. I read that Jill, Derrick, Jessa, and Ben are thinking about doing a spin off on the show! If too much gets made out of this, it could jeopardize their efforts!

    1. Becuase unless it proven in a court of law to the government it is still an accusation

      Delete
    2. He and his parents admitted it.

      Delete
    3. It's not an accusation when he admitted it, it is an admission. The fact he wasn't punished doesn't mean it didn't happen

      Delete
    4. Ah, what? He said he did it.....

      Delete
    5. An admission of guilt is not the same as a conviction. Unless he is convicted of a crime it remains an accusation, legally speaking. You're obviously not a fan

  12. Best show on TLC. I support the Duggars on or off the air! Excellent program, Godly family, strong morals and ethics. Actually I cannot believe it has lasted this long on the TLC network...God is good.

  13. Put them back on..it is one of the few things worth watchig on tv...

  14. Please do not cancel this series. From what I can see this is all old news and was handled very maturely. Every family has skeletons, it is how we handle them that shows out character and the Duggars rose above yet again. I will not watch anything on TLC until this series is back! I love you Duggars!

  15. I think whoever released the records of Josh when he was a minor should be prosecuted. It seems to me that this was dealt with long ago. The Duggar Family shouldn't be punished, nor should their fans who look forward to seeing what happens next with this sweet family. Don't let the media vultures win.

  17. Well, I just won't buy products from Payless or Walgreens. Or stay at the Choice Hotels. Bring 19 Kids and Counting back! My son and I have enjoyed this clean, family-oriented show for years. I have seen every episode. What Josh did as a teen was wrong, yes but has not defined who he became as an adult.

  20. I love the Duggar and have been watching the family grow since it started. He was a minor and all kids make mistakes. Some that all re not that great but they can change and become a better person if they see they they are heading down the wrong path. In this case they can be forgiven because they moved on to be a better person

  23. There is tooo much violence, profanity, vulgarity and unrest on television ... 19 Kid's and Counting is a breath of fresh air ... to remove this show would be a H U G E mistake :(
No 19 Kids and Counting .... No TLC for this family!

    ReplyDelete
  24. PLEASE do not cancel 19 kids and counting! This family can use this incident to help so many people that might find themselves in a similar situation! It is a wholesome show and, except for the Willis family show, the only one we watch on TLC.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Josh Duggar was never convicted of anything. Removing 19 Kids and Counting because of illegal release of a 12 year old police report involving a minor outs/punishes the victims and may leave your network open to legal action. At least allow the Duggars to address this on camera, if they are so inclined. I won't watch your network until this is resolved.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Please don't cancel the show! Can we honestly say that TLC is without sin? Who are they to judge? Keep 19 kids and counting on the air!

    ReplyDelete
  27. I love the show. Not happy with what is going on. The poor girls. For them to endure this again but publicly is horrible. Leave them alone.

    ReplyDelete

  34. He was a juvenile when it happened. They went to the authorities n they all seeked counseling n the girls forgave him. His records were sealed cuz of him being a juvenile n noone should have been able to access them. So I just believe that this is someone tryin to ruin the lives a a good family who had to face their own demons before they drew closer to god. All I'm saying is everyone is comparing Josh to the honey boo boo case n they are nothing alike the mom new her daughters where getting molested n continued to let him stay there. Where once josh done wat he done he went to his parents n they contacted authorities. So TLC you shouldn't cancel their show for a juvenile mistake that he has already paid for.

I don't think the show should be cancelled.

  49. GOD FORGIVES! The family is being attacked because they have Christian values. The United States is no longer a value based country the Devil is at work. I stand behind the Duggar family al of them. what kids do should not be held against them into adult hood they are kids and sometimes do crazy things. The Duggars have become part of my family and my 92 year old mother watches faithfully and is very upset about al of this JUNK!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  50. I will also be boycotting TLC until 19 kids is put back on. Everyone has there own pasts. Would you want your dirty laundry aired to the world after you have become a new person? Would you want to be judged by the world on a mistake you made as a child? He asked for forgiveness, GOD forgives, so should we!

  55. I hope, Ellie and Lily, that even if the Duggars do not go back on TV that you give many, many, many, many updates and videos of them. Companies can pull their support for the Duggars but they can't touch your blog. The Duggars know enough about production that they can do webcasts. Thank you for your blog.

  56. Don't get me wrong, I love this show, but there are so many unknowns at this point. While the report shouldn't have been released due to the age of those involved, it doesn't change the fact that Joshua did make a mistake. I'm kind of taken aback that people seem to care so much about whether or not the show is cancelled, when I feel the focus should be on sending prayers to the victims. Until the facts are cleared up, I Unfortunatly can't say with a full heart that I admire the duggars anymore, but I hope they fix their wrongs.

  59. It's about the ONLY decent show on television, please keep 19 Kids on! If it boils down to anything, just keep Josh off, but not the whole family. They shouldn't be punished for his actions. I cannot believe TLC would keep other junk shows on but not this one.

  60. We love and support the Duggar family! It would be so sad to no longer have them on TV.

  61. I feel like the juvenile records should have never been released. What Josh did was very wrong, but aren't juvenile records supposed to be sealed? Also, I will not watch TLC until the duggars are back on. The Duggars have just as many supporters as they do people who want them cancelled. Remember Chik Fil A? Supporters made their views known with their dollar. TLC, General Mills, Walgreens, and Payless should hear our views too by supporters not shopping there or watching their shows. Praying for the Duggars and the girls affected.

  67. Hi Lily and Ellie

I have always watched this show but it isn't surprising that corporations are pulling out their advertisements. If 19 Kids is to survive we need to hear from the Duggars and not just a statement released to the press. I would love to see a frank, open no-holds-barred interview with someone similar to Dr Phil and I would love to hear from the older kids without censorship. If they were to do this then bridges could be on their way to mended with the fans, TLC and the corporations.

We need to hear from the Duggars

  69. I find it very upsetting as to the amount of people who think they set to the right hand of God and can pass judgment. I'ts even more strange to me that I live in a society that can't or will not show mercy ! what is wrong with people ! has none of these people committed ANY sin?

    ReplyDelete
  70. BIG MISTAKE for TLC!! How many stars have done far worse with their lives and yet can still go on with their lives and make money??? A lot of stars keep repeating their mistakes and are not remorseful unlike the Duggars!!

    ReplyDelete
  71. ~PLEASE put 19 kids & counting back on the air, the channel line up is NOT the same...I don't understand it all, why is this issue being held against Josh duggar still to this day seeing that it happened 12 yrs ago....Why can't people forgive & forget & let them live their lives for the lord on tv? It seems like people won't let them live it down...Why are many other secular artists being held high in the lime light with like offensives & nothing is said or done about them, but when it comes to this family, they put a stop to it many years ago with healing & restoration & are now being persecuted unjustly...

  72. Please don't cancel this show. !! He made a mistake and hasn't repeated it since then. If God forgives Josh then so do I.

  75. I have cancelled my TLC channel until I see if you are going to bring back the Duggars. It is the main reason I keep this channel, can live without everything else on there. Was so nice to be able to watch a wholesome show with my grandkids. What Josh did has long ago been forgiven and yes I get it that those opposing the Duggar family don't understand what this means. I feel so sorry for them.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Don't cancel the show. Considering all the other shows that are broadcast, this is no reason to cancel this show.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Josh made a mistake. God forgave him. We are not supposed to judge others. The losers will be the sponsors who have redrawn. TLC why would you remove one of your top shows from your line up? The people who should be punished are the ones who took a private incident of a minor and made it public.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I am heartbroken for this family-I looked forward to this show always-I want to think that Josh was being a silly boy and has learned his lesson-This is hurting the little children- I don't know why the

  79. Please don't cancel this show.. whatever happened to letting the past lie. after seeking help, they put it behind them and have moved on.. the families of the victims have moved on. I admit what Josh did was wrong but he apologized, sought help, became closer to the Lord and has become a better man. let the past alone.. u cant change it. I love this show and what they stand for. if i was still young enough to have kids, i would want to raise them to be like the duggar kids.. respectful. giving, warm, caring, saving themselves til marriage...i respect this family.. i support this family and always will

  80. Dear Lily and Ellie,
I followed your advice and went to the TLC website to post my concerns. The following is a copy of what I wrote:
"The comments and intervention by respected and honorable public servants, Senator Bart Hester and Washington County Juvenile Judge Stacey Zimmerman, respectively, underscores that this situation represents “unchartered waters” for all involved, including your network. By pulling away from the Duggar family, you are sending a message that is OK to re-victimize minors – a dangerous public message. This case is unique and unprecedented in terms of press irresponsibility to minors, and therefore, you would be wise not to act hastily. The world is looking to you, in terms of being “The Learning Channel”, to act righteously, prudently, and wisely. Your production of 19 Kids and Counting is one of the best shows on television because it truly (as your own film crew has attested to and experienced firsthand) has heart. As a direct consequence of grossly irresponsible journalism, young victims may now hesitate to report their case to the police for fear of privacy breaches in the future. Is that the side on which you want to stand? Furthermore, in terms of teachable moments and social responsibility, what teenager, struggling with sexual issues for which they recognize that they need help, would ever now come forward after seeing what happens from trying to take responsibility for your actions? You have a small window of opportunity to do the right thing and show support for those who have taken responsibility for their past actions. When the tensions subside, please consider keeping the show 19 Kids and Counting on the air. This case is not going away and your network might become a model of excellence by following the lead of Senator Hester and Judge Zimmerman by joining them in protecting our youth."
I hope my words help. Praying for the Duggar family and am grateful for the wonderful way you both, Lily and Ellie, are standing by the Duggars, the victims, and for what is right. My last two comments were not published. I hope this one is published although I know you can't publish everyone's comments God Bless!

  83. TLC and Oprah Winfrey need to get a grip she has all kinds of shows herself on faith and your best life . The whole thing is ridiculous Those girls and Josh and his family have all moved on and an error by an irresposible police chief have totally turned there worlds upside down all things happen for a greater purpose so maybe another network will pick them up and end this insanity I mean really what is TLC trying to prove they love professionals who dig up dirt Im less impressed by them than I am of the Duggers if I were the Duggers I wouldnt want to be on there network any longer

    ReplyDelete
  84. Do not cancel the show.... best show on TV right now with family values. Let the sponsors pull their adds. More sponsors will take those spots. They just wanted out of their contracts anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  85. If I were in the Duggers shoes right now I don.t think I would want anything to do with a tv show. All this junk that never should have came up in the first place has caused their family great harm. What is best for The Duggers is ok with me but I will miss then. They seem like family after 10 years on tv.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Is it true they are going to do a spin off with just two of the girls??

  87. Love the Duggar family and I am praying for them. I hope TLC realizes the importance of showing programs that support families with positive messages. This world would be a much better place to live if we had more families promoting Godly principles. I thank God for His forgiveness.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Please bring back the Duggar's. What happened isn't to be condoned, but the forgiveness of the family has happened to the people that were involved. This is one of the only shows that I watch. I enjoy watching a show that isn't bleeped every 2 seconds for swearing.

  89. I LOVE THIS SHOW and your beautiful family. Be STRONG and everything will work out. God Bless you all. This is the BEST SHOW on TLC. I am looking forward to seeing all the new episodes, and watching all your BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN grow-up !!! Your Friend, Cheryl in CA

    ReplyDelete
  90. I think there are bigger things in store for the Duggar's. Hopoing a Christian network will pick up the show and they can minister the way they want. I imagine there are so many things that are cut from the show that would be celebrated on a Christian network. It would eliminate a lot of the negative feedback...

The ones of us who understand God's grace can see Josh's heart and know he is a repented man. Prayers for God's wisdom on all decision makers involved.

    ReplyDelete
  91. The bias of TLC and these sponsors is obvious. My family will not trade with businesses or watch a network that would pull their support of the Duggar family yet continue to sponsor other programs which feature people with less than stellar pasts whom have not confessed and apologized. Money talks with these folks. I think this knee jerk reaction will cost them and when they realize that they will change their tune. We love the Duggar family!

    ReplyDelete
  92. please bring back 19 kids and counting. they are a beautiful Godly family. I Pray for them daily.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Maybe there are advertisers that will join if the show is renewed. How about Hobby Lobby?

    ReplyDelete
  94. The family is a my prayers. Everyone deserves a second chance. this happened 12 years ago. I do not think it's just that it was hidden but why make such a big deal of it now. Jesus forgives doesn't he? Does that mean we should forgive Josh?

    ReplyDelete
  95. Thanks Valerie Houston, I have asked the same question about my comments, because up to now they have been positive. I have read today about the parents using "the rod" to discipline the kids, the "blanket" method on the babies. . . what? God, using my husband and myself raised our sons without either of these things. The article I read about the girls leaving Josh out of the wedding parties may make some sense also, so I repeat from an earlier non published post, we should pray for Josh, who probably feels as though his life is over, for strength and faith to get through this, and maybe, just maybe in light of everything it might be best for all Christians for Michelle and Jim Bob to step back and re-examine their position and God's will for their lives at this time. Prayers instead of petitions, ?

Everyone has things in their past they regret and the Duggars handled this problem in the best possible way. The person in the wrong is the one who leaked information about a minor.

  107. I have enjoyed 19 (the number is revised periodically) kids and counting for many years. I have especially appreciated Jim Bob's acceptance as leader of the family and Michelle's willingness to support his role. However, Josh's actions put them as parents in a "no-win" situation. As a result of the past issues, I believe Jim Bob should have known better than to allow his family to be portrayed as "conservative family icons" and Josh should have known better than to put the Family Research Council's reputation at risk by ever having the past drug up. I truly believe that Jim Bob and Josh never expected the past to be discovered. I sadly think that the show should be taken off the air, for now, as it is doing damage to the cause of Christ. This again demonstrates that those of us who take the risk today of being champions for Christ better make sure there are no skeletons in our closet that will backfire in our face and counter all of the good we are trying to do. God Bless you all.

  108. his actions were wrong as a young teenage boy. he has asked for forgiveness and has been shamed through the church. Leave them alone this is a great show

  109. I left comments on all the above corporations above, that my family would not shop at any of their stores. Leave this family alone!

    ReplyDelete
  110. Keep the show on..let this all be addressed on TV..now thats a real reality show..maybe this could help other families with similar problems..make it real!..and if these sponsors can't handle it..new ones will. Still a good show.

  111. The Duggar's need to concentrate on healing their family at a very deep level. While the girls have forgiven Josh, I hope they received serious counseling. This violation of their personhood is not something you just "forget." My heart goes out to all involved including Josh, but it is time for this family to unplug from all social media, i.e, Facebook, twitter, instagram, magazine cover stories etc.
You cannot be involved in all of these things and not expect it to backfire. I for one will miss the show but care more about the need for this family to heal. Anyone thought about the fact that maybe the Lord pulled the plug on this??? It is quite possible He did.

  112. I think the Duggar family has a lot of 'fans' I went to 'Luther college' and that showed up as a big fan base too on facebook when the disabled graduate took some steps. I think it is wise to focus more on scripture and Jesus, cause we don't know when our biggest fans may give up and move on with life. Either way I believe God can and does provide for this family. They can research wild edible foods that the native American's ate and expand their needs by sharing gospel with more folks in bad neighborhoods of the USA. I don't feel it is right to tell a family what to do, nor do I feel it is right to beg TLC and other business for names and titles.... Mrs. Duggar has very good advice for new mothers or struggling mothers.... I am thankful this advice is publicly available.

  113. Please don't cancel the duggars! it's one of the main shows I watch oN TLC. Josh duggar has done wrong, he has acknowledged it and has said he was sorry for what he did. He did it 12 years ago! Since then, I doubt he actually has done it again. He did it once, found it was wrong, and didn't do it again. I say put it on again, other stars have done things like this but none of them have had their shows canceled! Or acting careers or whatever they are involved in, why should the duggars. Put the duggars on TLC again! Please!?

  114. God's Will, will prevail. I am not surprised at the fact that main stream is attacking. It is not the fact that Josh messed up when he was a teenager, It is attack on God's children. I am amazed though at how quick people jump ship with out gathering the facts. I stand behind this family. May God continue to bless you and I pray that God will continue to use Josh and his beautiful family as a witness for Him. The sponsors don't need my money!!!

  115. @AnonymousI Love TLC...a lot of great shows but this one has to go

    ReplyDelete
  116. @AnonymousGreat Idea Up should pick up the Duggars :) I watch the Bates family on there.

    ReplyDelete
  117. I understand wanting to support them but at this point you would think the Duggar family might want to to consider walking away from the public eye and life in the spotlight.

    ReplyDelete
  118. I loved the show, however, I think the show should continue without Jim Bob, Michelle, Josh and his family.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Parenting is a really hard job, no joke! I feel inspired and motivated by how positive the vibe is in thEir family. I respect what amazing, giving, compassionate and selfless young adults their children have grown to be! This is an amazing testament to how they are being raised. I am terribly saddened by the news of what happened with Josh as a child. Juvenile record's should always remain sealed and there is no excuse for his these were made public knowledge. I support and stand by this family 100% and I will be so disappointed if they don't return to TV.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Why does it always have to be abut money? Sure would b nice to see some sponsors stand behind them instead of passing judgement so quickly and pulling advertisement so quickly? Where's your backbone sponsors? Just goes to prove you are all about the money you can make off your advertising.O f course you advertisers always tell the truth about your product.

  121. Don't cancel this show. Josh sinned as a minor. He repented. God forgave him, his sisters forgave him, his parents forgave him. Do you think you are better than God and his family? Christians know if we don't forgive we won't be forgiven. Why are you punishing this family and everyone who loves them and this show?

    ReplyDelete
  122. Please keep the show.

  123. They are revealing to all the world something that was suppose to never told because it was juvenile, the shame should be on the police chief that did this

  124. Please do not cancel the show. Pray for people to leave them alone.

  125. So many people love, pray for and support this dear family. Shame on those trying to destroy them. My heart goes out to each member of the family. I personally choose to believe we have not seen the last of their program.

  127. Please do not cancel the show

  128. Let’s all contact the corporations who enjoyed the profits The Duggar Family brought in, but caved instantly when this has come out about Josh. Perhaps other companies should get the benefit of receiving the Duggar fan dollars, since that’s what they’re making it out to be. Shame on them for not standing up for the family. This affects the entire family. The kids aren’t at fault. Josh was underage at the time. How would any of us feel if our underage son did something like this, we thought he worked things out, only to find it on front page news. It’s “Persecute the Christian Time.”

  129. Please don't cancel 19 kids and counting. It is the best show on TLC

    ReplyDelete
  130. For the person who keeps all of the laws except one is as guilty as a person who has broken all of God's laws. James 2:10 NLT Everyone of us have sinned. Therefore we are all guilty of all sins. It's very disappointing that these companies are showing there true colors. I will not be spending my hard earned money at any of their locations. Please keep the show on the air. My prayers go out to your family. Praying for The Lord to show favor, restoration, and grace. Will also be praying for those at TLC that they don't allow negative influences to affect their longterm decision making. They need to look at the big picture on how a godly family has had such a great impact on so many people around the world and will continue to do so. In Jesus Name. Love, Kristina

  131. How is it possible that a show like the Kardashians is still on but not 19 kids and counting? Really?

    ReplyDelete
  132. Works both ways - I won't buy General Mills foods, or shop at Walgreens and I don't shop at pay less shoes and no trips planned so no need to worry about Choice Hotels. We can show our support in the way we spend. Best wishes for the Duggar family and I hope TLC will reconsider. We have become a very cruel world because we can voice our discord anonymously. How much of your past would you like to become part of everyone's viewing pleasure? I didn't think so. We are all imperfect. Fortunately, God and others are willing to forgive. Rae

  133. I love this show!!!! Every family in the world has problems. We are talking about a teenage boy and it sounds like the family did report it to the authorities and didn't sweep it under a rug. They worked through it like a family should. I say bring back the show!!! I have watched these children grow and I love this family values.

  134. My one evening to relax and watch a show I really enjoy...please don't cancel this show. I am and will continue to pray for this wonderful family, during this very difficult time for them.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Only God is perfect. There is no one in the entire world that is perfect. Please air the Duggars.

    ReplyDelete
  136. I do agree that what Josh did as a teen was was extremely inappropriate, however, he was disciplined to what his parents thought was appropriate. They did go to the police. They went to their church. They did what they thought was right. We have no business judging that. He was a teen. He turned his life around. If he was still doing this as an adult, we would all have a different response to it. I see no reason to drag them through the mud. Many of us have skeletons in our closets that we don't want people to know. Those records should have never been opened. It's no one's business. I feel bad for the entire family. I pray he can find another job, but this certainly makes it more difficult. I pray for healing for everyone. I want 19 Kids and Counting back on tv. It the best show on tlc. There isn't much left except Willis family that just started.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  140. I'm sorry your family is going through this. I hope these sponsors and TLC will calm down and see all the good

    ReplyDelete
  141. 19 Kids and Counting is a great show. Please don't cancel it!! It is one of the few shows that my teenage son will watch with me. It is a wholesome family show, and more of this type is needed. Nobody is perfect, everyone makes mistakes. But what you do after the mistake is what makes the difference. Praying for the Duggars and hoping that we get to see more of the show.

    ReplyDelete
  142. I am Australian and dearly love the Duggers. The sponsors that have withdrawn their advertising should be boycotted as should TLC if they continue to stop airing the show. Josh committed a crime as a child. His parents did not cover it up but reported it to the police. They are under no obligation to disclose every detail of their family's past history and they never have been. I speak as someone who was a victim when I was a child. The male involved was an adult much older than me.There are no excuses for this behaviour but I have completely forgiven him. The Duggers have said over and over again that they are not a perfect family. The person that allowed this information to be made public and profited from it should be punished if under US law this is possible but they should also forgiven for their greed and lack of humanity.

    ReplyDelete
  143. I will not shop at Walgreens,Payless,or buy from general Mills,or watch TLC,Animal Planet or Discovery Channel until The duggars come back on. They did this with The Cosby show also..But strangely, they leave filth on the air like Naked and Afraid,Sister Wives,Amish Mafia, etc. There are all kinds of worthless, profane shows on but this is an attack on Christians. It sure is funny how The Duggars and Cosby reruns were pulled, leaving us with all these dysfunctional programs on the air. I never saw one action that would deem Josh a pervert or anything on The Cosby Show that depicted a perverted Bill Cosby either. Gracious,I sure hope melissa Gilbert doesn't do anything wrong or there goes my Little House On the Prairie reruns also...

  144. I will not support choice hotels or any others. The truth is the ungodly has been after this family for a long time. Christians need to understand the world sees this as a person who cannot change. It is what statistics show and our society emphasizes psychology and once a victim always a victim. They do not know about the power of God or the new life in Christ. They just follow what they know. As far as they are concerned, Joyce Meyer should be on anti depressants and a drunk because of her experiences. God does not keep us as victims but we can overcome. We can forgive. God transforms hearts. The world knows nothing about this. Many who post comments are hateful people and don't care about a Christian family. At least it shows how popular this show is!

    ReplyDelete
  145. Do not cancel the show, all this happened and was in the past. No reason to bring it up now.

    ReplyDelete
  146. PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL THE DUGGARS. WE HAVE ALL MADE MISTAKES. I FORGIVE OTHERS, JUST AS GOD HAS FORGIVEN JOSH. DO NOT PUNISH THE WHOLE FAMILY FOR THIS AND DO NOT PUNISH VIEWERS BY PULLING IT. THE PEOPLE SCREAMING THE LOUDEST, DID NOT SUPPORT THE SHOW TO START WITH. THOSE THAT WATCHED ARE CHRISTIANS, AND WOULD BE FORGIVING. CHRISTIANS HAVE WAY MORE BUYING POWER THAN YOU THINK. LOOK AT THE POPULARITY OF THIS SHOW.....CHRISTIANS. WE CHRISTIANS DO FORGIVE OTHERS, BUT WE CERTAINLY DO NOT HAVE TO FINANCIALLY SUPPORT THOSE THAT DON'T.

  147. Don't punish those girls by canceling the show! Keep the show!

    ReplyDelete
  148. @Anonymousbecause not tried in an actual court of law, it is alledged.

  149. The show should be cancelled. The Duggar's should have shared such horrible information. They should have known that it would out eventually. Would you rather tell your side of the story or have someone else tell it.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Please put 19 Kids back on...Noone was perfect but Jesus...Josh was a minor when this happened. Duggars, we love you! We are behind you...and Josh too. Anna, I always loved you on the show, with a smile that you could never hold back. And sisters, the same thing happened to me...and we kept it in our family. And I am fine!! I hope you are!!

    ReplyDelete
  151. I don't understand. If this happened when he was a minor his name would be kept private. I'm confused.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Josh, don't accept the label that the world gives you. God calls you His child, forgiven, beloved...It has always seemed to me that a presentation of a perfect life doesn't help anyone much. The truth presented about our lives blesses people more when they see that someone as imperfect as themselves can receive the righteousness of Jesus...

    ReplyDelete
  153. 21Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?”

22Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.

  154. I can not decide if God has forgiven or not family, not for us. I do not think it is right that the transmission goes even aired especially without josh ... would like the family to turn his back .... maybe a spin off with the life of the only girls

    ReplyDelete
  155. I stand with the Duggars. Who wants their secrets televised? These are good people, not perfect but good people. There is so much more over looked in just our Politicians, this has been ridiculous... wicked hearted people trying to look for anything they can take better people down with. Please, please air the Duggars.. This show has helped me through some of my worst times. Please...

    ReplyDelete
  156. I'm a Christian and a long time fan of the Duggar family. I think the best thing that could happen to those girls and the rest of the family is to take the show off the air. They are victims. Every time someone watches the show people will wonder which of the oldest five girls were the ones molested. I believe this was His will. This is a sign from the Lord that they should have the privacy they need to heal. The spiritual and emotional health should be the priority here...not whether our favorite TV show will stay on the air. These are real people whose lives matter...they are not only put on this earth solely for our entertainment. Bless!

    ReplyDelete
  157. Jim Bob and Michelle, being the awesome parents they are dealt with this issue 12 years ago. They tried by themselves, then they went to the church then to the authorities. With the help of God Josh was healed and they all got past it and moved on. Far less exemplary families have dealt with the same type of behavior far less effectively. This issue was no one else's business and they were right not to disclose it. Those who want to condemn this family need to move on as well.

    ReplyDelete
  158. bring back the Duggar's

    ReplyDelete
  163. Please keep the Duggar Family on the air. I have watched their show since day 1 because I was so tired of all the violence and filthy language of all shows on TV. I love to see what is going on with all the kids. Josh and Anna's kids are adorable and would like to be able to see their 4th child join them. We are all sinner's and have done things that we are not proud of but God is our judge.

  164. Please don't cancel the show!

  165. TLC should never cancel the show In spite of what Josh did (and he is guilty ) but why punish the rest of the kids . It is a lovely family and I loved them all. I watched every episode. They were my favorite . I can't believe they are not going to be there for me to watch. PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL THEM just do not put josh on !!!

    ReplyDelete
  166. I am praying we can all move on from this awful situation. Those responsible for exposing this police report in attempts to attack Josh are causing more harm to the victims. Will the real Christians please stand up! If you believe in our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ then you know He is quick to forgive. My prayers are with the entire family and the millions of us who lives has been impacted by this situation. Any company that pulls sponsership its there choice and it's mine to choose not to support your businesses. All things work together for the good, so let's make a positive impact. A house divided cannot stand, United WE stand divided we fall. THANK GOD FOR HIS GRACE AND MERCY!!!!!

  167. I'm sorry, but this happened years ago, the family handled it and Josh had counseling. God has forgiven him, why can't people forgive him too? I am so surprised at the people that have taken shots at this family, even though they've probably never watched the show, Judging is Gods' work, we need to leave it to him. I love this program and have truly missed it, I hope it is back on television before long. Please everyone, forgiveness is our Christian privilege!

  171. I think people need to deal with issues of today! the issue that the Duggars are dealing with seems to have happened long ago and seems that they have taken action of the issue. it seems like it is not a public issue. The ones involved are the only ones who need to worry about the issue!! They are human Christians and Christians do make mistakes. I see no reason to take the show off the air. it is more than that.

    ReplyDelete
  172. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time! May the Lord help your family through the difficult time!

    ReplyDelete
  173. There are none of us that have not made mistakes, especially in our teen years. I applaud Jim Bob and Michelle for making him accountable for his actions and making sure all victims were counseled. Josh has repented and seems to have turned out as a fine young man. I can't imagine going through this, but especially in the public. The person that dug this information up from years ago and used it maliciously to hurt this family should be prosecuted!!! I have grown son and there are problems with him as well as he has taken my granddaughter (who has lived with us or over a year) and ran off. I would give anything to have the family support the Duggar family gives to one another. I love the show and will not watch any TLC programming until they are back on the air with their entire family. My prayers are with the family.

    ReplyDelete
  174. I agree with anonymous 174. People cannot stand to see someone living a Christian life, standing up and doing the right thing, which the Duggars did with Josh. I commend them for living the life we should all be living. Someday we will all see they lived right. Yes, they are not perfect, just as none of us are, but they hold themselves and their children accountable for their actions. I too hope their show is not cancelled. It's time the networks stood up to the nah sayers and put positive shows on that everyone can watch.

  176. leave the Duggars alone. they are a wonderful family and it seems like people are always trying to bring them down, are jealous of them or what. TLC put this show back on the air all the other shows on your network is not worth my time. in the meantime I will be watching BRINGING UP BATES on the UP CHANNEL. I think the Duggars should move their show to that network.

  178. all need to go let our voices be heard on each of these companies! We, as Christians, need to take time to stand for what we believe as faithfully as these who stand for evil. Wake up and stand up! I went to each company and emailed each, Walgreens is difficult and never could get it to send so I called! Will withdraw my support as they withdraw support of my brothers and sisters in Christ.
