More Snow for the Duggars

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are in snowy Columbus, Ohio, and are preparing to speak at a fundraiser at Grace Polaris Church this afternoon and evening. (Did you know that Michelle is originally from Ohio?) Their initial plan was to bring John-David, but the venue informed us earlier this week that they decided to bring Jinger instead. Even with 19 children, Jim Bob and Michelle still make a point to spend one-on-one time with each kid.

As residents of Arkansas, the Duggars have experienced more snow than usual this winter. They had a winter storm earlier this week that resulted in a two-day snow day for some local schools.

  1. It seems like Jana is Josie's Buddy? She's also seen at the hospital emergency room after Josie's seizure scare in this seasons preview teaser. I can see why Jana would be reluctant to leave the family home to start her own family like Jill and Jessa did. It would be akin to abandoning her own child.

  5. We enjoy the duggars. I have a strange question..i am looking at enamel cookware and wanted to know if anyone knows the brand the duggars use. The pans are green inside and when Michelle makes eggs they never seem to stick:)
    are they cast iron?

    2. Ceramic. They work very much like cast iron but are lighter. Care is the same.

  9. It snowed here in our state of Colorado. In fact it's so bad, that our church services for tomorrow morning are cancelled do to the heavy snow that's supposedly to be up to 5 to 12 inches. But my father still has a deacon's meeting tomorrow night. Our Church, Mountain States Baptist Church of Thornton, Colorado is looking for a new pastor. If you ladies or any blog followers have suggestions or know anyone who believes in the baptist faith and the KJV bible contact us on our Facebook or Twitter pages or visit mountainstates.church to get out e-mail address and phone number.

  11. The first time I saw the picture of Jana and Josie, I thought Jana was Jessa. They look so similar but I never thought that until that picture

  12. Those green frying pans are the ones "As Seen on TV" advertises...ironically... WalMart and any CVS, Walgreens sells them.

  13. I loved seeing the Duggars in Columbus. This was my second time hearing there story and this time was just as sweet as the first. I wish I could have heard Jinger play the piano. I remember Jinger playing two pianos in one episode. Does anyone know the name of that episode? I am shocked it wasn't on YouTube. It was pretty amazing. Michelle and Jim Bob, thank you so much for sharing your story with us.

  14. Papa and Mama look very under dressed for the weather and they could all do with hats and gloves. In snowy weather like that if they were to have to stop between warm buildings some where for any length of time they could be very cold and how would they get out of the vehicle to deal with any problems? A sudden change by the organization for a different family member is interesting, I wonder why?
