Wish I could meet them
ReplyDeleteI'd appreciate hearing what the Duggar Girls truly have on their hearts to share. I am over listening to the same rehearsed answers from them. Be honest!
ReplyDeleteI think when you're on a book tour, everyone is going to ask the same general questions, so the audiences are going to hear repeated answers. Also, if you want to know more, buy their book! ;)
Deletewasn't crazy about the interviewer but I know he did his best. :) Good interview.
ReplyDeleteHow eloquent these young ladies are.You can't fake that. What wonderful role models .We need more young folks on T.V. with a ministry mindset for our children to look up to.There's too too much mean, rude, crude, moraless , and mannerless shows out there. How refreshing to actually watch genuine nice people, you can't find any fault in that.Sincerely,Natalie from Nebraska
ReplyDeleteIt is good to have nice girls as role models rather than girls who ruin their body....
ReplyDeletepurity is important....
They do tend to repeat the same rote answers over & over again. I'd like to hear an answer that doesn't seem so automatic & rehearsed. I like the Duggars, have enjoyed many of their shows but we may have them just a tad high on a pedestal!
ReplyDeleteI liked that Jinger was asked a good question right away and her answer was perfect! Her explanation about the numbers of questions they were getting that led to a book was so humble, they are not arrogant or proud girls. Then when Jana talked about seeing Christ in their family it was wonderful. Their book must be their testimony.
ReplyDeleteAwesome interview!!
ReplyDeletethey do seem like the same answers over and over. why don't any of these girls hold jobs. and who got the money from the book the girls or the mom and dad.
ReplyDeleteLily and Ellie, with permission of course maybe u could post about Erin and chads miscarriage so we all could pray for them
ReplyDeleteThe outfits Jinger wears are always my favorites. Her quite manner is good too.
ReplyDeleteI think the reason people keep thinking there's something hidden that the girls aren't sharing or that they are in some way oppressed and not giving honest answers is because we (as a culture) think that the thoughts of our flesh, our sin nature, are our true thoughts when really those thoughts that are not pure or lovely should be captured and thrown out of our mind, not revered as our "real feelings". Let's say the girls don't like something about their family, would it be respectful or kind to tell the world about it and shame someone they love? We should practice this kind of gracious speech as well. Secondly, I think it's because of a misunderstanding that submission, respect, love for what is good are opressive in nature when the Bible says the very opposite (and don't our lives show this truth!) that those things actually set us free. There is more joy in NOT getting what I want and giving to others; there is peace when I die to my will and obey the authorities placed above me. Just some thoughts :).
ReplyDeleteThere is only 18 on the bus and there is 21 duggars. Where was 3of the duggars and who was missinga?
ReplyDeleteI was there that night! Love them they are so sweet!
ReplyDeletehow many interviews does 1 need from them? just curious. you are adults now go make your own life quit hanging on the duggar name. I thought they were going to school/college for midwife missing ALOT OF WORK/SCHOOL!
ReplyDeleteI am going to get the Growing up Duggar book, today. :) And I am going to meet Josh and Anna in TN. :D
ReplyDeleteI got this book, and it is amazing! I have read almost 2 chapters, and I think that every girl should have a chance to read it!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter and I love to watch the show. We watch it every morning in repeats. Can't wait for the new season to start. The kids are great role models for my 9 year old.
