I have watched the majority of their episodes but my problem is that i live across the pond in Ireland! i would like to know if there is a way that i can watch their new series online for free as my parents will not let me pay to watch episodes online. Hi, I tried posting this earlier but not sure that I put it through properly. Anyhow, I am a big fan of the Duggar family & adore your site. I check it just about daily. I was a bit taken back by an advertisement that you are allowing to be promoted & shown on your site it says it's for "male gamers" and is called "WARTUNE" along w/a picture of a woman who is barely covered in a chain that is supposed to serve as a bikini along w/her cleavage hanging out. I was under the impression that this is a wholesom family oriented site and have often checked for updates w/my younger daughters who are 6 & 7yrs old hanging over my shoulder since they are fans as well. I am hoping you will consider having it removed & refrain from having such ads on your site. I would feel very hesitant visiting this site again knowing such material is on here. The Duggars are Bible-believing, (conservative) Evangelical Christians.
Their roots are in the Baptist Church, and they still feel a close connection to that denomination. They refer to themselves as independent Baptist but left their Baptist church years ago to start a home church fellowship with other like-minded families. The main reason was that they desired to study the Bible together as a family, instead of in separate classrooms.

My daughter and I would like to know if the Duggars will be coming to FL in the future? My daughter says she would love to stay with them for a day. They are truly a inspiration to our family and all the other Christian familys. We love you.
We do not have cable, but love watching the Duggars on dvd. We have Seasons 1-5 on dvd and my daughter watches them constantly. She knows all children by name, and wants more Duggar dvd's for Christmas. I have not been able to find any dvd's for sale online after Season 5. Praise the Lord Jim Bob and Michelle! My heart was touched so much on the episode when Josh wife sister got married. How they waited to kiss or anything till they were married, Also how your girls talked about waiting till marriage and how they talked about if your not happy when you are single you won't be happy when you get married, I pray that this touched the lives of our young generation. I believe in that to but I was not raised in a Christian home but now I am a born again Christian, It does make a big difference in our lives when we wait till marriage to be with another of opposite sex. I did not wait and it did impact me life.But the Lord gave me a new life and praise God for his mercy. Thankyou so much for showing that and I pray that young ones out there watched and it touched their lives. These days so much is against families and their children and not having the Lord in their homes. God Bless your family and I pray that your family stays on tv to touch many other families, And that if we put God first and the most important in our lives many family fives will be put back together and be happy in the Lord. Seasons 1-5 are the only seasons that are on DVD so far. You can purchase the newer episodes digitally on Amazon or iTunes. Maybe that would work as a Christmas gift for your daughter?

I just saw a n episode where Joseph was going away for 9 weeks. Michelle stood several feet away and told him she was going to miss him, but did not hug him. I understand the no hugs between boy and girls, but why do the parents not hug their children?

Blanket training
Blanket training is an approach used to train toddlers and pre-schoolers to attain self-discipline. Proponents believe that with consistent training, the child will acquire an ability to play contentedly and quietly by her/himself for an extended period of time.
A parent designates a certain amount of time (usually 15–45 minutes, depending on the age of the child) that a child must sit by him/herself on a blanket on the floor. The child is not permitted to leave the perimeter of the blanket, and may play quietly with a toy while seated on the blanket. The desired outcome is that after daily training in this manner, eventually the child will sit and play quietly on the blanket whenever and wherever the child is asked to do so.
The blanket training method may result in negative developmental outcomes. A child's cognitive skills are just developing at this age and by restricting a child from movement, exploration physically and mentally, and vocalizing their feelings will severely inhibit a child's developmental process. Blanket training is not a recommended form of self-discipline.
Known practitioners of the practice include the Duggars [1]
Also another practice is that will take the child's arm and put it outside the blanket zone and slap the kids hand so he will appear to know that he is doing bad they are required to spank the child 6 times a day. I know this sounds crazy but do a little research and you will see the truth the duggers are very Occult like
At first I couldn't imagine why anyone would want so many children.........but..........after finally catching up on all the episodes as I couldn't watch them at first because I just didn't believe in having so many children, I now understand. Because of watching their show I can see the love they all have for each other. It is so inspiring to see how the older Duggars just pitch in and help and there is no bickering amongst them. Jim Bob and Michele are so blest with having God's greatest gift, the gift of life. I wish them all the best.

I am trying to find some good Christian books that I can read with my daughter about sex, and dating and emotions that girls feel. during the tween or teen years.

I truly admire the girls. It's kind of like a well oiled wheel as far as getting work done. My question is simple. My parents raised me to get a college education so that 1, I would have a way of full filing myself until marriage, and, 2, should something every happen to my mate, I could support the family. Well, something did, and I did as well. Do they not think there should be something in place for such a scene, something like a skill, a vocation, a college degree? I watched Anna talk about how Josh needed to be healthy because they would have 5 or 6 kids in a few years. I've found nothing in a Godly Christian environment that prevents the woman from this, even taking some classes after she's married.

I am confused by the number of episodes listed under each season. For example, there are about 40 episodes listed under Season 4, but IMDB and Netflix list 18 or 19. I am wondering where you get your (more complete?) list from. Thank you!

Hey I recently watched the episode "Duggars Make a Movie", which was the one where Josh and John were camera guys, Jessa was the sound woman, and Jill was the producer. In the closing credits, they mentioned Jill as one of the producers, Josh and John as the camera operators, and Jessica Duggar as the sound boom operator. I was just wondering if Jessa's real name is Jessica. Thanks!
I watch the show and like the family but it seems that the oldest daughters are being raised to marry and have babies. What do they do but cook, clean and take care of their brothers and sisters. What is wrong with having a career. Oh and the parents listening in on conversations with the boyfriends. Talk about controlling. These are grown women and should be entitled to some privacy.

I am a mother of 8 and one on the way. We are a one family income. Having a lot of children was never in my planned but after having one miscarriage, I was led to open the womb for God to bless. However, it has been really hard because family and friends say to me that I am insane and very selfish for having so many children. I do not have a lot of money but just barely surviving day to day to make ends meet. I only have a four bedroom house with one living room and a kitchen. I only have one bathroom that functions because I do not have the money to fix the other bathroom. It is true what people say about me that I do not have time for all of my kids individually. I do get tired especially with my pregnancy. I am feeling very discouraged. It is not just now but with every single pregnancy I get attacked. It is hard to find joy in raising these children. I get blamed that the older kids are working so hard that they will resent me and be bitter about having all of these children. Although they do love cooking and taking care of their siblings. They love the freedom that I give them in the kitchen to be able to cook and experiment with recipes that they find online. They are so smart that they teach themselves business skills and everything they want to learn they are self learners and self starters. It is amazing how my daughter teaches herself photography and how to sing, my other daughter teaches herself how to play the piano, my son teaches himself how to do business and he is very good at it. After saying all of that, there are flaws and it is hard to compare my kids with other kids academically. Please give some encouragement. My husband does work long hours and I am pretty much home all day with the kids. I believe children are a blessing from the Lord but how do you answer people when they say that I am insane because I do not have a big place for them and that I am selfish because I do not have the resources and time to give to all of them.

I been married for 22 years to a great man of God and our marriage is base on God and we are very strong not perfect however, we love one another and have build our marriage on God and his will in our life. I was raised in a big family and it was FUN with plenty of ‘helicoptering’ supervision! Along with my good, hard-working parents, my older siblings gave me help, discipline, examples of moral behavior, friendship and love. Heck, I had tons more love and attention than the other kids in school! I was also far more mature and responsible! ! I think All the Duggars are in the business of raising real men and women who will benefit the world. Heaven knows this world desperately needs such people! I also KNOW that being born into a family like the Duggars is a fantastic privilege! Lilies of the Field does marvelous wholesome swimwear. I've bought their clothing for years. I noticed somewhere that Michelle was trying to get contraception made illegal. Jesus has brought us so far since his time, when women couldn't even leave their homes alone, talk in public, especially when Paul admonished them when they got together. And we've seen in my lifetime the horrendous practice of slavery fought over. Does he not also bring us wonderful health care for those of us who have diseases that make it impossible to have multiple children? Is it not true that all cannot repeatedly give birth, for medical reasons? I think we are selling our maker short by trying to go backwards here and increase the mortality rate of women who would be forced to give birth repeatedly.
Have been wondering about health status of Derick's mom Cathy. Also if Jill plans to continue her studies and become a midwife.

I love the Duggars. Love their commitment to their family. What concerns me when I listen to political speeches is that the few who agree with 100% of what they agree with are always going to be represented, why the few living in their districts who also have dire needs but disagree with some of what they say will not be represented, and this scares me.

I have loved the Duggar's since the beginning of time. I have always wondered why Jana is so behind the scenes? She is not in very many episodes and the ones she is she barely talks...why is that? Why isn't there more of a presence?
As a viewer of 19 Kids & Counting since day 1, and as a Catholic, I certainly cannot condone Ben's comments about Catholicism. I do wish he had been mature enough to speak with a priest and find out what Catholics really believe. I think he would be surprised. I certainly would never speak out against his religion. Jessa, I do wish the best for you, but I hope you will wait awhile before marrying until he can provide and make a life for you. I hope that 19 Kids & Counting is not providing a platform for Ben Seawald or they will lose even more of their viewing audience.

I watch the Duggars and enjoy the show. I think they are very sincere in their beliefs. They don't argue with people who disagree wit them--they seem to be content with who they are and are willing to love others who do not share their beliefs. This is why I can not understand their acceptance of Ben Seewald as a husband for Jessa. He talks and acts very unlike the Duggars. He seems very rash, and immature. I am concerned he will turn viewers off due to his confrontational style. What do you think?

Ladies- Thank you for your work on this lovely blog and for keeping positive and encouraging. It nice to see the Duggar family has encouraged you in your work as well. I wonder if you would consider changing the order of the pictures at the top of your header. Especially now that more of the adult Duggars are getting married and having children I think (and this is just my humble opinion) that it might get a bit confusing and perhaps look a little odd if all the Jim-Bob Duggar children and then the grands are lined up as if they came from the same parents. :-) While I know the Duggars "do things a little bit differently and some how make it work" I also think there's something special to be said about each family and child being paired with their individual sets of parents. Perhaps like a Family Tree style picture. Again just one viewers opinion. Thank you both.

I seem to remember on a very early episode that Jim Bob and the older sons went on a short trip to visit two older sons who had left the house and were working in construction. Michelle even made a picnic lunch. Am I remembering correctly? If so, what is the story with these two older sons? Also, I seem to remember an episode that Michelle had lunch with a daughter who had moved out of the house. Jim Bob said that due to this daughter's lifestyle choices, she was no longer welcome in the home due to her being a bad influence for the other children. I can't remember if he said he had disowned her. Michelle said that she understood Jim Bob's decision, but that she was still her mother. Again, do you have any information about this daughter? I know quite some time has passed now but Im having a hard time understanding why everyone (Ben, his family, the Duggars, the network, and now this site) has just sweeped it under the rug and will not acknowledge it. Hi, I was wondering if maybe the Duggars girls still at home could give some tips about how they maintain the health of their hair with the heat products and natural curls etc. I have hair about Jinger's length and have wanted to go even longer for some time. I used to use heat to curl my hair but after reading a book on the subject I realized that I have naturally curly hair. After going natural I now have lovely curls, I just can't seem to get it long and healthy with the curls. It seems that I am always having to trim the dead ends. Since I occasionally like my hair to go curly, I was wondering if the Duggar girls could share any insights on that subject?
