#TBT Little Duggars on a Mission

Jackson Duggar, James Duggar, Johannah Duggar,
Jordyn Duggar, and Jennifer Duggar

Do you remember these little people? In honor of #ThrowbackThursday, take a look at this TLC video, filmed more than six years ago, which features the youngest Duggar kids. Can you believe that September  2017 marks the 13th anniversary of the premiere date of the first reality TV special featuring the Duggar family?

    1. Me too! This is the cute stuff I loved seeing on the show. I loved how well they played together and the funny things the little ones would do or say. Thanks for the sweet clip Lily and Ellie.

    2. Cute! Makes me remember my favorite part of 19 kids......when Jackson & Johanna did the "talking heads" segments, so cute! Then I guess just like Joy, Johannie got too big to hang with the boys anymore. I have noticed though that Jackson hangs with the girls alot. He must be a charmer! All adorable kids! Too bad, just like us, they all have to grow up lol!

  4. It's very disturbing to see a child brandishing a toy gun around other children.

  6. really miss seeing ALL of the duggars on the new show. many people have said the new show is good but it is just missing something. well yea it is missing ALL of the family. TLC needs to stand up to the bullies and have the entire family on the show!

    1. All? Not me. Josh and Anna need time away from the cameras. I think it is a wise move on their part.

    2. I miss the rest of them too.

    3. TLC did stand up to the bullies! That's why we have Counting On. What we don't have is barely any commercials when the show airs, nor do they rerun the show on different days like before. I think that is because a lot of people are mad that the show came back to begin with. There's a big world out there who believe NONE of the Duggars should ever be on TV again and they would be even angrier if they had Jimbob, Michelle and especially Josh on the show like before.

    4. Anon@ 8:47 2/25 TLC cares about one thing only, revenue. If viewership declines or sponsors are scarce, any show will be cancelled. They care more about their bottom line than standing up to bullies.

    5. Great point, 8:47.

  9. Ladies, I don't know if it's my computer or you, but this web page needs to be cleaned up. It takes so long to "load". I don't need to be bombarded with sidebar photos, advertisements for Duggar backed music and products. Please get rid of these things and concentrate on the content of this site. It takes forever to load. I'm tired of ads here; don't want them; don't need them. Thank you for your response. Is it my computer?

    1. I don't think it's just your computer. I have noticed some of the same issues recently with long load times. I use Safari and don't have a problem on any other sites.

    2. Mine works fine. Must be yours! :-)

    3. Dear Anonymous 8:05 AM,

No, it is not just you. We have the same problem. In fact just now I hit reply and an ad came up filling my entire screen. I had to click three times to get the ad to close!

My guess, the ads are what pay for the blog site.

It is very annoying when an ad comes up and you cannot close it because the "X" is so small that when you hit on it we are immediately taken to the ad.

I agree, it is REALLY becoming annoying! I agree, please fix this problem!

    1. 7:09, agree. I'm surprised the Duggars would allow their kids to have toy guns!

      Delete
    2. It's so wrong to give a child a toy that is obviously meant to portray power and killing. Sad to see it in this video. :(

      Delete
    3. This leads me to believe the Duggars are OK with carrying guns as personal weapons. Definitely not what I thought their values were.

      Delete
    4. Toy guns have been around for a quite while, while frequent mass shootings have not. I think the growing gun violence has way more to do with how we raise kids and teens than the weapon. The gun doesn't just jump up and shoot people all by itself!

      Delete
    5. It's still a weapon of violence, 5:39. The Duggars allow their kids to run around playing with a replica of it. Would you give your kids a toy intercontinental ballistic missile to play with, and claim it was OK because the missiles don't launch themselves? How about some pretend VX? Harmless, when left in the toy vial. This is sending the wrong messages to children!

      Delete
    6. A child pointing a toy gun at anyone is grotesque on so many levels. Guns are NOT toys in any way. I am the wife of a combat soldier. My children are military "brats". We are not anti-weapon in its proper place. We have never allowed our children to "play" with toy guns. We have never allowed our children to point toy guns in anyone's direction. They are not toys. They are not for "pretend". They have their place whether it be hunting for food or in combat, but NEVER for "fun".

    7. What's wrong with a gun as a personal weapon? Have any of you read the Bill of Rights? Do you want only the "bad guys" to have guns, and law abiding people to not have the right to self defense? I hope more people carry guns. We'll be a LOT safer. No more gun-free zones!

      Delete
    8. Many law abiding citizens have excellent moral values and believe guns are meant for defense. Don't put down the Duggars' values for wanting to protect their family. It is a moral obligation to defend one's family and a Constitutional right.

      Delete
    9. Absolutely a myth that arming more people will make everyone safer.

      Delete
    10. So long as they are taught to use guns properly as adults, they are no problem. These gun-free zones have more gun violence. I read more about gun violence in 'gun free' Chicago than in Arkansas. Just sayin

    11. I don't understand why suddenly anyone is upset that the Duggars see nothing wrong with guns, or letting the kids have toy guns! Where have these fans been? There is a photo of Jessa holding a gun around the time she married Ben. There's another pic of Joy in central America posing with the guards they have there all holding guns. Don't like putting people in neat little boxes, but the Duggars have made no secret of the fact they are Republican, most all of them back the NRA and believe in having guns. This isn't new info. Why is anyone surprised? I've even seen a pic of Josie standing alone with a REAL gun laying on the ground next to her! I like to think whoever took the photo was watching Josie didn't pick the gun up!

    12. It worries me to see him with that gun, too....

      Delete
    13. Well, a gun is little different than an intercontinental ballistic missile (especially the 2nd amendment part), but actually kids DO play with toy missiles. And if you don't buy them one, they'll fashion any long object into a missile and play with it.

      Delete
    14. Oh no...A toy gun! He could shoot someone! Quick get it away!

  12. Those were such fun times! Our family watched 17,18, and 19 kids and counting all on dvd for fun! Never saw this one, though. SO cute! Especially it is fun to watch, since they have grown so much, perfect timing, and thanks for the video. Grace 😂👍

  13. Where has James gone? We almost never see him on camera. He was one of my favorites because he didn't filter his thoughts and actions...just acted like a normal kid.
