Jeremy Surprises Jinger (Again!)

In case you missed last night's show, check out this video clip of the moment when Jeremy Vuolo walks in the room to surprise Jinger. (Click here to read our recap.) Now we know y'all are a little disappointed that there wasn't a different special guest (in addition to Jeremy, of course). But we hope that watching this reunion puts a smile on your face.

  2. How is it a surprise if he does this every few weeks?

    1. I think they are so cute! I love when she calls him "babe"

  4. So...can someone explain to me just when does Jeremy actually "Pastor" his congregation? He is now a Duggar reality TV star who just flies in and out "surprising" Jinger.

  5. What was he on about when he said "defiling the marriage bed"? They're not married, so there is no marriage bed. And anything they did before marriage would be premarital, not marital. I get what he was trying to explain, but really - he totally blew that explanation. It was one weird moment after another last night!

    1. Defiling the marriage bed is a common expression. If something premarital has happened, then moving forward to marriage, it is said that it has defiled the marriage bed.

    2. How does this work, if you've kissed or -whatever- someone else before you court a Duggar girl? Does your purity meter get reset to 100%, no matter what you've done before? And then you are entering the marriage "pure"? Do they forgive you of anything that has already happened, and pretend you and your fiancee are now equal in purity? Seems there has to be some kind of rule for this, if the boys have any kind of a past dating life.

    3. Yes, how does that work if the boy has already dated or kissed or more before coming to court a Duggar girl? Is that a question on those 50 pages?

  6. Enjoyed the surprise! Thanks for the updates 😊

  7. Jeremy could have skipped the flowers that Jinger was too excited to notice much and brought a box of chocolates for Ben to chow down on.

  8. A precious family where there is no 'acting' but facing the truth in loving kindness and forgiveness. I admire Jinger for stepping out and giving her love a hug now and then.

    1. I totally agree! I love watching this family

    2. They only "truth" is what they want to show you at any given time. Look at the big secret that came out last night, that in order to marry a Duggar girl you have to submit your autobiography to Jim Bob first.

  9. Is it me or did Jinger seem a little scared at the thought of getting pregnant ? The look on her face though.

    1. I can't blame her if she was. Who wants to have babies as soon as the "i do's" are said? To each his own.

  10. I love your family and I am so happy for Jinger and Jeremy. They are a beautiful couple. Regardless of what had happened in the past with Josh I still believe in all of you. Thank you for being so great. Congrats to Jessa and the baby. Welcome home Jill and Derick!!!

  11. Just out of curiosity what church does Jeremy pastor? I thought a Pastor was supposed to be around his congregation more often. How can he be effective at "pastoring" if he is go here and there "surprising" Jinger while building his TV career?

    1. Grace Community in Laredo

    2. Our pastor travels quite a bit, too. I think perhaps some who are called to evangelism and preaching mistake it for being called to pastor a church. There's a big difference.

    3. Grace Community Church in Laredo TX. He's an excellent teacher and I would like to hear more sermons by him.The church has put many sermons by the pastors on YouTube for people who can't make to church or want to hear it again.

  13. TLC is horrible about "surprises" and TLC's website called Jessa, "Jenna" instead of Jessa. TLC's ridiculous. Jinger's clearly already married since they said there are only 2 more episodes until the wedding.

    1. The wedding will not be shown in 2 episodes, its another all about jinger and the courtship etc. Won't see wedding until end of next season

      Delete
    2. I missed the preview. Did it say there were only 2 more episodes until the wedding? Now I am confused. Usually, they film the wedding months before airing it. How could they be airing it in two weeks?

      Delete
    3. I think there are only two more regular shows of 'Counting On' and she meant the wedding was in a few weeks too.So, I bet we will see it seperately in a two hour special sometime after their honeymoon is over.I hope it goes that way.I just wish there were more episodes like the first few seasons, one can only hope😍👰 💑 💏 💘

  14. I agree with the post regarding Jeremy being needed by his congregation, 50 people or not. How can he be available to pastor and run this little church when he's busy long distance courting someone and routinely "surprising" her with trips to Arkansas, etal? If I were one of his church's members, I wouldn't like for the pastor to not be available especially in such a small church where no one is there to sub for him.
Why do some posters believe that we are going to watch Jinger's wedding in a couple of weeks? If it hasn't happened already, it won't be televised for quite some time, like Jill's and Jessa's...TLC is not good about keeping relevant.

  15. I continue to wonder why people watch only to criticize. Obviously they are not meeting their expectations and they have bought into the stigma that social media has given the Duggars. There are still many of us who watch to enjoy the peek into their lives they provide us. Why question how they provide it. Do not watch if you have a perceived notion of being disappointed. Try asking God to give you a discerning spirit and not a judgmental one.
This is a joyous time is Jinger's life let her express it any way she wants. God Bless the entire family and I do mean the entire family.

    1. Another question is why do people buy into the Duggars without being skeptical about anything? Why believe everything they say or do? Haven't you learned yet that it's smoke and mirrors? God doesn't want people to be fools, or fooled...

    2. GREAT comment...Ditto and I concur!🤗👏👐

    3. That is why I said ask God for a discerning spirit. In Romans it says "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. I have learned that God forgives me all the time. He desires we be forgiving, and you are right he does not want us to be foolish and that is why you pray for wisdom. I just choose to trust God's word and in turn I enjoy the show and the Duggar family. I consider myself a Child of God seeking to be worthy of the love God has for me by giving his only begotten son to be sacrificed. God Bless you

  16. They are not married yet. They are getting married in november.

I still think Jinger should work before she gets married. Pastor don't get make that much money. My neighbor is a pastor and he said didn't get much money working

  17. It is definitely getting old. Not to mention clips of past shows from like 1 month ago. Give me a break, is that the best they could come up with? Also, why can't we all be forgiving like Anna & stop excluding Josh. I feel like we are not truly supporting Anna's decision to make her marriage work by not forgiving her husband. He went through counseling, it's time to give him a chance to prove he has changed.

    1. I don't want to hear one word Josh would have to say about being "changed." He was also supposedly "changed" between the other incidents, remember?

  18. Dear Lily and Ellie, I was wondering if you knew anything about Jeremy and Jinger's wedding because the wedding is in 2 weeks so I was just wondering. PS love all the work you guys put in this blog. ♥♡♥

  19. Having Jeremy show up all the time is hardly a surprise; its expected. Don't even call it a surprise. That's just goofy.

  20. I found this to be an odd episode. Showing the down time really showed how little they smile and I got the impression they weren't excited about doing the show. It almost looked like they'd received bad news right before filming and they were trying to be positive.

I also want to hear more about the good community service work they are all doing. Central America can be a risky place, I lived there doing volunteer work and as a female it was a first exposure to the treatment of women and family not similar to my experience in the US. However, I don't want to hear about it every couple of minutes and it's clear the topic is painful for Jill. I'm sure it's a mix of emotions. Tell me about the communities you've reached, the food you've provided, the education you gave...you're giving gifts of love, talk about and inspire others to do the same in their own way. I wish you all the happiness.

  21. Why no mention of the Zika virus from the Scott Enlow questions, they must not be following protocal, the suggested advise is to wait to get pregnant for three months after u return from an infested area. You can't leave this one up to God, they said they are trying, where is the common sense.I never speak against the family, but in this case I just can't believe how irresponsible it is.Hope all goes well, fingers crossed.

  22. Here's something I don't understand and it doesn't add up: Why would any church or mission organization send a young family with a baby to a hostile area in the first place? I would think that no one would assign such a dangerous/unstable place. EXACTLY who or what do the Dillards work for? Are they independently down there of their own choosing? If so, why would Derick purposely choose a violent place? They need to give clarity to their situation and exactly who is their employer? What does the "Dillard Family Ministry" have to do with SOS?

    1. Lots of good questions there, Anon 7:14. Personally, I'm tired of hearing them complain about danger in a place they chose to go to. It's like putting your hand on a hot stove and complaining it's burning you. SOS employed (or at least oversaw) Jill & Derick, but they also formed their own ministry for charitable donations. Jim Bob is very much involved with SOS - the whole family is. We've seen that. Think about who else would hire a Wal-Mart accountant and a high school (home school) graduate to be missionaries. Not many places. You're right, there's more to this than has been explained. A registered charity such as DFM needs to be open, honest, and up front about everything. We haven't seen that yet, only pretty pictures painted with religious phrases posted as "reports." But then look at what we saw Tuesday night on TV. That did not sound near as pretty! A little truth, please.

  23. Great to see these three couples together. Outstanding young people, enjoyable episode.

  24. Is it possible to get the list of questions that Jim Bob has for the guys to fill out? I think that is valuable to those of us wanting to protect our girls heart but also all our kids.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It would be better not to use someone else's list. Just ask what's in your heart, and please don't make someone fill out pages and pages of paperwork! Which of us likes to do that at the doctor's office anyway? I can't imagine asking someone to do it about their love life. If you really feel you need to know something, just discuss it, don't interrogate.

  25. Lily and Ellie, can you confirm if Jeremy and Jinger are already married? The last show would seem to confirm it. I have asked this question before. It always seems like I have to post more than once to get a question up and answered. Thank you

  26. My goodness, that Jeremy is one handsome fella! And seems such a thoufhtful and intelligent young man. They make a lovely couple. Who knows, maybe they will have a television ministry someday. They both have a wonderful presence, and a love of the lord that just ahines through. Wish them both much hapiness!
