  3. Why did Jessa get bangs?!?

    1. Um...most likely because she wanted bangs!

    2. I know!! I LOVED her old hair. I don't know about bangs they never look quite right.

    3. I'm guessing because she wanted to. Because we all like to change it up once in awhile. She looks cute either way.

    4. Bangs are good much softer looking. Easier to keep out of the way when feeding baby.less for baby to grab hold of and pull.

    5. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

    6. I meant they never look quite right on anyone. A little goofy but so is Jess. I was referring to them in general. I love Jess its her chose if she wants bangs. Just because I said they never look quite right isn't like me saying there ugly. I was just commenting on the hairstyle in general.

    1. His name is Spurgeon. And Jessa's hair is still beautiful.

    2. His name is Spurgeon not Elliott. And how sad Jessa wearing bangs is being spoken about with such negativity. Many new Moms want a bit of a change.

    3. That was rude. Their child's name is Spurgeon--not Eliott--and Jessa still has beautiful hair.

    4. Their child's name is Spurgeon Elliot Seewald. What's wrong with calling him Elliot? That is part of his name isn't it??!? I understand your frustrating with people not liking his first name. But people have their own opinions and the Duggars put their family out there and not every is the same. There is NOTHING wrong with calling him Elliot! Just like there is nothing wrong with calling him Spurgeon.

  11. miss the show and family the media should just leave you alone who cares what happened all we need to now is what is being done you are an amazing family with great basics we all could be more like your family

    1. They can't have it both ways. If you put your life in the public eye you open yourselves up to the media. You say " who cares what happened?" Josh broke their marriage vows--after publicly vowing to forever stay faithful. Anna was so right when she said Josh wasn't just unfaithful to her, but to all who claim to be Christian. I do believe that is why Scriptures says we are to lead quiet and peaceable lives, minding our own business. Josh has made a very public mockery of his Christian values and upbringing and opened a way for the media to be very critical.

  12. I know they said that they weren't going to do a name theme, and I agree with that, but for their next child I think that Shiloh would be a wonderful name. It fits their family and is gender neutral. Wishing the Seewalds, Duggars, and Dillards much happiness and hoping for more television features

  13. S1, Ep3: Just wondered what the song was that played while the family were all passing Baby Spurgeon around? "Take heart, my love....." It was beautiful, but I didn't see a credit and can't seem to find the lyrics online. Thanks!

  20. Loved seeing the girls and Anna and her family. I wish Anna and her young family the best. I am not really interested in Jill and Derrick missionary as it seems to lack direction. They seem to be falling in love with all the children eligible for adoption. Ben and Jessa seem much more joyful in their life. What is Ben doing for income? Is he still going to school. Enjoy their families.

  30. I like her in bangs it makes her more of an individual instead of being like the other girls. I had no problem watching the link. Ben works for the Duggar family plus goes to school. It is Jill and Ben that want to adopt. I'd love to see Jana in a courtship along with the older boys. I'd like to have this to continue. I think when the parents on are it is to much about them. But I love them all. I also enjoy watching the BAtes!

  31. I was also wondering what Ben do for a job. It's apparent he is working somewhere. I wonder if he is still working for Jessa's dad.

  33. I love the duggars. Bring that show back on tv.

  34. Maybe those hopes will include using a doctor & a hospital for the next delivery. A home birth for a first baby of that size with mainly family present - not the best of choices. Notice any midwife or midwife stand-in was not identified on camera. Midwives involved previously with the family have publicly disclaimed being present this time. No accredited midwife is stepping forward to claim responsibility. The state of Arkansas may be looking into who actually attended the birth.

    1. I hope that is true. Not out of anything vindictive, but out of true concern for both mother and baby. Both Jill and Jessa required emergency medical intervention to save their lives, and yet that is completely downplayed if not ignored on their TV specials. I understand childbirth is natural, but clearly even in the lowest risk situations it is not without risk. There is nothing "ungodly" about delivering in a hospital --God gives us intellect and wisdom--which is for our blessing and protection.
